We stayed here for a quick overnight stop. The hotel and our room were both clean, which was exactly what we needed for a short stay.

This is a nice hotel on I-69 In Auburn. Not too far from downtown. The place is pretty clean. We did online check-in and mobile key, so there was only a little interaction with the staff. We got upgraded to the hot tub room. Good. Nice soak for an autumn evening. The breakfast area was spotless and well-managed. A good selection of foods includes mini waffles, eggs, continental, and cereal. Overall a good stay. Recommended while in Auburn. read more

Walls are paper thin. It's 11:30 pm. Rooms next door sounds like a movie theater how loud the TB is booming. I'm sure they have it in a reason volume. I also heard them taking all night. They were not shouting or anything. I am a diamond member. Front desk ran out of diamond member snack. Also TV wasn't working and I had to reboot the direct tv box. Seriously this darn TV next door is so loud, I can't sleep. This sucks. read more

Time has passed this location by, like several Hamptons I've seen lately. Incredibly small TV, haven't seen these tiny screens at any other decent business-travel hotel. Tub shower? Really? No thanks. Just book Tru hotel across the street - much more respectable. Hampton Inn - do better. read more

Me at a Hampton Inn? Shhhh . . .don't tell anyone as my hotel snobbery is legendary! But this place rocked when I stayed there recently. It must be new as it has the new design that the Hampton Inns are all going to. The front desk staff is personable and friendly (even offered me a free cookie) and my room was heavenly. Clean, comfortable with a very nicely appointed bathroom with even a "furniture esque" bathroom counter. There was a free breakfast which was also good and the fitness center had equipment that was all functioning. And . . .free wifi! Yay! If there is a down side, it's that it sits pretty close to the freeway. So if you are a light sleeper, ask for a room on the other side. It didn't bother me as I slept like a baby, but light sleepers beware. Definitely would recommend this place for an inexpensive place to stay in Auburn. read more

This is a nice place. We were greeted by Sara when we checked in. The room was spacious, quiet and clean. The beds are comfortable. Everything worked and there were no issues The breakfast is good, with various hot items, a waffle machine, fruit, juice, etc. The coffee is excellent. Closed the pool 2 hours early because sports teams were at the hotel. The front desk was rude and did not want to help with any problems including broken heating system. The only nice thing was that they had a new Peloton bike. read more

We booked through Expedia and thought all was well-- until we arrived and stood with 3 kids and belongings in tow. We were told the reservation ever went through (confirmed through Expedia 2 months prior) and now they (and every other hotel) was sold out. Expedia helped find a fat less quality hotel and granted is a $100 voucher. Hampton refuses to do ANYTHING to retain us as a customer in the future. I know mistakes happen. But Expedia values is enough to give us a perk to use them again, where Hampton did not. I looked at Facebook reviews, and customer service was a theme--. A theme of being bad. We had a family vacation (with other adult siblings and their families) booked for months, only to be turned away and unable to spend quality down time with family we see twice a year. While we had a fine time during the day, we had a slew of boys sad to not be able to hang together at the pool in the mornings Will NEVER USE Hampton/Hilton again. Holiday In should probably send them a thank you note, as this rather large family will love their business. read more

They keep their TVs locked from outside input. Like trying to connect your Xbox or laptop HDMI to work on multiple spreadsheets. Such a pain in the rear to work all day and then come to your hotel room and find out they lock their TVs to try and force you to buy paper view? Idk why else you'd block extra inputs. read more

OMG! Stay away! Unless you want to want to run outta there in pajamas in the middle of the night on a 20 F night because you can't take the semis roaring and rumbling past and shaking the room! My room faced the expressway and I had asked for quiet room upon booking. The staff could not change my room as they were full. So I tolerated it thinking ear plugs and positive thinking would work. At midnight I booked it!!! to the Comfort Suites. Gotta a good sleep for 6 hours. Glad I ran outta the Hampton Inn! BTW, the decor at Hampton Inn is a cross between a 14 year-old boy's bedroom who is computer geek and a McDonald's lounge! It is institutional, cold, univiting, and childish all in one. Yuk! I did use their excercise room it was fine! The desk staff was pleasant although fibing when they say no one had complained about noise. Hilarious!!! read more

We stayed there last night and it was a very positive experience overall. The front-desk staff were pleasant and helpful, the room was spotless & a good size (and the mattress was very comfortable), the soundproofing was terrific and the price was very reasonable. The only reason why I'm not giving five stars is because the (free) "hot" breakfast consisted of the typical limited/carb-heavy stuff and the coffee was barely palatable. Also; we took our coffee with us and the cup size was minuscule. Still, I'd absolutely recommend this hotel for all of the aforementioned reasons. read more

As I have traveled for business, for more than three years, I have been able to utilize the Hilton Brand if hotels, in particular the Hampton Inn. This is my third stay at the Auburn Hampton Inn and regretfully this is my first time having to invoke their "100% Satisfaction" refund. The hotel is in great shape. The room was spacious, apparently recently remodeled, the chair and bed were comfortable, and the A.C. worked extremely well. The staff are great and courteous and try their best to accommodate. And the breakfast area is about on par with other Hampton Inns whether located in Detroit, or Evansville, or London,KY. You can tell that the team here tries very hard to make the visit as pleasant as possible. The issue for last night in requesting the refund with the "100% Satisfaction" is the Location of the hotel adjacent to I-69. My room was on the highway side so all I heard were the trucks and cars rolling down the highway. After sleeping about 2 hours, I was awoken by a particularly loud large truck and the rest of the night laid awake hearing the car's and trucks go by. Again, great hotel. Wonderful staff. And since the hotel cannot be moved away from I-69, my only recommendation is that you take the improvements a step further and try to add some sound proofing on the highway side. For travelers and those traveling on business my recommendation is when booking your room, ask for a room on the "non-highway" side. read more

Management was the rudest I've ever experienced for a hotel and I found a cockroach in the bed.

So this hotel is awesome! I stayed out here in Aug 2008 and I think it had just opened the week before. For hotels that are in the same hotel class as this one, this is the best one I've stayed in. Probably has something to do with the fact that they were practically brand new when I went there but the rooms were decorated really nice. The bathroom was wonderful! (I give a lot of points for a nice looking bathroom!!) The free breakfast was also really good. Quite a bit of variety. One thing that I found difficult was because the hotel was so new, I think the street that it is on is also relatively new (at least that section of it) so it was hard for me to map it out on google maps. I had to call the hotel and they had to give me exact directions. The good thing is that because that area is still being developed, it's pretty easy to see the hotel if you're driving around that area. This could of changed by now since it is Dec. but never know. Also if I remember correctly, it's not far from a lot of restaurants and what not. Probably at most a 5 min drive and you have a bunch of restaurants to pick from. Definitely worth staying here. read more

I stayed at this hotel with my family on a business trip. We had a longer day than expected, and didn't pull into the Hotel until 10:30 PM. We were not greeted when we walked in. The Check in person was in the lobby. After about a minute she came to check us in. Really rude. It's hard to describe an attitude in words, but it seemed like I kicked her dog or something. Her attitude and tone was nasty. Then she put us in a room that was about 30 feet away from a very busy highway. I went back and asked to be switched, and she gave me MORE attitude. She said I should have asked to have a room on the other side of the hotel when I made the reservation. I told her I had no idea that one side of the hotel was parallel, and very close, to the highway. She kept giving me attitude, so I was just like, "Look, I have a %100 guarantee right?" and she is like, "yeah, so just open a case now." It was like she was taunting me. She kept telling me to call right now and that she was "opening a ticket on me" (whatever that means). So I told her I just wanted to go to bed, and could we get a different room not by the highway. We got a new room. Walk in, smells like cigarettes. Disgusting. My wife wanted to change, but I didn't want to talk with the front desk again. Finally, I was getting congested and sneezing, and my wife tells me she is going down to get a new room. So I went with her. The Front desk sees us coming and says "What's your problem now?!" Ugh. We tell her. She tells us we should just leave, because nothing will make us happy. Finally she gives us a new room, but says it is the last thing she will do for us, and that she is "serious". Fortunately, the new room was fine. Please note, NONE of this would have really bothered me that much if I had been treated with kindness and respect the front desk. The next day, we told Sara the Assistant Manager about our experience. We invoked the %100 stay guarantee. Now, lest you think we are gold-diggers, dear reader, we were staying on the company dime. We weren't paying! We told Sara that too, so she offered us points instead, since company was paying. We rejected the points, because we didn't want her to think we were trying to get something out of it. She agreed to not charge us for the room, and said she would talk to the employee (Meg, I think). It was Friday August 10, 2018. read more

One of the better hotels I've stayed in. Comfortable and quiet. Better quality furnishings. Used the fitness room, pool and hot tub and all was great. Nothing was broken or in ill repair as ive found in other hotel in the same price range. Plenty of food options on both sides of the interstate as wel shopping. Really can't go wrong here. read more

Breakfast is a hodgepodge of dull dishes and do it you self waffles. Rooms are nice, It was really the only place in town. There was a cool Mexican restaurant across the parking lot, and they do TAKEOUT MARGHARITAS!!! They give you the glasses, the booze and all the mixins. Hotel Ice Machine here I come! This may be the only time I will ever give a Hampton Inn 4 stars... Its the tequila. There is also a movie theatre next to the Mexican restaurant. read more

I have to admit I was a little worried from some of the dated photos on their website but the minute I arrived I was able to confirm that those were old photos and the facilities were very nice. I was very impressed with every aspect of my stay (especially since it was a more rural area). The staff was beyond friendly. Every single staff member from front desk attendant to breakfast buffet hostess to housekeepers always had a smile, a kind word, and were ready to help. The facilities were clean and seemed like a very safe space to stay for a couple days. Decor was up to date and welcoming. Breakfast was pretty good as well but I was most impressed at the precautions they had taken in serving breakfast and appreciated their adaptability under the circumstances. The grab and go breakfast bags were a great addition as well. I also really appreciated the fridge and microwave in each room and, though food delivery services were scarce in the area (couldn't find anything available on Postmates, DoorDash, Grubhub, or UberEats), I was pleasantly surprised by the little "general store" run by the hotel with snacks, drinks, and even microwaveable meals. The staff, the managers, owners, and even chain of hotels seemed to go above and beyond, especially in these uncertain times (COVID-19) where our health and safety are concerned. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend to any and all. Only complaint, which they can't do anything about really, was the sounds of the traffic outside. Everything seemed pretty close and kind of loud. But the beds are so comfortable once I was out I was out, haha) read more
