If I could give 3.5 stars, I would. I don't know if management reads these reviews but this might be worth addressing. The room we stayed in surprisingly had no toilet paper roller. There were extra rolls of toilet paper so I had to open one. The other issue is since 1/2 the hotels now have permanent fixtures for amenities such as lotion and hand soap, placement of the hand soap dispenser was at the eye level of an adult. It would be difficult for a child to reach that since there is no more bar soap. Otherwise, the room was clean and but dated. Great breakfast and dining area, nice pool with even a pool shower. Well equipped fitness center as well. There is guest laundry available. Staff was friendly. I would stay here again. read more

This hotel was and is absolutely amazing! Mustafa, the manager, and his staff Nick and others all are most definitely an extension of his great leadership and exemplary examples! He has standards above and beyond , and these standards flow through out the entire property. Cleanliness A+, friendliness A+, breakfast A+, amenities, pool, hot tub , coffee and freah lemon infused water station in the lobby are complimentary and inviting to the eyes. This hotel had everything we needed for a quick stay when passing through on business. Clean and safe, right next to a Culver's. Front desk staff was kind, and the fitness center was open until midnight. They also have a pool and hot tub. Beds were comfy and breakfast was great. read more

We stayed here for one night due to a medical procedure a family member was having early the next morning. This place was close to the medical facility. Upon arrival it looked very nice. When we walked off the elevator is was a nightmare! The hallway was filthy. The room wasn't great but better than the hallway. The bedding was ragged and didn't fit the bed properly. The bathtub was gross. The room was dusty and furniture was banged up. It needed a major renovation! I was thankful we were only there for one night. I would never recommend this place unless there are some major changes. I took some pictures but check around for other hotels in the area this place isn't it! read more

We had a wonderful experience at this hotel full of helpful staff and really make you feel at home. To name a few that went over and beyond for us are Jared, Takia, Kihn, and Kierra. We are most thankful to the General Manager Mustafa always in a great attitude ready to make someone's day better. We thankyou for that and your kindness. Mrs. Mitzy is the sweetest lady that makes your delicious continental breakfast. She makes sure you leave full and satisfied. Clean room, a little bigger than I expected - I had some room to settle in, walk around set up my computer, lounge a little etc. Hot tub was maybe a little hotter than I expected, but it was relaxing! Staff was very courteous, asked about the reason for my stay and then wanted to hear my story. Very cool that they were actually interested. Terrible stay!! Hotel is dirty and under construction. We were not given the room we reserved 3 weeks in advance. Front desk wouldnt change our room for us either. Very non accommodating. Some of our group got sent to a different hotel since they overbooked themselves. Was not a good 3 day stay and would never recommend this location. 1 family had trash on the floor in there room and there were multiple people complaining that when they got to there room there wasn't even a bed in it so they were booking rooms under renovation without realizing it. ​ read more

Service was very good and the entire place is clean enough although the beds were not quite what I'm used to with being a long tim Hilton customer. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. This hotel was a one night stay on our way to another city. From the moment we arrived, the General Manager Mustafa did everything he could to make sure our stay was exceptional. He is very professional, warm and caring. Mustafa answered all our questions about dining and directions and took care of our other requests with a smile. He made us feel like we were the most important guests at the hotel. I'm sure he made everyone feel that way. Thank you! The hotel was immaculate, and our room was spacious and so comfortable. We had everything we needed for a great night's stay. Also, the continental breakfast was delicious. The lady who prepared the food was wonderful. So friendly with a smile on her face. After reading some of the recent poor reviews, it's hard to believe we're talking about the same hotel. Perhaps they stayed at a different location in Fort Wayne? Hampton's are pretty cookie cutter and consistent. A 3 because I thought the breakfast choices could have been a little better, but they were still hot fresh and good. My room was ok, sheets were clean but carpets looked dirty and the grout in the tiles was missing in places. The tub also looked like it needed a good scrub down and the shower head had that pink mold stuff in it. Also, the towels were clean but the shelf were the staff places them was dusty so......... Absolutely worst service. They closed the hot tub this morning, and that's the only reason we booked the hotel room. The girls -- hailey and KAT were so rude and literally didn't help and went behind closed doors without offering numbers to call Expedia to cancel. Secondly, when I rang the bell they didn't answer And when I finally got to talk to the "customer service" girl-- she told me her manager would back her and already knows. And the place didn't have a manager to call. Ooooh where to start... For one, we didn't get the room with the whirlpool tub that we paid for. After I called down to the front desk to tell them, they said someone who was in our room had extended their stay and it's no longer available. Did the employees forget to tell us? Didn't think we'd notice? Our room was then compensated for this mistake, rightfully so. The bed AND pillows sucked. You could feel the springs in the mattress, so I slept awful. I went to make a coffee when I woke up only to find out the coffee maker was never cleaned, as there was an old, stale, soggy coffee filter in there with coffee still in it from the previous guest. Wtf? The breakfast was a JOKE. Seriously. Even the kid in the lobby said to his dad, "Do we have to wake up at 6 am tomorrow to get a good breakfast? Cuz I will." There was only 1 person at the front desk during the busy morning rush, and the coffee in the lobby ran out. Lastly, the family checking out before us sounded like their stay was worse than ours! They said they had poo in their toilet when they checked in, the drain in their shower was clogged with hair, and the smoke alarm went off in the hallway in the middle of the night and wouldn't shut off bc someone was smoking in their room. I felt dirty & gross being in that hotel. I know lots of housekeeping employees are probably short-staffed due to Covid layoffs and they cannot do their best work.. but this is unacceptable. I will never stay here again or recommend this place to anyone. read more

I have to finally admit that I am a hotel snob, of sorts. Traveling most weeks, I have come to expect some things from a hotel that will be my home for the week, which I will mention shortly. Overall the stay was okay. The customer service was good, and the room acceptable, expect for repairs needed in the bathroom. I've stayed here once before and the room was in good condition so it just must be room 419. The curtain rod was covered in rust and what I thought was a long thread of hair in the sink was a long crack. Now, again, to many this would not matter, but how much does a curtain rod cost? I know a sink is more expensive, but get some epoxy or something and fix it. I'm moving on from this topic now. Breakfast buffet: avoid the flimsy, floppy, pre-cut fruit. I am constantly talking about Hampton Inn's disgusting pre-cut fruit all across the US, but this one takes the cake. The cantaloupe looked bad the first morning, but even worse the 2nd. If you pick it up, it flopped over like a dead fish the first morning. The 2nd morning, which I think was the same cantaloupe, flopped over like the worm that came from the fish. DISGUSTING! Since I am constantly talking about the fruit, let me mention something good. The oatmeal was okay and the wheat bread was good. There, now I have said something good about the foods. I'm sure there are other good things about the breakfast but being vegan I don't have many options so I'm not complaining about all the variations of sausage, bacon and eggs you can get. Meat-eaters would love this, I'm sure and it probably taste good, but where are the potatoes. Hampton Inn used to serve some type of potato, but stopped for some reason. Probably better for me anyway--too much starch to start the day. This place just opened and wow was it nice!!! The rooms are spacious and so are the bathrooms. The beds were so comfortable. The morning breakfast was pretty good too. Too bad we did not get a chance to try the pool. If you ever need a great place to stay I suggest this Hampton Inn. The people there were exceptional too. read more

This was a very nice hotel and seemed to be very new. The location was great and easy to get to off the highway. The room was quite large. We always very much like the way hampton does the bead spread. It's always clean and fresh and you don't have to worry about the fact that someone may have slept all over it. My family was in town for a soccer tournament last weekend. Our team, along w others stayed at this Hampton. The staff was amazing! When I was checking in, I realized "someone - member of my family" made the reservation for two weeks later. Hampton has one room left and was able to fix our mistake. The manager had stopped by to check on her staff. She was in street clothes (not the point, not mad) and kept apologizing to me for not looking professional. It was no problem bc she wasn't working, she stopped by to check in everything. I thought that was amazing! She cares so much that she comes in her time off to help. The staff was smiley, room was clean, breakfast- oh my gosh..... we all know Covid breakfast now, ‍ just pre-packaged stuff. This was the same. I've stayed here several times as I've been conducting business in the area, and I'll continue to keep coming back. The staff is always friendly, rooms are clean, and the breakfast is pretty good. There have been just a few minor "issues" if you can even call them that. One morning they were out of paper coffee cups and styrofoam plates at breakfast. Another stay, they were out of cups in the fitness center. I had a mini-fridge that didn't work once as well. Nothing major, and they've always been nice, apologetic, and accommodating. The fitness center has 2 treadmills, an elliptical, and a recumbent bike. There is a full set of free weights, mats, a bench, and medicine balls. Pretty decent for a hotel gym. read more

The staff at this Hampton Inn location was wonderful. The room was clean and the parking was very convenient. I was a little disappointed in the small "store" where you could buy drinks and snacks. The assortment was very minimal than what I am used to seeing. As a road recruiter for a University I am traveling often and arriving back at my hotel much after many restaurants are closed. The breakfast option ahd weird hours and there was no working drink machine on my floor. All in all I will be back because I like my Hampton Inn rewards but it's not a hotel expereince I walk away talking about. read more

I travel here frequently for business. So I like to think I know the hotel well. Ok so here it goes...brutally honest the good bad and ugly. The best thing about this hotel are the employees. They are always super nice and gracious and go out of their way for any requests. The hotel itself is clean and pretty typical for most hampton inns. The beds are EXTRA firm though...imagine sleeping in a sleeping bag on the floor. That level of firm. Much more so than most hotels I've stayed at. The rooms have shower only in king room or shower/tub combo in 2 queen rooms. Good AC with easy wall controls. Closet is hidden behind a mirrored door. The continental breakfast is good with lots of variety. The pool area is very nice and clean. Hotel has a small laundry area where you can wash your clothes. The surrounding area seems safe. Overall no complaints. Tip: odd number rooms have a better view. read more

This was an absolutely horrible experience!!!! Myself and my parents arrived at the hotel with a reservation that had been made weeks ago. Well after 12 hours of traveling they didn't have our room! Micah who was at the front desk obviously knew they had done something wrong and immediately called his manager and woke him up, who then preceded to give us excuse after excuse, the best thing he could offer was to sit and wait until 3:00am (it was 1:30am at this point) and if that reservation didn't show up then we could have the room. I have never in my life seen business handled this way and the employees and especially the manager should be absolutely ashamed to run an establishment that is okay with booting people out of their rooms. There are so many other hotels in this area, stay far FAR away from this hotel, you will without a doubt be disappointed if you stay here. read more

This location is clean and well kept. The rooms have a pleasant air freshener smell. The wifi comes and goes through out the building frequently dropping and reconnecting. Friendly staff and the usual Hampton breakfast. There are Diamond parking spaces on both sides of the main entrance which is nice. Love the king room size and micro/fridge in the room. read more

I've now stayed here for a total of 10 nights in 2013 - over the course of 4 visits to Ft. Wayne. This is a very reliable, comfortable Hampton. It looks like it was built about 10 years ago - just a guess. It's not brand new but it's not desperate for an update like some older Hamptons are. Stayed here on 4/29 & 4/30 for a family weekend & wedding in the area. This was very much like most HI in the Hilton family. The breakfast was large with the traditional fare. However, the staff throughout our experience could not had been more attentive & helpful during our stay. I in turn made future reservations for my next time through for early in June for two rooms. I have requested adjoining rooms and they politely obliged my wishes. I appreciated all of their friendliness and would recommend this hotel to all my family & friends. read more

While the staff is usually polite and the rooms are pretty good, I got a rash from poorly washed bedding in my last stay there. The desk responded to my request to change the bedding with "how do you even know you got it from here?". Their cleaning leaves a bit to be desired. This hotel is, by far, one of the best hotels I've stayed in. I spent two weeks there during my trip home for the holidays and it felt like a home-away-from-home. The staff was amazing! Breakfast was a full offering of many items until 10 am in the lounge; coffee, tea and cookies were available daily; the hotel was always super clean, and the saltwater pool was the perfect temperature.
