He could not have been nicer or more welcoming. We encountered a housekeeper tending to our room when we arrived. She was also incredibly welcoming. Our room was spacious and spotless. It was quiet and comfortable. We enjoyed drinks at the bar in the evening. The bar tender on duty was working with a large crowd all by herself, but she didn't miss a beat. Everyone was taken care of in a timely fashion and she was very kind. My husband visits this area for work, and next time we come to town, there will be no other choice for us than this Courtyard Marriott. We really enjoyed our stay.

If I needed anything last minute, or if I requested the cleaning staff to come back at a different time, the hotel accommodated me. The only suggestion I have is to change up the breakfast options. Other than that, everything was great. The little hidden gem is behind the Bowie Town Center. It was funny because when I told my family where I was going to stay when visiting, they laughed thinking this whole time the hotel was a town house! That's how hidden they are. The hotel is clean, the staff are lovely and accommodating, the complimentary breakfast is nice, beds are super comfy, and the location is gorgeous tucked in behind the Bowie town centre with easy access to restaurants, takeout, and shopping. I like that the rooms have well-equipped kitchenettes and there are lots of storage solutions to put away your things for a longer stay, makes it feel very homey. I also like that they have a little store in reception to get snacks, frozen food, and drinks so you don't have to go out if you don't feel like it. My only complaint is that the dryers in the laundry never seem to work well, I always have to run the dryer 2-3 times before my stuff's actually dry, which gets expensive quickly at $1.50 per cycle! Overall though, great place and I definitely plan to continue staying here whenever I visit the area

I booked and paid for my stay expecting professionalism, comfort, and respect, but instead I was treated unfairly and dismissed by management. During my stay, I discovered a bug in my room and brought the concern to staff because cleanliness and safety should matter at any hotel, especially one operating under the Hilton brand. Instead of addressing the issue respectfully, the manager became defensive and told me that I "complained too much." Shortly after, I was denied my stay despite already paying. As a paying guest, I should never be made to feel punished for reporting unsanitary conditions. The way this situation was handled was extremely disrespectful, embarrassing, and unprofessional. Guests should be able to voice concerns without fear of retaliation or being removed. I've stayed at many Hilton properties before and this experience was completely unacceptable. I hope management and corporate leadership seriously review how customers are being treated at this location because no guest deserves this kind of experience.

There were lady bugs, stink bugs, and I saw a spider in the room. The furniture was archaic & not what I expected. The TV was hanging off of the frame. I felt myself looking around the room fearful that a bug was going to suspend from the ceiling, fall on me and start crawling. After one night, my husband requested a new room, and thank goodness they gave us a freshly renovated room. The room was still a little dated, but it just felt clean and comfortable. I was able to enjoy my stay after the switch. For context, I posted photos of the new room they gave us. The elevator is extremely slow, so I hope they are working on fixing that. If we didnt have the mishap with the first room, (for the price) I would give our stay a 4/5.

Pros: Upon arrival, the front desk staff was polite and helpful. Checking in was easy. I stayed in a queen bed room. My room had a microwave, fridge and office table. A/C was somewhat functional. Also, there are plenty of parking spots. There is a supermarket and some food spots across the street if you get hungry. Cons: The hotel looks run down. This building is not a smoking free environment. There's a strong tobacco smell. People are seen smoking outside. The toilet flush handle in my room was not working. The bed sheets are old and ragged. A/C works but it's very noisy and doesn't cool down the room that much. It worked like a fan at best. The fridge doesn't work properly. I put my water and beverages inside overnight and it's barely cool after 8h. The free internet didn't work for me on any of my electronics.

Our reason for staying... the Commanders football game was coming up. Everything was good check in and check out was a breeze the beds were comfortable we did dine here a time or two basic food but it hit the spot. Convenient to all of the stores, gas stations, restaurants etc. Everything was within driving distance from hotel. As soon as you walked in, the lobby was noticeably hot. The carpets had stain on them and it just felt muggy in there. After a long drive first thing everyone needs to do is use the restroom. Upon entering the bathroom I notice mold in the tub. The toilet seat was loose and shifting, hair on the sink and a huge stain on the wall. There were not anymore rooms available so we didn't have a choice at that point. We had just drove 8 hours and we were too exhausted. The pool was indoor but the water was a bit cloudy. There was also a big hole in the ground that a child can have a really bad accident if they stepped into it. Complimentary breakfast was the same everyday that we would just go for the coffee. Lady in charge of cooking the food would just sit and watch you get your breakfast. She would be in the same spot every morning just staring. It was kind of intimidating.
