I stayed here at the Hampton Inn with my family for the first vacation in one year. Hampton's have always provided good experiences and this was no different, even during COVID-19. I did get a great night sleep, the facilities are fantastic, and the hotel as a whole is extremely clean. The quality of sleep that you'll get here is great. My mattress was good and I had a less firm pillow which was fine for me. I will point out the sheets, especially the top comforter, were very comfortable. My Rating for this Category: 5/5 Next, the facilities. The facilities offered here are a pool with a hot tub and a fitness center. My family used the pool area. It was a decent sized pool with a nice hot tub so no problems here. My Rating for this Category: 5/5 Finally, cleanliness. The hotel really shines here. Our room was spotless. There were no bugs or hairs in either of the two beds. Also, the pool was the cleanest hotel pool I have ever swam in. My Rating for this Category: 5/5 For those of you who want to know if it is safe during COVID-19, it is. Some of the measures in place include: First, only one family/party allowed in the pool at a time. Secondly, To-go breakfast options with coffee. Thirdly, good sanitation measures are in place. Fourthly, in the lobby, there are social distancing stickers on the ground. Finally, plexiglass is installed at the front desk while employees wear face masks. For the one night we were here, it served the purpose well. The hotel was comfortable, the facilities were great, and the place was extremely clean. If I were passing through the area again, I would stay here again with no hesitations. read more

Do NOT stay at this hotel!!! My family and I spent one night there on July 4, 2026. My husband and I woke up the next morning to bedbug bites throughout our entire bodies. The amount of bites that caused pain, itching, and swelling was unbelievable and disgusting! We reached out to both Hilton corporate and to the hotel franchise owner and received zero response after sending them both emails with pictures and making multiple phone calls. We are Hilton Honors Gold members and due to the lack of response, care and compassion regarding this matter, we will no longer give Hilton our business. Do not patronize this business/hotel. It is not an upstanding, clean business. Take your business elsewhere where they actually care about their customers. read more

Enjoyed my stay on a cross country road trip with my dog. The hotel is pet friendly, very clear with pet fees and policy and gave us a pet welcome gift which was super cute! The location was safe, had plenty of green space for dog to play and was comfortable. Will definitely keep it in mind for future stays. read more

We arrived around midnight after checking into our room from the Hilton app (which I love). Picked a room from the first floor so I wouldn't have to deal with an elevator. Got our keys (no digital key yet at this facility). There was a foul smell to the hallway as I walked down the first floor hall. I opened the door and the room was so humid and cold. My kids said, "Dad, why are the sheets wet?" The A/C was cranked down to 67 and it felt like the humidity was around 98%. My son slept on top of the damp comforter and asked for a blanket out of the car. I did the same, because my daughter said that the sheets were damp when she crawled into the second twin bed. Even the carpet felt moist as I walked across it. My head was sticking to the pillow due to the moisture level. I am thinking that the air conditioner should have been removing the moisture from the air - guessing that this is the issue with the room. It is not humid outside so I can't suggest that this is the reason for the moisture in the air. The refrigerator that was in the room was an oversized model, which would have been great if we had needed all that space. It would have been better to remove the furniture unit to give us more floor space to walk. When I opened the fridge, it was hot inside and was dirty from the previous guest. Food waste remained and we closed it in disgust. My wife got in the shower and noticed a large collection of hair all over the tub and walls... not sure how the cleaning staff missed this doozy. I probably would have taken a picture but my wife washed it away in disgust. In contrast, the water pressure was great and the actual shower was good. Toilets flushed properly and the sink and mirror were clean. My family had a good breakfast and thought the quality and selection were excellent. The staff that we interacted with were friendly. The general manager seemed to be genuinely concerned. I have stayed at many Hampton Inn hotels and this room was below what I would consider minimum expectations, and the staff made up for the deficiencies. I stayed at this Hampton while on a road trip during the COVID-19 pandemic and stayed at a total of four hotels so I'm comparing this with other hotels facing very similar situations. I was traveling with my husband, three kids, and our small dog, so that's five of us plus a pet. First, every hotel asked the number of people and then suggested rooms that could accommodate us, so I assumed that's what I was booking here as well. Not so. Instead of the two queens plus a sofa bed or three queens we got at other hotels, this one assigned us a tiny room where the two queens and a desk took up most of the space. My daughter ended up sleeping on the floor. Next, there was no mention of a pet fee at booking. No big deal, we're used to showing up and paying $15-$25 for our dog. The $75 fee we were charged (surprise!) is something I have never encountered- that's like other hotels' penalty fee if your pet makes a mess. Third, the breakfast. They had removed their hot breakfast - ok, there's a pandemic, other hotels had modified theirs as well. But this was a paper bag you pick up at the desk. There was a Nutrigrain bar, a small cinnamon bread, and a bottle of water. WHAT? Given that we paid $100 more to stay here than we had paid at a hotel with hot breakfast, 3 queen beds, and a water park, my family was so dissatisfied. The reason it's two stars instead of one is the pool- it was the first place we encountered a pool that was heated to perfection. Hilton family, you know how to do it better than this. read more

Fairmont, MN Hampton Inn is amazing! Soft beds, clean rooms, flat screen tv with an enormous amount of channels, clean shower, great breakfasts, business center, pool, fitness center, and a nice lobby area with plenty of seating! The staff is uber friendly and will help you with whatever you need. Cost is around $130, which is the average for that area, but they also give discounts. I had no issue with anything there and would definitely stay again. I wish all my hotel stays were like this one! read more

Such kind people here. We hit a deer and were left without a vehicle, and the folks here were just great and made an otherwise bad situation bearable. The room was clean, as was the bathroom and even the washer and dryer in the laundry room was clean. Thanks to all of them! read more

We was passing through on the way back from our family vacation when we stopped here. We always check our rooms for bedbugs. We found a dead bedbug on top of the sheet after looking more we found a lot more. We left and will never go back. read more

I've stayed here many times for business. This time was for pleasure with my family. We moved our kids from Chicago to Montana. After a day of driving, it was nice to get off the road and rest in this very nice hotel. Started out in the morning, but there was a fresh blanket of snow, along with slick roads. The kids went off the road, so we all regrouped, and returned to the hotel. They were so nice as to give us our rooms back, and let the kids rest while we took care of the baby. After a late check out, we were able to continue on with our journey. Stop here on your journey - it's a wonderful place with the nicest people. read more
