I'd rate this location as a slight step up from your usual Hampton Inn. It's been recently renovated so the interior looks nicer but it could still use some work. There was a large gap in my door to the hallway and being on the third floor I was able to hear people above me. Luckily it wasn't too loud at night but just something to keep in mind. Bathrooms were clean and housekeeping came every other day. Breakfast was your typical hot buffet but they also had yummy fresh fruit of strawberries and grapes. The coffee was also bad though. Yuck. I didn't interact much with staff but they seemed friendly at check in. Decent stay but nothing to write home about. read more

Stayed here back in August 2025 for a work trip. My experience here was fine, typically what you'd expect from a Hampton Inn. My room amenities were adequate, parking is free, it is very close to the airport and within walking distance to a few restaurants (Hokkaido, Applebees, cattleman's) and stores. Breakfast included, on par with your typical offerings at Hamptons. Lobby was small, but updated and nice. Another nice perk was the shuttle service provided to/from the airport, I utilized this for a very early departure with no issues on timeliness. A few other in one group did have some concerns regarding carbon monoxide alarms going off and the pool was closed one night during my stay as fire department staff must have been investigating this concern. read more

Well, this Hampton Inn was an experience. It began with a front desk person telling us she was having a bad day. In fact she forgot to give us our Silver Club membership water, we had to ask. We found our room to be clean, but smelled a little musty. Not bad enough to leave but present. I noticed they had lots of scent machines throughout the facility. After dinner we went down to the pool. I wear gripper shoes in the water because I walk in pools for exercise. I hit the first step and went flying! The steps and bottom of the pool floor were super slippery. My husband made it in okay but was very careful. In order to leave it used a pool towel on the steps. We reported the fall and the slippery nature of the pool to both night and morning staff and were told, "they should have told you when you checked in". We'll, she didn't and her bad day resulted in me being bruised from the slide down the steps. I suggested a sign on the door and was told they couldn't because of the "assume your own risk" sign inside the pool room. We won't go back there. The bed was a bit like a watered, every time one of us moved,the other one woke up. read more

First, I am a Hilton diamond and have been for the last several years. So far this year I have stayed at Hilton properties for 55 nights. I am used to most travel hick-ups and normally roll with the punches. However, as is customary with most hotels, accommodations are made for people who stay and pay many thousands of dollars each year to a hotel chain. For the first time this year I had the occasion to have morning meetings and a late afternoon flight. Since I needed professional attire for my meetings and would prefer to fly more comfortably, I requested an extra hour to the posted check out time. This is usually granted with a smile or it's been declined due to a huge turnaround of rooms which I totally understand. Neither was what I was presented with. A laminated sheet of paper was shoved in my face and I was told I could certainly check out an hour later but I would be charged an extra $40 for the privilege. This is totally unreasonable and extortion. Especially to the people that keep hotels in business! I called Hilton corporate and was told this is not their policy but the franchisees make up their own. I will never stay at this property again and I truly hope you won't either. read more

This Hampton is in need of a remodel, not only in the property but in it's front staff that does the check- in, definitely more training. Utterly charming and empathetic young man at front desk. Exceptionally well informed about disabilities, what helps, what doesn't. Room is great. The lovely cotton linens and comforters stand out as always. It's quiet; you will get rest here. Liking things well so far. Unclear what the issue was. But the room started out at 78°. Was unable to get heat to turn down. Leaving fan on alone didn't help. Turned the whole system off and opened the window. (Went down to the 20s overnight.) It took hours to cool that room down. Never did get below 70°. Even overnight with the window open all night. Did not want to fuss with a repair. Hopefully someone can address that. read more

Staff at front desk are poorly trained. GM never returned a call and gave front desk staff a directive to comp Feb 20th and 21st stay after giving a man a room key that entered her room. While not the end of the world, front desk clerk Storm never apologized but instead told my wife she wasn't even suppose to be there. She had booked 3 nights with confirmation emails and printed copies. After over 2 weeks no refund for 2 of the 3 nights and no return calls. Be cautious staying at this unfortunately poorly managed hotel. read more

Called to confirm we had a pet, and were given a totally different price for the pet fee versus what Hilton/Hampton web sites said. When asked about that, we were told that they were "privately owned" (franchise) and that they didn't honor third party reservation prices. Wait. What? hilton.com and/or hampton.com are third party to them? Given that statement, what prices can you believe? Talked to Myla at the front desk, and did get a return call about the issue from Kate. Both were extremely adamant that they were right and I was wrong. Nothing I pointed them to on the websites made any impact, and Kate said, "I can show you where we can do whatever we want on that website." When I asked for her to do so, she said, "I'd have to look it up." Bottom line, this is over a few dollars. But the attitude of both has made me back away from staying at this location. I called Hilton - the agent there did call this 'bad behavior' and gave me a case number to pursue this policy disconnect further. read more

We found our stay here satisfactory. The breakfast bar was very nice, and even when my toddler spilled all over the floor, the wait staff was patient and pleasant toward us. (As a side note: Being somewhat of a grammar nerd, I also found some of the signs in their stairwells very amusing, especially considering how high-brow this hotel strives to be. Hampton Inns are my go to hotel chain when traveling for work and I had the same expectations I always have when staying with Hampton Inn; friendly service and good accommodations. Service was top notch, check is was a breeze and they already had my rewards number attached to my reservation. At the end of my stay my receipt was slipped under my door and checkout was completed. Wi-Fi is free for HHonors members and the signal strength was strong. Accommodations appeared to be the same as my other Hampton Inn stays until it came time to sleep. Walls are paper thin, every footstep in the hallway, running water from other rooms, doors closing all echoed loudly in my room. The mattress was uncomfortable and any form of sleep I got was in 10-20 minute intervals. When I come to Great Falls again I will be sure to stay somewhere else. read more

First of all I must say that I am a Hampton Inn fan. Whenever, I travel I always plan to stay at a Hampton Inn if there is one available. This Hampton Inn does not disappoint. It was clean, comfortable, and affordable. The complementary breakfast was good as well. The only complaint I would have it is that the indoor pool is somewhat small. The hotel looks like it has undergone, and is still undergoing, a renovation. Someone mentioned the smoke smell in a room. Now that we are here I've been into two rooms and smell not a bit of smoke. Now let me address one of the other reviewer's review. The reason is that I had the same complaint. I was going on and on about how it was the dumbest thing I ever saw that the curtain would not come all the way across the window. Fortunately for me I have a wife. She showed me the main curtains that you see are just for decorations and that hidden behind of the sheer is another curtain that is a black out curtain. I have including this hoping if anyone else can't figure out curtains like me that this will help. read more

You can't go wrong here. Located not too far from the airport it makes it an convenient location if you fly in late or have to take an early morning flight. The employees at check in are frienfly and efficient and will give you recommendations on stuff to do in town and how to get there (Buffalo jump, Russell museum, Lewis&Clark exhibit, how to get to the falls....). Rooms are clean; fitness center has the usual treadmill, elliptical and bike, enough to break a sweat if you wish to do so; computer and printer are available freely for you to use, free wi-fi in the building, decent breakfast with a hot offering and waffle, breads, juices, cereals, yogurt.... Basically the perfect place to stay when in transit in Great Falls with the family or on business, it works for everyone. read more

Super loud hotel - not loud people but thin walls. Can hear everything from doors close, toilet flush, people walking upstairs, coughing next door, and "adult relations". I stay at tons of hotels as I'm a business traveler and almost always stay at a Hilton Property but typically have "peace and quiet". I'm a heavy sleeper and was woken up about a dozen times through the night from normal noise activities. Staff is very friendly and rooms appear clean. Only room suggestion is a microwave. read more

They've had a "plumbing" issue they've been dealing with apparently but it took me some prying to find that out after I stayed in two totally different rooms that both had the faint smell of sewage. Yes, the doors in all the unoccupied rooms are left open in the am, which I've not seen before. I'm sure this condition won't be forever but if you are staying there anytime around the time of this post, reconsider. I might add that the staff here are nothing short of awesome and the hotel is new and clean. I'd give them a 4 star if it weren't for the awful smell in the rooms. read more

Good & Bad: Good: The hotel was clean and comfy. We got the "to go" breakfasts - OK. The wi-fi was acceptable. Bad: One staff member was obviously having a very bad day: Problem (a) She gave another customer the same room as mine - didn't even know this was possible. Thankfully we (the other customer) and I checked in at similar times, got to the door of the hotel room at the same time so were able to go back to the front desk to work it out before someone got a "surprise". Problem (b) The same staff member let herself into my room with a contractor to try to fix the cable box. Unfortunately, we were there. She didn't even have the decency to knock before letting herself in. (Good thing we were clothed!) Problem(c) Same staff member.... promised that I would have room rate reduced by 50% because of her mistakes but the morning staff could only reduce the room rate to the "lowest rate". I have to assume that this experience is not common. But if I were ever to stay here again, I would make sure and flip that deadbolt behind me when I enter the room! read more

Great Hotel. very clean and modern Decor. Comfy beds, great pool area. Awesome breakfast. My only complaint is that the fitted sheet would not stay on the bed. Ended up with it wrapped around my feet in the middle of the night, and I am NOT a restless sleeper. Seemed like the sheets were too smal for the bed. read more

Good clean hotel. It was located in a convenient place. We didn't have to go far to find a restaurant nearby. Although our room didn't have a microwave, I was able to find one in the breakfast room. The a/c in the room was either at full blast or not on at all, which was not ideal when you are sleeping near the vent. You could hear the planes from the nearby airport from time to time but it wasn't a big deal. Coffee and tea were available 24-hour in the breakfast room. It was handy because I needed something hot to drink as I couldn't stop coughing in the middle of the night. The staff members were friendly and helpful. We will definitely consider staying here again if back at Great Falls. read more

We stayed here while on a long road trip. This was a good solid hotel. The room was clean, the beds and pillows were comfortable, It had a pool and offered breakfast. Not sure if it had a guest laundry room available or offered movies on demand (for the kiddies who had been in the car all day). We would stay here again if in town. read more

I stayed at this hotel on June 8th 2015, the staff was very friendly and the room was very nice and clean.. The pool and hot tub was 24 hrs as well as the laundry facilities. The location is also great! It's right across from a large strip mall. The room was clean and comfortable. The price was pretty good too! read more

I can't believe they allow smoking in this hotel. What a big disappointment. I stay in hotels frequently and can't remember the last time I smelled cigarette smoke in a hotel. If not for smelling cigarettes in the hall on the way to my room, I'd have rated this a 4+, because it's terrific otherwise. read more

I was prepared to offer a much higher review. I made reservations but had a last minute personal call asking for us to make changes. I called the hotel in hour 64 - 8 hours too late for a free cancellation. However, I was told that it was not a problem and that if I did get charged to call back and the fees would be waved. This influenced my travel decisions and we changed our plans. Unfortunately, the charge came through and when I called back I was told that I called to late and nothing could be done and the person I had previously spoke to did not know what she was talking about. I travel quite a bit. I understand cancellation policies. However, I know they could have treated me better - especially after being told my fees would be waived. I don't plan on scheduling my stay here when we come back through next month. I cancelled another hotel for the following night with a competing chain in another town and had no problem. read more

Pretty standard for a Hampton - of which I am a fan and regular but, the staff, especially Patrick at the front desk, push this property up a notch. Due to an online booking error, probably my own, I was mistakenly booked into a smoking room (yes! they still have smoking rooms!). The hotel was fully booked but, within a few hours, they were able to move me to a non-smoking room. They were friendly and professional throughout. read more
