Very clean, great breakfast, polite and responsive staff. I had a great stay with no issues with noise in spite of construction.

Solid 4 stars. Although they are doing some construction the rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff were awesome. Dennis took great care of us at breakfast each morning. Breakfast options are about what you would expect from a free hotel breakfast. Make your own waffles, various hot food, oatmeal, fresh fruit, bagels, etc. They also have fresh baked cookies each afternoon at the front desk. The bed was comfortable and clean. Our only issue was that housekeeping failed to leave more TP/Kleenex and we ran out. Had to ask the front desk to make sure we got restocked. We had a King room...could use more drawer storage but it was a good room. read more

I'm making this review because the service we had here was 10/10. Free breakfast, happy hour from 530-730, and free parking are just a few of the great things about this hotel. It's walking distance to Applebees, Panera, or the Jamaican restaurant nearby and about 2 miles from post. Dennis, the morning manager really made our morning breakfasts great. He entertained our kids and gave them little prizes for our road trip. The pool in the back is small and so is the fitness room, but they both are just fine for what you need. Happy Hour: Michelob ultra on tap, Doritos, and trail mix all free. They also had milk and tea/coffee. read more

Checked in here late for Military Travel Shows. The hotel is located very close to the Fort Stewart main entrance, which makes it very convenient. Most Hampton Inns are similar, so don't need to make this review too long. The good: -Fitness Center: LOVED IT! Has only one treadmill and an elliptical but has everything rose you need for a full workout (adjustable bench, free weights, pulley machine, medicine balls, yoga ball, yoga mat). Also has towels, ice cold water and a tv with mirrors plus an adjustable a/c in it. I always give higher ratings for a nicely equipped fitness center. -Free breakfast (6am-10am): they have a juice station, breakfast burrito station, waffle making station, cereal, oatmeal, fruit and yogurt. Coffee is also close by. I didn't see any milk ‍. -Rooms: comfy bed and a pull out couch. Bathroom was nice, plus an oversized mini-fridge and microwave. Perfectly dark in the room too, which was great for sleeping. I only needed the room for sleeping. Oh, and it was ice cold in the room . This hotel also has a pool, and a recycling area by the elevator on third floor . The bad: Where's my waters for being a Hilton honor's member? Ok, maybe not the biggest thing to complain about but my son and I were thirsty when we checked in. I guess I'm used to getting a water at this point with my room. Oh well. Cost - $172/night? Tha fuq? Yeah, give me a break. Thankfully I'm expensing this but NO WAY do I pay that for a hotel in Hinesville, GA on my own dime. Now that I think about it, WHERE WAS MY BOTTLE OF WATER? Me and my sister came to stay one night and when we got here it smelled like something was dead in our room and we immediately check for bedbugs. Luckily we found none but we did both find big clumps of grey greasy black hair under our pillows and throughout our bed! In the bathrooms had weird brown and red stains all over it! it felt like our sheets were like wet and greasy. It had not been cleaned for months. There were fingerprints and handprints all over the mirrors. we found roaches and other disgusting bugs. so our overall experience was bad! I would not recommend staying here! read more

I stayed the night at the Hampton Inn Hinesville with a reservation, and it was the worst experience I ever had at a Hilton hotel. My wife always wipe down the items in the room to clean/sanitize the room, and this has been the first time she wipe the shelve under the sink where you can place items and the dirt on the shelve filled the wipe. I took a picture of the cloth and left it so housekeeping could see it. When I first entered the room the closet was open but the reason for that was the closet door would not stay latched unless you place something in front of it. To make matter worst when I checked out they charge me 63 dollar more than my reservation. read more

I wrote the following review on a different site for this hotel which doesn't look like the right one, so I'm posting it here. Traveling up from Florida and decided to give this location a try with points. Great deal. This is a very nice location. Small but, very clean. My favorite thing about Hampton is that there is always a clean duvet cover. Makes everything in the room feel clean. I was greeted very warmly by the front desk person and since I was able to check in early with the new Hilton App I went right to my room. The room is a good size room with a small couch. Also has a all frig, microwave and large HD TV. I also like the desk so I can sit and work on my computer. Also, a Panera Bread next door. I would definitely stay here again. read more

First of all, I am a gold member and upon checking in did not receive the benefits of being a gold member......such as water, snack, etc. The AC went out the night I arrived and I was told that they will give me another room and add some reward points for my inconvenience. That morning, they sent maintenance to fix the AC and the reward points were not added. The staff was ok, but not very upbeat like what I am used to when I check into a hamton. The breakfast is what you might expect from a hampton, but the variety was not there. The room was very average and not what I pre checked in for. I was told my room was on the first floor, but upon my arrival I was given a room on the third floor. Not happy with the service at all. read more

My name is Freddie Young. I have been a paying guest at the Hampton Inn in Hinesville Georgia a few times. It has come to my attention that an employee of the Hampton Inn in Hinesville Georgia has been spreading rumors in regards to me. I was under the impression that when someone stays at a hotel that information it's private. This employee has given out my name and told people that I was smoking in a room. I have never been charged for smoking in a room, so all I can assume is that these are scandalous rumors and lies that she has spread across social media platforms. I have screenshots of a long Facebook post that have my first and last name in them that were posted by said employe (Christina). The employee's name is Christina. I want her terminated immediately. Not only has she lied on me, she has jeopardized my privacy as a paying patron and compromised the integrity of Hampton Inn in general. When I come to town, I do not want people to know where I am. I thought that staying in a hotel with guarantee my privacy. But, when Christina is working that is not guaranteed. I also work with an exclusive clientele and they will not feel comfortable coming to location if they feel that the employees will be giving out their information. They tried to run my card over a week early and then cancelled my reservation. The place isn't convenient to anything. I was panhandled in the parking lot. There was absolutely nothing remarkable about this place. I wouldn't stay here again. read more

Just your standard Hampton Inn! Nothing special really stood out about this place. I stopped here on my way down to Florida and this was the closest hotel I could find to my stopping point, Savannah, that had a government rate. Overall, the place was very nice and modern. I assume that this is one of the newer Hampton Inn's. The clerk for the night shift was not the nicest or most welcoming lady. She had an attitude of "BE QUICK! I want to sleep and NOT work!" When I got the room, it was a little beaten up, already! In addition, I was next to the elevator, of which was noisy at times. The beds were not the comfiest, but I guess they could be worse. I decided to stay for breakfast at 6am before hitting the road again. It was not the most appetizing meal and somewhat bland overall. If you leave earlier than 6am or skip breakfast and go somewhere else, you won't miss a thing, except a mediocre breakfast. Would I recommend this place to others? Maybe... If you can drive an extra couple miles from 95 and can deal with mediocre, than yes. If you can't deal with either, then no. read more

On August 5, 2016 I checked into Hampton Inn in Hinesville ga. I specifically asked the young lady that checked me could I use my debit card to check out on sunday. She assured me that would not be a problem. I checked out on August 7th and was told by a manger named meka, that they ran all of the cards last night and that my credit card was charged already. I let her know that I was told that I could use my debit card. She told me they do that do that. So now I'm out of my cash back bonus through my debit card because I was told incorrect information. I'm very disappointed with the dishonest workers at your establishment. Also the elevator at this establishment is not working properly. We were stuck on the elevator 5 separate times more than 3 minutes before the door would open. There's a sign in the elevator that's says there's a slight delay. 3 minutes is not a slight delay. The sign is in the elevator and not outside the elevator so the first time we got on it we were not aware of this inconvenience. I will not stay there again. Shame on you Hilton. read more

We're HHonors members so we stay at Hilton brands for the most part. Visiting Hinesville we stayed at this property. The interior is clean and the check-in process was fine, not great, but sufficient. We weren't greeted as recognized Diamond members so that was a little bit of a let down. The room had a strong scent of air freshener, smelled like I just came through a car wash and they sprayed a ton of smell-good. We called to see if there were any other rooms that didn't smell so strong, but no luck. This place is okay but it wasn't a great experience. It was a decent place. I'm not sure if we'd stay again or opt for somewhere else. read more

Since I joined the HHonors program I would always try finding a hotel that topped my stay in Miami. Well I finally found that hotel. Whenever I am in the area I come to this hotel. From the time i checked in to the time i checked out, the staff is oh so friendly and kind. I was having a horrible day and the worker (Ebony) behind the counter went out of her way to make my day better. She helped two customers at one time and her professionalism and courtesy made my day better. She definitely deserves an accolade for what she do. The breakfast was good every day and the staff made sure the food was fresh and always plentiful. Ill be back in two weeks and im already excited about my stay. read more

I stayed here for two weeks in June and then another three weeks this month! I had no issues either time and the staff was super nice! They al remembered me when I can back and the hotel had great customer service. The lady who worked during breakfast was super sweet and always very helpful! I loved the access to Panera Bread and that they aren't too far from Fort Stewart. The location made the commute to and from work bearable. I also loved that they partner with the YMCA to allow guests to use the facility to work out and take classes....for FREE! Just head over to the YMCA and fill out a hotel guest pass form and you're all set! Even though there's not much to do in Hinesville, this trip was very bittersweet! I enjoyed my stay and would recommend anyone! read more

This is not a military friendly hotel. The manager was extremely rude with me for asking for the tax exemption given to federal employees on federal business per Georgia Tax Law. She stated "it's not my problem." I have never been treated so poorly and am disgusted with her behavior. I like Hampton Inns but the quality varies from property to property. I make sure to check each property's reviews before booking and this one received lots of good reviews elsewhere, though the few reviews it has here are somewhat lackluster. This property ranks as a good one though there were some annoyances. Check-in was brisk and efficient, but I felt like I'd interrupted something. They provide three luggage carts, which is a huge convenience I don't find everywhere. The room was clean, the sheets and duvet were clean and fresh, there were ample towels and the provided soap was Neutrogena. A little stingy on outlets around the bed, but the desk had enough to get a couple of devices plugged in. The fridge is more of a mid-sized one than the usual mini. There was a microwave in the room, but all the cups are labeled "do not use in microwave," so unless you bring your own cups and plates I'm not sure how useful that is. Our room was cold when we got into it, so I bumped the thermostat up and turned the fan down. After fooling with it for a while I gave it up and the room stayed cold - the thermostat read 68 degrees and I had it set for 79. I didn't report it while I was there because I didn't want to change rooms after a long drive. Besides, that's why they make duvets. The happy hour (5:30 - 7:30) consisted of two bottles of wine (1 red, 1 white) and a kegerator of Bud Light (I think). The white wine was empty before 7 and no one replaced it. The red and the beer held out to the end. A bit disappointing there because my wife drinks white. Vended drinks run $1.75 for 20 oz. bottles. Bring your own snacks. The price was better than all the other Savannah area Hamptons, so it was worth the extra 14 miles to get to it for me. I'll likely stay here again when I come back to visit the Mighty 8th Air Force museum about a half hour up the road. read more

Upon arrival they greeted us with 2 bottles of water and told us about the free breakfast and the happy hour during the weekdays. We have been here for three nights and will end our stay tomorrow morning. Every day, there is a new breakfast menu, newspaper, and kind folks to greet us! Our room's been lovely, clean, and comfortable. It's so wonderful to stay somewhere when everyone takes their job as a joy and acts as if they really want to be there! Only down side was that our refrigerator clunked on - ran (hummed) loud - and clunked off. It makes the room feel dated, but not sure that's fair, the strong just makes us feel like I walked into a $40 quick stop hotel room, not the impression I typically get from a Hampton. The breakfast is surprisingly good! They have smoothies,pressed juice, pre-made omelettes, maple sausage and breakfast potatoes along with the "traditional" cereal, waffle, fruit, and yogurt I'm sure most people are accustomed to from a value hotel complimentary breakfast. The coffee bar has flavored creamers, light and dark roast coffee also decaf and hot water for the tea they provide. It's an older hotel but well worth the $94 spent to stay here for a night. It was clean and the sheets didn't smell bad like some hotels I've had the misfortune of staying at. The only reason I'm not giving a 5 star is because my room was FREEZING when I arrived (it was 58' outside and my room thermostat said 60') and I could hear every car to drive past my room all night and that effected my sleep. First floor should maybe have energy efficient windows installed. Helps with the sound and would help the room temperature stay maintained. read more

I stayed 5 nights as part of a two week business trip in SE Georgia. I found the staff to be extremely helpful and the GM, Margit, to be very friendly and concerned that my stay would be pleasant. I had a lot of work to do over the weekend and inquired at the front desk after settling in if they might have a better desk chair. The Front Desk staff, Tonya, immediately responded to my request bringing a chair with adequate height to my room. What more could I ask? I found the room very comfortable and the desk functional. The breakfast selection was the Hampton usual, but I found the quality of the fruit and oatmeal a little below the standard, but okay. I would certainly stay here again and would recommend the hotel to others. read more

As part of the Hilton chain this property is neat, clean and orderly. It's sits right on Oglethorpe highway it is impossible to miss being located directly next to a Panera and for my first time seeing it, a Panera with a drive-through. The only reason I didn't give this property five stars was because of the Hilton honors parking spots for diamond members that take up almost all of the spots in the front of the property. I have several thousand points accumulated and still have a ways to go to achieve this status. Otherwise this is a nice hotel to stay at if your in the area. read more

Hands-down the worst hotel stay I've ever had. I'm a Hilton Honors member and have a good idea of what sort of quality to expect at their line of hotels. I realize Hampton Inn isn't going to be a 5-star property. However, I do expect to be able to get a decent night's sleep at one. That was impossible at this hotel. When I checked in, the front-desk person was chatting away with a couple friends. I seemed to be interrupting their good time. He flew through his spill about check-out time and breakfast and so forth in about 30 seconds. Honestly I have no idea what he said. He handed me the keys and went back to his conversation. The room was clean enough but there were still many things that I found unacceptable. The doors are apparently paper-thin, and one of our fellow hotel guests deemed it appropriate to slam their door repeatedly throughout the night. Finally, on our last night, the manager was able to step in and take care of that problem. Unfortunately that didn't help me get much sleep for the previous two nights. The refrigerator in our room made such a racket that we ended up unplugging it. The air conditioner was very loud and kicked on and off constantly. There was no way to keep the fan portion running on it to avoid the noise of it turning on and off. The mattresses on the bed were different from those I've slept on at other Hampton Inns. They needed replacing. There was also a leak under the sink in our bathroom. And finally, there were a couple times we nearly got stuck in the one elevator on the property. As someone with claustrophobia, that was especially stressful. Overall, I'm very sorry I wasted my Hilton Honors points staying at this property. You couldn't pay me to return. read more

Stay away from this hotel if you care about your belongings. My brand new dress was stolen from my room while I was at a funeral. Management there say my security is not their concern. They simply do not care! The General Manager has not called me to offer restitution. There are much better places to stay in Hinesville. read more

Disappointed to say the least. It's not the Hampton Inn/Hilton standard I'm use to. At check in I waited 10-15 mins for assistances even after ringing the "assistance" bell. Finally after conversing with another waiting customer I went and located the attendant that was on duty. This should of been my first clue to leave! Upon opening the door to my room, I was immediately smacked in the face with a musty/mold mildewed smell. I asked the front desk to be to relocated to a different room and was told the hotel was completely sold out, and that was that. Again not the Hampton Inn/Hilton experience I'm use to. This is what I expect from a hotel were you have to give deposit for the tv remote or renting the room by an hourly rate. read more
