We recently stayed at the Fairfield Inn and had a great experience. We decided to stay in one of the suites to give our 3 year old a little more space. The room is very spacious, it had 2 tv's allowing my child to watch what she wanted, as well as what we wanted. I picked the room because it had a refrigerator, the microwave was definitely a bonus and of course the coffee maker is a must. The hotel serves breakfast daily. We were happy to see Hot waffles, oatmeal, English muffins, cold cereal, fresh fruit, eggs, sausage, bacon and so much more. The pool was such a great addition especially in the 98% humidity. My family members who stayed in nearby hotels, said the pools at their hotels was not as big. Another special addition to the property is the pond. There's a nice patio area that overlooks this feature, which houses turtles, fishes, catfish, ducks, and other little guests. It was such a pretty area worthy of many pictures. Last but definitely not least the staff. We found that our interaction with all staff members were always pleasant. We especially want to give a shout out to Justin at the front desk. We have stayed at a number of hotels, but not one have greeted us each time by name. Whether it was early in the morning or late at night Justin would always say, Mr and Mrs last name, how's your day or enjoy your day. The simple gesture of just remembering who we were and making a simple acknowledgement holds extremely high on personal touches of Amazing customer service. Thank you Fairfield Inn. It's cozy, convenient to Ft. Stewart and nearby restaurants, and the staff is nice. All rooms come with a fridge and a microwave, which is convenient as well. Breakfast is pretty good too and they always have hot tea downstairs if you want it. I find it strange though that they don't give you any body lotion as part of the toiletries in the bathroom. Usually they have some at the front desk but this is the only hotel I've stayed in where it wasn't standard in the room. Maybe I'm old school and that's just what the kids are doing these days... As with all Marriott hotels I have stayed over the years I was looking for good hotel when I visited the area. This hotel is categorized as an Inn to be equal to Holiday Inn Express but in my opinion it is better than HIExpress. Beautiful decor and very friendly staff makes all the difference to anyone staying at this hotel. Conveniently located within restaurants and gas stations, I was at ease when I got here. In fact the Applebee's is just in front of this hotel, which I will be reviewing as well for their good food and service. One thing I was a bit disappointed was the breakfast. The scrambled eggs they had at the hotel was not good at all. It tasted very artificial. In fact it didn't even taste remotely close to eggs. Other than that, the selection is good. My kids loved the waffles. If in the area, I would definitely recommend staying at this hotel. The rooms and the surrounding area were very clean and very well maintained. The hotel itself is a standard Fairfield Marriott it's got a decent breakfast and the rooms are nice, they charged me an extra night that I wasn't there I should have been checked out a day earlier then what they did and they won't refund it so because of that I will make sure no one in my area of Training and Fielding for the Department of Defense will ever stay at this hotel again and I have 1358 nights in Marriotts but I'll stay at the Holiday Inn across the street next time I am there in a couple months and so will all my coworkers! read more

Want Bed Bugs? Stay here! OMG! My boss and a co-worker (2) rooms stayed 9/20/16. Room 311, at first the key didn't work had to return to front desk to get second key. Second key worked started to check room discovered water leaking from AC unit about five feet into the room. Call the front desk they put her in room 104. Checked into room 104 started checking bed immediately found bed bug nymph First Stage on corner of bed. Captured a live nymph on a piece of tape, called the front desk and had Cindy come to the room. Presented on tape to her with legs still moving. Closed tape over insect so she had proof. Moved her to room 111. Cindy watch her inspect bed and Cindy had a bed bug 101 lesson since she did not know what they look like. Room also has mildew odor but does not appear to have bed bugs. Then, her coworker next day showed my boss evidence of Bed Bug infiltration with dead skins and feces. Next morning, there were bills under the door at both rooms. Called GM, Steve. Very rude. No sympathy and actually said.....AND I QOUTE, "Thanks for bringing me Bed Bugs." OMG Don't stay here ever! I called Marriott Corporate and registered a "formal" complaint. After all this, I found out he finally issued a credit for 1 room, 1 night. Just be careful. Check the beds!!!!!!!!!! read more

This place is disgusting there were boogers on the pillows, the beds weren't made when we first got the room, and the toilet had shit still in it. We literally left the hotel after 15 minutes so disgusted with our stay and the hotel manger was not listening to our complaints like he already knows it's that dirty and he didn't care just offering us free stay to stay quiet but honestly I wouldn't give it any stars. We made a reservation to see our son and his family on 3Sep. However, my husband started feeling bad after finding out that few of his co-workers tested positive with Covid. Then our youngest son was exposed to COVID-19 as well with his co-worker that he rides with everyday tested positive. My husband and our son took the covid test but something happened with the system and my husband didn't get the result for his first test. He went for a 2nd test and we were getting concerned coz 2Sep, we still do not have the result. We don't want to take a chance of spreading the virus to every people we are going to be in contact especially the guests of the hotel and our son and his family. I called the Front Desk of Fairfield Inn and because we were within cancelation that they charged my card for the 1 night stay and I didn't get any points for that charge. I can't believe that Marriott penalized people when they cancel due to covid exposure. I like Marriott brand but after this experience, I will no longer stay with their brand. What happened to customer service? What if my husband tested positive and we still travel and end up passing the virus to someone who has a health complications? Stayed here for two nights. Everyone from the front desk to the breakfast attendant was very pleasant and friendly. Great customer service. The lobby was nice as well as the hallways. The room was decent, seemed clean enough. That is UNTIL the last day when a MASSIVE roach popped out to bid me farewell. A roach that big had to have been living the good life in Fairfield for awhile, and where there's one roach you'll find plenty more. So yea, they have roaches. You've been warned. read more

Only stayed here one night, so I can't review what it is like to stay here for a longer period of time. However, it was fine. The "suites" were definitely small and probably should not be called suites. They were comfortable to sleep in, but that is about it. For a family of five, it is definitely cramped. We did love the receptionist at the front desk, she was very sweet and accomodating. Breakfast was delicious- one of the better hotel breakfasts I've had. But for me, the best thing about this place is their pond! As an animal lover, I geeked out upon seeing the turtles and the ducks! You even get to feed them, which made for a fun hour outside with the family. Just be warned that the ducks are little...violent with each other. We left the next morning, but not before my dad and I got to take a peaceful walk around the pond, bathed in half-sunlight and half-shade. It was beautiful and just what we needed before what was going to be a long day of driving. I would stay here again. read more

I had an issue with a previous hotel so I went to Holiday Express and another one right before it. I can't remember the name right now. Anyways, my issue with the previous hotel is I had called before driving 5 hours to get here to see if they did early check in. I was told yes but upon arriving was told no. I then came to Fairfield and asked if they did early check in. Not only did Stephanie did an exceptional job assisting me but I was able to get a room right away and only paid for one night unlike the other hotels that wanted to charge me two nights. She was speedy, nice and friendly. I am extremely happy with my room which was clean, and cozy. I paid more then I wanted but with my situation it was worth it. THANK YOU STEPHANIE!!
