The parking spaces were more than large enough for my Toyota Rav4 rental, which is bigger than you'd think! The lobby bathroom was the perfect place to cool off after a long road trip. The chair in the room was so comfy that I didn't even need the bed. I slept great in it. I forgot to check out before leaving, and felt horrible about it. Hopefully they allow me to return. Well they are renovating and didn't tell guest. You can't use the pool , second floor , or even laundry. I checked in coming from Texas for my brother's wedding. My reservation was from Thursday-Monday but we had a family emergency back in Texas so I had to leave. I checked out Saturday and they did not want to give me a refund for the days I didn't stay. They didn't even try to give like one day....very. very, diappointing. They have dust everywhere, loud in the mornings. What a let down and Alamo car rental even gave a refund so I thank you alot. But Hampton don't have to ever worry about me staying with them again. read more

I wanted to give this place four stars, but FOR THE PRICE it should be much nicer. It's clean enough and the room is nice enough. The sheets are rough and the hotel is in disrepair, though. The air conditioning in our room wouldn't go off. There was no way to change the setting, the box on the wall did nothing. I'll start off by saying that if you care about a clean room, particularly the bathroom, do not stay here. I gave them a second chance and the bathroom, both times, had hair everywhere. Do yourself a favor and do not look underneath the bathroom sink. I happened to drop my comb, which fell underneath the vanity and it looked like it had never been swept - like ever. I was traveling west to Seattle and stayed here along the way. It wasn't until I got home a few days later, that I realized that I left a shirt in the room. I called the hotel but they said it wasn't in the list and found. They would call if they found it. A few days later Lindsay called to say that they had found it and would mail it to me. I stayed here for 3 nights this past weekend with my wife. We arrived to this Hampton in after 11 PM on a Friday night and checked out around 8 AM on Monday morning. During our stay everyone that worked here was very nice to us and always made sure to say hi. Our room here had a king sized bed in it which was comfortable. My wife loved that they had both soft and firm pillows for each side of the bed as she loves the former ones. Other than that it had a nice sized bathroom and a refrigerator. At night I only heard other guests through the door (I have found this to occur at nearly every hotel) and had no problems sleeping. If I had any complaint about the room it would be that it was dated. That didn't really bother me though as it looked and felt clean. The only amenity that I used while at the hotel was the breakfast area. If you have been to a Hampton Inn recently you probably already know what it looks like as it is very similar to almost every other one that I have been too. The coffee here was always hot and the standard Hilton food was as well. What really drew us to this hotel in addition to the free breakfast was its location. It is right off of I-70 and happened to be centrally located to where we needed to go. The bottom line for me is that I would stay here again in the future. I thought that the location was great and the rooms felt clean even if they were a little tired. read more

Absolutely enjoyed my stay here during a pandemic. Room felt so nice and clean. You can tell they care about the safety of their guests. First I've ever seen a hotel take measures this high. Slept great! Staff was friendly upon checkout this morning. Me and my boyfriend are driving through Kansas to Cali. This stay made quite the impression. Highly highly recommend people to stay here if you want your safety to be a priority. Didnt go through my whole disinfecting procedure here. Didn't feel necessary. For a hotel in the middle of Kansas nowhere, I was beyond impressed! The employees were friendly, the decor was lovely and modern and everything was spotless! This Hampton Inn went above and beyond in my opinion with cleanliness. There were sanitizing wipes in the room, the remote had been sanitized and in plastic and even all the breakfast items were prepackaged for safety. Dirty, dirty, dirty... we stayed there because the Hampton reputation is very good, but this one was nasty. I didn't even want to shower because the bathroom was just gross. The bedding all appeared disheveled and our door did not lock properly. We actually had another guest randomly walk in our room when we were getting ready to leave. Would not recommend at all. Next time we travel home we will stay in Manhattan even though it's a drive because I refuse to pay for this nastiness again. read more

Hampton Inn Junction City had great service, clean rooms, and a fresh & clean breakfast. I agree with another review that stated it is a bit dated but I didn't mind that at all. If you have trouble sleeping next to an Interstate, I wouldn't recommend it because it is very close to I-70 and can be a bit loud from the traffic. If you're traveling, this is a great hotel to hop off the Interstate, catch some Z's, and get back on the road in the morning with a full stomach. read more

Just seemed like we had some mediocre stays recently, hence the low but honest ratings. Anyway, the place was very clean, smelled nice (fresh, not gross, nasty deoderant spray) and it's the little stuff that really matters (to me!)... I was looking for some tea and the front desk nice lady (so sorry I forgot her name but it was the night of 16 October) said she'd get me mint tea and look for anything I wanted and would get me a bottled water if I wanted it. I found some nice apple spiced tea and didn't need bottled water but she was soooooooo kind!! The bed was comfortable and the comforter was really soft and felt nice. Sheets were so clean but not fake smelling clean... Just nice and crisp. And YAY fluffy towels and enough that I didn't have to ask for an extra one to dry my hair!! LOL. I wasn't much for breakfast in the morning because we ate late and A LOT at the local yummy Cracker Barrell but that was OK because they had to go breakfasts! Awesome! And they didn't even care if you had breakfast.. they said just take it! So, that's what I mean when I say it's the little things. Charge $3 more for a room and have an assortment of coffee, tea and maybe some fruit or cookies in the lobby, a couple of Waters in the room or available for free and how much does a simple bagged breakfast cost? I'm searching for a hotel (I'll pay $3 extra!) that has fountain drinks and popcorn in the lobby! I mean, how much do fountain drinks cost... 3 cents for like 16 oz? :) read more

Good for the price and location. We were super lucky to get a room here -- we came on the graduation of multiple high schools and colleges and got here at 1 am after trying 7 other hotels. We were very pleasantly surprised. The staff were very nice, the room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The breakfast was very decent for a free cheap hotel breakfast. Given its location in rural Kansas, I was very impressed. read more

I stay at Hampton inn's a lot and the customer service here was better than most. They were happy and quick to give us extra pillows and towels, unlike other hamtons. But what really brought them down for me was the cleaning. The bathroom was clearly not very heavily cleaned. The toilet was disgusting. That is a pretty big part for me. But this hotel chain is normally very consistent and a great place to stay. read more

As of 9/1/2010 this is a brand new hotel. I have given a 3 star rating pending the completion of this hotel. Amenities are still being added. The rooms are of a good size and have good sized bathrooms. My room has a flat screen tv and a king sized bed. Due to being a new location the rooms is still missing a fridge and a microwave, but that should be remedied soon. The staff has been nice, friendly, and helpful. The breakfast is the regular Hampton Inn fare, therefore they have the Bagel Toppers! Even though this location is a work in progress, what is done is up to Hampton Inn standards. I have been here for a weeks so far with another week to go. On my next trip to Junction City, I will start looking for a hotel room at this Hampton Inn. read more

I have worked at a nice Walt Disney World hotel and a DoubeTree back home, so I have pretty high expectations on customer service and the property itself. I was not disappointed with my stay here! At check-in we were welcomed with a warm smile and thanked for being HHonors! Every staff member when came across (from check-in to the breakfast attendant to the housekeeper we ran into in the hall) greeted us with a smile and a hello! Our room was CLEAN and quiet! Wi-fi was reliable. We were have a stupid moment, but the nice gal that checked us in was courteous and efficient on helping us get it fixed so we could watch our favorite tv show. The only thing I wish was different was a few more gluten free selections for breakfast. I was able to find have some coffee, fruit, and yogurt; however, wished there was something with a little more substance to get us though the next leg ignore road trip. We stay at Hampton Inns all the time. I was not thrilled with the cleanliness. The toilet had not been cleaned. There was fresh poo around the bowl. So gross. It made wonder what else was not cleaned which affected my ability to enjoy our short stay. We also were not given our HHonors welcome water and treat. There was one kind employee that got us extra pillows and towels. Overall a poor experience. Hotels must do one thing right for me....cleanliness. read more

We stayed here on Valentines Day wkend 2011. It was a brand new hotel so we figured "this sounds like a good place to stay for v-day". Ummm NO! (note..my husband had just gotten back from IRAQ and wanted a special V-day) The hotel is nice looking, which I would expect bc its NEW. When we got to our room we couldnt get the door to open. The card was working but the door was stuck!! My husband had to throw his shoulder into the door to get it to open. We also specifically wanted a suite with a jacuzzi bath tub. This room was so small, its smaller then my kitchen!! Ive stayed in 2 star hotels with more room then this one. We then wanted to go swim so we left our room..of course, the door sticks and wont close. Again my husband had to slam it 8 times to get it to shut!! On the way down we stopped at the front desk, I told the young man what was happening, expecting maybe he would move us to another room..nope, he didnt even offer. I was standing in my swim suit so I told my husband "i'll deal with it more after the swim, lets just try to enjoy this time" We go to the pool and there are 5 young men (about 21 if that) jumping in and out of the pool having a BEER PARTY. SO we had to go to the hot tub..the tub had so much chlorine that my eyes started burning and I could not see. They went completely blood shot, my skin started to itch. Not only that but the other guys were causing a chlorine fog in the pool area from jumping around. We left, went back to the front desk and I said "look at my eyes, there is too much chlorine in there, and there are also people drinking, throwing a party". And he still did NOTHING. We went upstairs, packed our bags and LEFT within 2 hours of checking in. WE got our money back that night and will NEVER EVER recommend anyone stay there again. I also called the next day and the women who I assumed is a manager was just as mundane as the young man who worked the night before. The rooms are average hotel rooms. The breakfast is great! 2 kinds of waffle batter, choices of syrup, fresh squeezed juices, fruit smoothies, eggs, sausage, biscuits, among many other things. Ample seating in a pretty lounge. Disliked their shower. Only 1/2 the water comes out of the showerhead. The other half continues to flow through the faucet not matter what you do. Stayed here on my trip to CO from VA. I initially stopped an exit up and wanted to stay at the Holiday Inn but they were full. I called the Hampton Inn and they had a room available for me. I had stayed in a Hampton Inn in Indiana and it wasn't very clean at all so I was hesitant to give this chain another go. Glad I did! The hotel was clean and the staff friendly.
