I actually enjoyed this winery. Found it by accident while driving through Kansas. It was fall so it wasn't in the "pretty" season with green grape leaves, but you could see how beautiful it is when its grape season in the vineyards. I loved all the wonderful spacious seating as well as as the huge fireplace. On warm days there are also great outdoor seating. Loved that there was a variety of wine there to chose from. Service was great. The people there took their time to explain the different wine and ciders. And the food choices were awesome. They really need a bigger sign on the main road, but otherwise this was a great stop on our tour of Kansas. read more

Here for an event tonight and I absolutely LOVE this place! The views are fantastic. The swallows flying around are really cool. And because it's the summer of 2024, the cicadas were singing loudly in the trees. The building itself is very modern with spacious and inviting indoor seating as well as ample patio seating outdoors. There is a vast selection of wines, beers, and ciders on tap. I thoroughly (and by thoroughly I mean three bottles worth!) enjoyed the apple pie cider and bought a 4-pack to take with me back to Iowa. The service was outstanding as every server I interacted with was friendly and knowledgeable about the products. Prices are very reasonable. May have to stop in again before heading back home in a couple of days! read more

We were visiting our family in Kansas and wanted to try some of the local wineries and found Liquid Art. This establishment is located on the beautiful country side. When we walked in we felt immediately welcomed and the atmosphere was very inviting. The staff were very friendly and helped us out with our selections. The place is ideal for dates, family outings and even weddings! I ordered the Winemaker pizza and one of the staff members recommended the 20/20 Cabernet Sauvignon and it was a delicious pair. The pizza has delicious goat cheese and artichoke. My wife loves Margarita-style pizza and their Boss lady pizza is the closest to a Margarita pizza. She loved the Boss lady and the cheese was perfectly cooked with bits of tomatoes. The Dave and Dani Cherry Limeade is very delicious and pairs well with the Boss lady pizza. The pizza was so delicious we had to order the Three Little Pigs pizza and that was equally as delicious. We will definitely be back to try more of their wine, ciders and pizzas! read more

Beautiful location, gorgeous building, great wine...what else could you ask for? Four of us went to enjoy the fall weather outside and do a tasting. Our favorites was the Sauvignon blanc, and Cabernet. We also enjoyed the watermelon wine. They have indoor and outdoor seating and offer artisan pizzas for food options. We ordered the bbq chicken, the boss lady and the supreme. All three were solid choices and super tasty. They offer corn hole and bocce ball outside games, and the inside has comfortable seating and a fireplace for colder days. Nice place to enjoy time with family and friends. What a great Venue, beautiful location and like everything in Kansas it is a drive but this is one drive you will want to make. They have a beautiful seating area inside and they have the best outdoor seating area with lots of Cliff Sparrows flying around. They have Bocci Ball, Cornhole, Board Games. beautiful view, quiet and Good Lord some of the best pizza, through in some pleasant wine, and you have the makings of a great day! When we first got the Jo who was buried and bless her heart she was awesome and actually called in back-up in the form of Sharon and like the Avengers they tagged teamed the heck out of what needed to be done and not a sad face in all the customers. Driving down Wildcat Creek Road, one would never imagine a breathtaking setting with a winery and event venue on top of a hill. I never knew this road was there until I headed to Liquid Art for the first time. It transported me away from Kansas for a moment, as the views are very beautiful and could have been anywhere. On both of my visits, I have ordered the wine flight (choice of 5 to taste). The first time I visited, I came with Carla M. and ran into several people I knew. We wandered outside as a wedding was starting, which was a cool thing to see. This past weekend, Eric R. and I met Kristin M. and David M. (friends from Vegas who also moved here). Kristin M. and I got wine flights, David M. got a cider flight, and Eric R. got both flights! The special cider (pint only) was Cranberry Almond, so I may have to go back to try that soon. After likely having the same wines both visits based on my preferences, my favorite is the seyval blanc. Kristin M. got a bottle of Grenache to take home, so I did try the Grenache and though I don't drink a lot of red, it was easy to drink. The owners are very friendly, and we spent time chatting with Danielle before touring the event venue. I know my students have had a social here and it is a very popular place to relax and unwind on the weekend. Liquid Art is a great addition to the area. read more

What a beautiful spot! The beverages were delicious and at a very great price. I ordered a flight of wine with 4 tastings, a glass of cider and a glass of wine all for $20. Picture perfect scenery and very relaxing. My only issue is the room to order your beverages is very small and cramped. There were many people with very large crowds and small events the day I went so we had to wait inside a small jam packed room each time we wanted to order. This was a Saturday so I would suggest going on a weekday if you have the option. read more

The ciders were very good, the wines decent and the space is beautiful. That being said we stood at the counter for awhile before we were acknowledged. Then after being told nothing if the wines but a lot about the owner and his eye surgery we were given the wrong pours. I ordered all whites but had a red on my plate. Our other two plates had a couple wrong pours as well. The gal was clearly in over her head trying to do 3 plates. We would go back but hopefully with a different server at the helm. read more

The patio area is very relaxed place to hang out with a great view of the Flint Hills. Inside the tasting room was very inviting and cozy. This was a pretty busy place, but the staff was very welcoming and provided excellent service. We tried the wine sampler. You get to chose 4 wines from their list. They also hard cider on tap. I tried their seasonal "Dave's Apple Pie". Bottles of wine cost between $14 and $24. We left with a bottle of the Moscato. read more

If you want a unique outing filled with the beauty of the flint hills this is a great experience. I'm not really a wine person however the ones I've tried were perfect with my gourmet pizza. We went to a comedy show knowing the weather could turn bad and of course it did. Besides the wonderful scenery, the real show was the storm rolling in. Up on the top of the hills with three walls of windows we all watched unbelievable clouds, lightening and a beautiful rainbow to complete the experience. Great for customers but not so much for staff as the power went out. The show went on, the comedians took it all in stride as they performed with a single spotlight. The staff was great. It's not easy finding the right table to serve drinks in the dark! whether or not you're a wine person, give their hard cider a try. So many unique flavors. I'm hooked and can't wait to go again. If you are desperate and need something to do on a nice afternoon go here but if you want to go somewhere with some class count this place out!! The wine is amazing, I enjoy sweet wines, and if you do too the sweet flight is perfect for you! The winery has a great outdoor space where you can play yard games or just enjoy your wine. I was impressed with the everything about this place. The winery was beautiful and the atmosphere was stop on. The staff was amazing and knowledgeable. The cheese plate and pizza was amazing and hard cider was full of flavor and not too over powering. My only thing was I got the sampler and I didn't know which cider was which. We ended up getting a 6 pack and we're excited about trying the cherry bourbon. We will be stopping by again when we come back Kansas. read more

Highly recommend the cider. The wine, however, was not good. gorgeous spot, tasty ciders, but just a heads up - i've been there three times, and was overcharged on every visit. most recently, i pointed out that I had been charged $7 for a $5.50 glass of wine, i was told that the difference in price was from tax. i held firm, explaining that there was no way that the tax rate was 30%, and they ultimately charged me what it should have been ($6 incl. tax). just a word of caution for anyone who might blindly swipe. still a neat spot, and my go-to for out of town guests. read more

Really enjoyed the ambiance of this winery. It's on a beautiful property where you can hold events and weddings, too. We bought 4 different flight combinations to try all of the wines. As cozy as the fire was the wine was...kind of gross to be honest. We love wine and truly enjoy trying new local wines including those that are not average (pineapple, oak, etc) but we were not pleased with these. They were difficult to get through and I don't think we will be back because of that. However, kudos to the staff and we would totally have an event here. read more

A friend and I went to the yoga and wine night tonight for the second time. We sampled four different wines with the flight, shared a bottle of wine, tried the apple pie cider and got a pizza. Per usual, everything was wonderful. This evening our uber was late picking us up and the two employees working were SO understanding and sweet! This is the perfect winery, tasting room, wedding venue, and scenic overlook in the hills of Manhattan. Service is excellent. Wine is home grown by the owners. There passion for wine inspires even the novice wine drinker. Don't like wine, try the multiple ciders they have to offer while taking in the beautiful scenic landscape in front of the fire place or out on the patio. Great place to host a wedding or a hail and farewell. The owners Dave and Danielle are always on site, if not serving you at the counter. They are extremely outgoing, knowledgeable, and friendly. This is my our favorite spot in Manhattan to go relax and get away from it all. I have been to wineries on the east coast and west coast... this winery rivals them all! We love it here but we wont be back. There was a wedding today w/100 people at least w/95% of guests w no masks or social distancing. Sign states masks required inside and in restrooms but not enforced. We felt like we were in the Ozarks on Memorial Day! Very unsafe. read more
