Seth and the rest of the staff were very welcoming and pleasant. The hotel is standard fare for the Hampton Inn brand, everything you need, nothing fancy. The hotel common areas and rooms were clean and neat on entry. No waits to see someone at the front desk. We had two minor issues with keys that were handled efficiently. We took advantage of the hot tub, which was clear and hot, notes that the pool was also quite clear, and the exercise room, which had a few aerobic machines and a fully functional Peloton bike (while many hotels have Pelotons, many have worn out seat/handlebar adjusters and missing toe straps, this one was in perfect working order). Breakfast was standard for a Hampton and the food was replenished before it went empty. The hotel is located near plenty of shopping and restaurants, another plus. We have family in the area and have no issues staying here again. read more

Very nice and helpful staff that is very concerned for your comfort. We had a beautiful room on the second floor that is handicap accessible because of my knees. The room was very clean and comfortable, had a great TV, a very comfortable bed and a really nice couch. The bathroom is spacious and has plenty of grab bars. The breakfast was very good. Pretty typical hotel really. It was clean and the staff was friendly. The "breakfast" wasn't that great. I know, you're thinking "well it's hotel breakfast" the amount of people that were there for breakfast was more than what they were pumping out to feed people. Very small quantities at a time. I don't know if it's just me, but hotel beds are getting crazy hard! So if you like sleeping in a super firm mattress, this hotel is for you! But yeah, pretty typical hotel that has a Culver's dang near in the parking lot read more

My wife and I stayed here for a week and enjoyed our time. On the first night, my wife found a rather curious object and between her sheets. It was very late, so we just removed it and didn't bother. The next morning we went to see the manager at the front desk, and took the item which was similar to a rock in appearance, but it was squishy. The manager was mortified and apologized profusely, saying this was very out of character for her hotel. I took her at her word. The rest of the stay was pretty uneventful. We enjoyed the breakfast to each morning, which was prepared, graciously, and happily by the vivacious kitchen staff. I enjoyed being able to practice my Spanish with them, but they were also completely fluent in English, so it was the best of both worlds. The only complaint that I have other than the strange thing in the bed was the night we arrived. There was no one at the front desk. I got up in the middle of the night a couple of times to grab some thing and there was no one at the front desk. The gal that was working the overnights wasn't very interested in working. read more

This is a good place to stay if you're visiting the Lee's Summit area. HOTEL A Hilton Property, three stories. Amenities include an indoor pool and jacuzzi, gym, hot breakfast. One elevator. Rooms are available with one king or two queen beds. Ice machine on each floor. Rooms have ironing boards, hair dryer, microwave, TV. Our room was clean and comfortable. Rooms with teen numbers (214, 316, etc) overlook the front of the hotel and front parking lot (Hilton members can choose their room, so if you like to be able to see your parked car, choose a room in the 'teens'.) Staff was attentive, competent, and friendly. Our bill was accurate when we checked out as well. Digital keys work at this location if you are a Hilton member with the Hilton app. The lobby area is big with lots of tables (also where they host breakfast) and there is a television. LOCATION Located in Lee's Summit near St. Luke's Hospital about 50 minutes from MCI and 35 minutes from the Royals Stadium. It is a five minute drive to most stores and restaurants in Lee's Summit. FOOD OPTIONS The hotel itself offers a hot breakfast with rotating menu items every morning ending at 10am including coffee, tea, juice, waffles, boiled eggs, yogurt, cold cereal, oatmeal, turkey sausage (rotates), mini cheese omelets or scrambled eggs (rotates), country potatoes (rotates), french toast (rotates), toast, bagels, and pastries. There is a 24 hour coffee bar in the lobby which was well stocked. Hotel also sells popcorn, frozen meals, snacks, soda, etc. and there is a microwave in each room to reheat items. Within walking distance, there is a Culver's restaurant (very close) as well as a Jose Peppr's Mexican restaurant and Waffle House. There is also a gas station/mini mart that sells hot and cold food items. There are several restaurants within a short driving distance including Jack Stack BBQ, Summit Pizza and an Applebee's. Also a short drive, there is a Hy-Vee grocery store (with a Wahlburgers inside) that sells pre-made hot and heatable foods. PARKING Parking is free and convenient. Outdoor only, not gated or secured. No valet. There is reserved parking for Hilton Diamond members, although I don't think anyone actually monitors that. SAFETY Hotel doors lock at night and you must use your room key to enter. Overall, I recommend this hotel. Nothing fancy, but well kept up and convenient. read more

Nice northwest location close to freeways. Front staff was friendly and helpful. Upon entering room you can tell the room was somewhat "tired": paint chips out of bathroom door, some grout issues around the tub (but at least no mold), Paint missing from wall over AC unit, a couple stains on pillow case and bath hand towel. The rest of the furniture and bedding looked ok. Room is a bit on the small side but the water was hot and the AC worked. I haven't experienced the breakfast yet. Will update when I do. I've definitely stayed at better Hampton Inns. I give this hotel a 2 out of 5 on Hampton Inn typical standards. I will probably look for different accommodations next time. read more

I usually try to stay at Hilton properties and this was the only one in Lee's Summit. No problems. Check in was super friendly and recognized us as Honors Members. We had more people in our party than usual and had reserved two rooms. The staff was willing to provide water bottles for all of our guests. Both of our rooms (a double queen and another king) were clean and the towels were well-stocked. (Just a pet peeve of mine.) Breakfast was the usual Hampton Inn fare. Coffee was OK, too. I would stay here again. Parking was ample. Pool looked like it was getting a lot of use. Only con was the elevator. There was only one and it made a racket. Just a little paranoia on my part. Side note: We were in town for a family function and we actually might make this a destination stop. We found a few other cool places in town. Nice small-town vibe with a lot of amenities. read more

Overall an excellent stay. The hotel has been recently remodeled, and looks quite nice, inside and out. F., who works with the breakfasts (FRI & SAT at least), was very helpful and made me want to stay here again! The treadmills need maintenance but, the bed was comfortable, the baths were nice, and most everything was laid out very well. The hallway doors / entrances to the rooms themselves might benefit from another upgrade, as sound still gets through, but I heard nothing through the walls. read more

We stayed there over Labor Day weekend 2021 while visiting KC. First impressions of the property were very good. Clean inside lobby and luggage carts were in good working order (not always the case). We were told we had the last room in the hotel as there were 2-3 wedding parties staying there. This became very important later in the evening. When trying to enter the room, whoever designed the room jammed one more 4 foot long section of desk into too small of a room leaving an opening of about 16 inches wide to get into the room between it and the corner of the wall. Not enough space in the event of an emergency in the dark. We were out fairly late the first night and got back around 10pm and saw most of the rooms still had the taped seal across the doorway saying it was cleaned...and no one was in there...so far. We got into bed and my wife noticed an ant on the bedside table and killed it and we went to sleep because there were no rooms to be found in KC as far as we knew. HVAC did not cool the room below 72 so I figured it was just set that way. Mentioned it the next morning the temps and the staff person said you are in room # aren't you? How she knew was beyond me...she said they had been having issues with that HVAC....so let's put the out of town person into that room. Breakfast was very good and up to Pre CoVID breakfasts of this chain. We get back to the hotel that second night and the nightstands had a significant number of ants (see photos) and it was like playing wack a mole...kill one and 3 more show up. Desk said the hotel was sold out but again the next morning lots of rooms were still sealed and not used when we got up in the morning. I mentioned the ants to the front desk manager on checking out and she said they knew it was a problem and had been for years this time of year....Now I have no idea what kind of pest control they are using or not using but for the top floor of a hotel to have a known ant problem seems a bit beyond the pale. No offer to lower the rate (we paid a top rate for the room for the weekend) or do anything. Normally I would not want a comp or reduction but this was an uncomfortable stay in a room they knew had problems plus ants. We will NOT be back at this property. There are plenty of others in the area for future visits. Buy some ant baits people!!!!! 0/10 stay away from this infested hole. read more

I was in this area for business and someone had mentioned that this hotel was a popular spot for other employees within the company. So I decided to book and I'm glad I did. This hotel offers: Plenty of parking cleanliness of common areas and hotel room microwave fridge comfy bed friendly staff free breakfast close to gas station close to food establishments My one complaint would be the noise from the construction that was going on during the day. I think they were renovating certain rooms and there was a huge construction trash bin outside my window. However, in the night when construction work had stopped the room was quiet. Putting this one on the NEVER AGAIN List! Update: 04/03/2024 Elevator Fixed! ROOM STILL NOT CLEANED! I talked with Isaac last PM saying that I was in 205 ande he said that they missed my room clean. I asked him to please address this issue in AM and get the room cleaned. Today, with room not cleaned again (third PM) I talked with Kiesha who said that she knew nothing about the problem. She did talk with Isaac who said he spoke to someone in 210. Kiesha told me that they would clean the room in AM. She did bring me some towels..... STAY TUNED! read more

I made a mistake and went with a Wyndham brand and had to leave the next day and was so glad Hampton Inn had room available. Checking in was a breeze. Staffs were friendly and helpful and made my stay a great experience. Due to Covid, we only got Togo breakfast in a bag which is just find with me since I had to be at work for 8am. I had to do my laundry and I was surprised it only cost $1 for each machine. I've been to other hotel were they charge $2 a machine. The dryer will not dry your clothes completely so you will have to dry it twice. The pool was indoor and only a certain amount of guest can be in there. I love my room. It has enough space that I like even though I'm there by myself for work. My room was bright and clean and I love the decor. I felt so safe in this location. There's plenty of restaurants around the hotel and gas station. I highly recommend this place for anyone who need a place to stay. read more

The pillows are a bit too soft but that's just my preference. Lots of outlets for your phone and electronics. The staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast is good and plentiful. Ah yes, Hampton Inn! A staple of roadside chain hotels everywhere! Except in some major downtown areas, I've never seen a Hampton Inn that didn't look like any other Hampton Inn. That's not necessarily a bad thing though. Predictability can be good while on the road. This hotel has it all-the typical indoor pool, the typical fitness center, and the typical continental breakfast. That pool, however, was a good way to relax and unwind after a day full of training seminars. And that fitness center helped me keep of those traveler's pounds! Susan tends to go a little off her diet when she travels! The rooms here are your standard Hamptons with the usual amenities. They've got your typical soaps, shampoos, iron & ironing board. There's a desk & free high-speed internet, which I didn't use. Hey, once 5pm rolls around, Susan puts away her laptop! I opted for the King bed, which was comfortable enough. So with clean comfortable rooms and the usual amenities, the Hampton gets the job done. read more

This place has earned awards from trip advisor for being outstanding, and it's well deserved. The queen room with two beds was spacious, clean and comfy. It was also beautifully appointed for a low/mid priced hotel. There was a family using the indoor pool and they had a nice business center and coin-operated laundry. The free breakfast is good with hot oatmeal and Belgian waffles among other selections. We will stay here again in the future. read more

I stayed here for work. It is a great hotel and I will definitely consider other Hampton Inns based on my experience here. The room was clean. They state on a note that the wash even the comforter for each guest. Yay! The bed was comfortable, the staff was friendly, the free breakfast was good and their gym was great for circuit work. I also felt safe here which is obviously important. I slept well because of the bed and but also because it was so quiet. I could only hear the occasional door shut but otherwise no noise. read more

If there's one thing that bothers me, it's getting in a hotel shower and after two minutes you are standing in a pool of water because the bath doesn't drain as fast as the shower is raining. I cannot say enough about Erika L. from the front desk. My sisters and I flew in from three different states for a wedding and it was the most horrendous traveling day for all of us in regards to logistics. After 12 hours of traveling we arrived to the hotel exhausted and dazed from the trip. My sisters and I were greeted with such a warm and welcoming presences with Erika. She was so polite, kind, and attentive to what we needed. She went above and beyond to suggest places to eat and where we could find places to get last minute things before the wedding. In addition, the rooms were phenomenal and Erika continuously check in on us throughout our stay. She suggested breakfast in the hotel (which was delicious) and was super helpful during our stay. I stayed here on av recent trip to the Kansas City area and the hotel was great. I was greeted on my arrival by Rio, who immediately made me feel welcome, asked me if I had ever stayed with them before, which I hadn't, then told me that they were "pretty cool". Really great personality that I don't see often enough and as a Hilton Diamond member I have plenty of opportunities to interact with the staff. Rooms were great too! I agree with the other reviewers comments except the shower/tub drained fine and we did not receive a courtesy call when we settled in. Our room only had three small drawers and a very small closet, making it barely enough storage for one person to unpack. The room was very clean and there was a nice shelf under the sink for personal items. The location of the hotel was quiet. read more

My family's experience with this hotel was 5 star from booking the reservations late one night to check-out. Called the hotel directly spoke with a wonderful guest services agent. I think her name was Lynn. Check in, Mercedes, a superstar. We had four rooms and all were spotless and everything was in great working condition. Every staffer we encountered; breakfast in the morning, housekeeping, front desk. Parking was convenient. Overall this is a clean, friendly, secure hotel. We didn't use the pool area but peeked in and it was also clean and being enjoyed by several guests.Hilton executives, rest assured you can be proud of this property. Don't change anything.
