Exactly what you expect from a Hampton Inn, the staff is super friendly and the rooms are modern and comfortable. We checked in after 13 hours on the road and were welcomed warmly by the front desk staff and were quickly in our room. We woke up early the next morning and decided to eat the hotel breakfast for the first time in years. The eggs were good and the hash browns had a nice little bite of heat to them. The sausage patties were mid. They have a nice selection of breads and pastries. Just FYI everything except the gas stations close at 9pm in this town so if you're coming in late you need to get dinner on the way in. Thank goodness for Yelp because we wouldn't have known that without searching for somewhere to eat when we first crossed into GA. read more

Booked our room on Priceline. We have a registered support animal and the front desk clerk told us they wouldn't waive the $75 pet fee even though we provided documentation. Told us GA law doesn't recognize emotional support dogs. This is probably the 6th time we've stayed in GA because we travel back and forth from NH to Florida twice a year and the first time any hotel has refused to waive the fee. Fortunately, Priceline was wonderful and was able to refund us for the non-refundable room which was $175 before the $75 pet fee. We ended up going half a mile up the road to The Country Inn & Suites for $100 less plus no additional pet fee saving us $175!!! Clerk there said there is no such GA law and it's at the discretion of the hotel to waive the pet fee. read more

Nice hotel at a convenient location at a very fair price. My only concern is their sprinkler heads systems were not very well aligned and sprayed my car with that yucky mineral sprinkler water that resulted in me spending more on a detail job to clean the water spots off than I did on the overnight room. Be careful where you park. And to hotel management, do better and warn your guest or better yet fix your dang sprinklers. read more

Everything you would expect from a Hampton Inn. The employee who was working the desk was very friendly. The outside pool and hot tub was open and I took advantage of the hot tub. No alcohol sold in the little convenience area though. Breakfast was exactly what you would expect. I'll stay here again if I'm passing through. read more

Not sure why the rooms in this hotel are so dilapidated. The room felt dirty and neglected as evidenced by in room air conditioning unit (see photo). Additionally, an extension cord was used to provide power to the bed side lamp and charging station (see photo). The bathrooms have been update but the workmanship was bad. The hallways were very hot and the carpet needed to be vacuumed. The ice machines in the second and third level were out of order and this seemed to be the norm as one of the housekeepers said the only one that was not broken was the one on the first floor. Definitely not worth the price and was something you would expect to see in a college beach town in the middle of the summer vacation heyday. The one shining star was the employees who worked the breakfast area. They were so very friendly and helpful. The kitchen area and food service area were super clean as well as the dining area. They all worked hard to keep the food well stocked and the area clean and neat. read more

Average at best. General search rates it at 9.0...not sure why. One night ran us $200, but this should have been no more than $130. Staff is very nice. Breakfast is mediocre, but it's free so what can you expect. Biggest complaint was a dirty, used towel that was left in the bathroom by previous guest. In the morning, found that we had been sleeping with a wash cloth that I'm assuming had gotten tangled in the sheets. No biggie, but apparently housekeeping department needs a little more attention. read more

Booked easily thru app but on arrival was told "how can that be, we have no rooms!" Not a great start. And yet they did have a clean, king bed room & she gave me a discount for the mixup (yay). Recently remodeled but overall the quality is definitely slipping. Towels seen more like motel 6, thin and coarse. Bathroom sink leaking. Toilet seat, faucet handle and tub handle all loose. Stayed here last week had such a good time. Staff was amazing and friendly. Brenda in the kitchen was amazing being a family with two kids under two definitely has its challenges being able to eat without a child running around the hotel and she was amazing she went above and beyond Per job title. The staff here were all so nice, helpful, and just made the visit that much better. We stopped here while road tripping from New York to Florida and they had a AAA rate that was great. Would give it 4.5 stars if I could, but Yelp won't let me. Our room (210) was a bit damp on the tile and carpet, but the beds were comfy, the rooms clean, and there was a larger mini fridge in the room too. Plus the bathroom was stocked with more amenities than usual, with bonuses like mouthwash, a vanity kit, body wash, and more on top of all the regular items. Breakfast was great, and when some kids overfilled their waffle batter cup, the staff just handled it wonderfully. There was a large selection of fruit, some smoothies, a small section of hot items, waffle station, toasted station, oatmeal spot, and fresh pressed juices too. All that I tried was pretty tasty. Staff also was helpful with dinner recommendations, smooth check in and check out process, and courtesy calls. Would definitely stay here again if in the area. read more

The rooms are exactly what you expect of a Hampton Inn. Pro's: warm cookies, comfortable beds, LCD TV's, free breakfast. Located near a Cracker Barrel and an IHOP. Con's: slow & intermittent internet and the gym equipment (3 pieces in a cramped room and the elliptical sounded like it was dying when used). Parking is initially confusing to find (there's only one way to get to/from the hotel). There is a pool - I didn't use it but it is located outside. read more

There was a time where the name "Hampton Inn" denoted superior service and quality. The brand was solid across the board. Sadly, it seems like those days are becoming history. This hotel is a tell tale sign of the slip. We were greeted rudely and the check-in process tainted by an employee with an attitude. They did not recognize our Hilton Honors membership. We would later find out the employee was in a hurry to meet her fellow employees in the smoking area. Right in front of the hotel where guests walk from the parking lot. It's a sad state of affairs. So, if you're calling, the phone may just ring. A couple employees on other shifts were kind-but hard to find. My guess is the facility is OLD and not too far away from being a Days Inn. The beds are hard, the thermostats are off temperature, the noise level a little higher than most and an attitude of that of a much less expensive chain. I had a general one-time who said a blind man can see poor leadership. Friends, in this case his thesis proved true. So drive by and go to the next Hampton Inn. Two stars for the cookies. read more

Fair review: Pros: Quiet, Comfortable Bed, Adequate typical Hampton breakfast, friendly staff, easy check-in. Cons & Horrors: Turned back bedding to discover sheets full of body hair despite what looked like fresh pillowcases. Tried other bed. Turned back other bed to find red fuzzies all throughout sheets and makeup on 1 pillowcase. Front desk provided clean sheets and we stripped beds. Later realized only a couple Kleenex left in box and no shower soap. Sadly, we kind of wonder what this room is used for. We moved to this room after first room smelled like urine. *We have stayed in this hotel only 3 months ago and had an excellent experience. What changed? So grossed out we are rethinking the next two Hilton stays we have booked. These Hamptons are all individually owned so you never know what you will get. We were headed home from Florida and decided to stop for the night. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. Room was clean & well maintained. When we got back from dinner, the front desk called to make sure everything was excellent with our room and to offer assistance if not. This was a nice touch! The room TV has Chromecast built in so you can cast from your device if you want to watch something like Netflix. This is the first time that I've encountered this and really liked the option. I wish more hotels offered. Breakfast was standard Hampton Inn and eating area was clean. Housekeeping and desk staff in the morning were very nice as well. If I find myself in this area again then I'd definitely book here again. read more

We've stayed at four hotels in our current vacation. 3 of them being Hampton Inns. This was by far the cleanest hotel in and out of the room. The staff was friendly also. The only downfall was that the room smelled musty. Most likely from the AC. I would stay here again. read more

This hotel ticked all the boxes on my Happy Hotel list. HOT water in the shower, clean bathroom, clean room in general. Comfy bed. No outside noise. Check in was easy. All staff were great. No weird smells (I really hate weird smells.) The smoking area outside was well lit. (As a single traveling smoker female, I always feel better when there's a well-lit smoking area within yelling distance from the front doors.) The morning breakfast buffet was a bit abbreviated, but what was there was great. (Team Waffle Maker!) This is NOT one of the Hampton Inns with those blasted barn doors for the bathroom. Thank goodness. Barn doors are not appropriate for bathrooms! The mini-fridge did rattle, and I HATE a rattling mini-fridge. But I just unplugged it and problem solved. And I EVEN remembered to plug it back in before I left, so gold star for me. Two thumbs up, would definitely return if I'm in the area again. read more

After a long drive, my husband and I checked into the Hampton Inn in Kingsland, Georgia. I immediately noticed the hand sanitizers at the front desk were empty. We went into our room and there was no soap in the bathroom. I called housekeeping and was told "we don't have any soap." I then went to the front desk to ask for soap and was told they didn't have any soap either. REALLY? NO SOAP DURING A PANDEMIC? NO HAND SANITIZER? Unacceptable! Outrageous! My husband and I got back in the car and drove to the Dollar Store. We got two bars of soap for $1.00! NOTE TO MANAGEMENT: In case you didn't know, we are in the middle of a pandemic. People are getting sick and dying. Do YOUR part! If you don't have soap, the Dollar Store down the street has a good supply! What has happened to the Hilton standards? read more

This place is a dump. The doors would not even open. We had to pry them open to even walk in the establishment. We went in to use the restroom while we were charging our Tesla. Greeted almost immediately after walking in by the racist janitor who asked us if we were there for the happy hour, to which we responded no and said we needed to use the bathroom. Before anything else could be said he told us that we needed to leave very rudely. My wife explained to him that we stay in Hampton Inns all over the place as recent as the night before, we are Gold members (almost diamond). We informed the janitor that we would be filing a complaint as we had never been treated so poorly. We went outside and called the National office, the janitor came out to see what we were doing; I asked his name but he refused to give it. He instead told me to come in and talk to his boss. He pried open the doors to lead us back into the establishment where he introduced me to the racist in charge Sanjay who identified himself as the owner. He had not a nice thing to say and told us that if he just let anyone use the bathroom, then he would not be able to afford toilet paper. Not surprising with his attitude towards customers. We informed him we were on the phone with Corporate and he said good, it was his hotel and he can make the rules. Corporate was going to open an investigation into this lousy embarrassment of a hotel. Let's hope that they can shut this guy down and put him out of the business he hates so much of serving customers. This is literally the smallest amount of power I have ever seen go so much to someone's head, it is pathetic. I would suggest to everyone, find a nice bridge to sleep under before staying at this dump. Negative 5 stars. read more

Place was perfect for what we needed. We used the Hampton as a pit stop before heading home. Check in was smooth, people were friendly, place was in a safe area, and they had strong/strict COVID policies. Rooms were comfortable, spacious, and very clean. When we checked out we witnessed their lengthy cleaning process and left the hotel feeling relieved. I was truly impressed with how detailed and thorough they were. Beds were comfortable and slept great. If we travel up this way again will definitely use this hotel as our pit stop from now on. read more

Let me start by saying we usually love the Hampton Inns by Hilton. This trip from Virginia Beach to Key West alone we have stayed in three. The Kingsland Georgia Hampton Inn "not so much". Very disappointing. Reasons why: The hotel in general was miserably hot Our room thermostat was lowered to 69 degrees but our temperature app registered at 74-75 degrees all night. Very uncomfortable. The hallways and our room had a funky smell. Not fresh like usual. The complimentary breakfast food quality was the worst! The mystery meat sausage looked disgusting. Even the oatmeal was more mushy slop than the normal consistency and the dried raisins and berries were hard as a rock. Even the OJ tasted funky. Our recommendation here is to stick with toasting a bagel, cold cereal or the waffle. Lastly, upon check-in they requested our credit card as usual "just in case for incidentals". Pretty standard. Only in this case they ran the card for $30!! At checkout when we inquired about the charge she told us "not to worry that they would refund it in about 2-days!! We asked just out of curiosity what incidentals they were expecting us to have from 10pm at night until 7am the next day. They literally said long distance calls!!! Seriously...long distance calls?? Umm we guessed they hadn't heard of these new fangled things called CELL phones!! Why would I make a charged long distance call from your phone when I can do it for FREE from mine?! All in all as I said at the beginning we usually rave about the Hampton Inns (like the Awesome one we stayed in, in Melbourne, Florida), but we won't return next year to this one. No we would NOT recommend this location. Gave it 2 stars because we are Hilton Alliance members and they were at least friendly at the front desk. read more

This is one of the better Hampton Inns. All of them are good but this one seemed very nice. I think it was an attention to detail. Oh - they also had cookies in the early evening. Too many Hampton Inns are cutting back on the cookies. It's nice know that someone here in GA is maintaining the tradition. read more

We stay at many Hilton properties and I am an Honors member. In the past when I would check in the first thing the front staff would do is to welcome me back as an Honors member. That was not the case and I had to ask for my Honors treats. This is the second time this week that has happened. Also did not act overly friendly. I expect great customer service form Hilton but, I did not feel welcome here. The room was adequate, clean and well appointed. The breakfast however, was just so so. The cheese omelets were very bland and the Turkey sausage was tasteless. The fresh fruit bowl only had pineapple and it was piled unusually high. The breakfasts have really gone downhill at most of the Hamptons we've stayed at this past year. Very disappointed. Will not return to this location. read more

Had to stay here because of work and selected it because of my Hilton Honors alliance. The hotel is definitely older and could use a renovation. The gym was pretty disappointing. It had just an elliptical, treadmill, and a spinning bike. The rooms themselves were pretty average, with the one plus being the amount of storage space in terms of having an actual dresser. I also had my own microwave and a mini-fridge that had an upper freezer portion. There was a small laundry room for the entire hotel and the machines seemed pretty old. The one thing that they do better than most Hampton Inn's is their breakfast has more diversity than most. You can only have the same runny scrambled eggs before you snap. They offer some omelet options as well as a breakfast bagel that was actually pleasant. Overall, I think the place is fair for the price, but I'll be looking elsewhere next time. read more

I try to always book a Hilton property. This one did not disappoint. Very nice staff. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Pillows were the only downside of the visit. My husband accidentally left something in the room. We called as soon as we noticed. They already had it at the front desk. He asked if we could pick it up Sunday and they said of course. It was waiting for us Sunday as promised. From check in to check out, the staff was courteous and friendly. Definitely recommend this Hampton Inn. read more

Upon arrival, there was an upset customer at the front desk getting ready to leave and wanting to know how to call Hilton Honors for satisfaction. That was the first bad sign. Upon check in, I was not greeted and thanked for being a Hilton Honors Diamond Member (although that's getting more and more rare now days). Other than that, the e-check in process went smoothly, and I was offered waters (some properties make you ask). Although this is the "new style" Hampton Inn exterior, the hotel inside seems dated and old. Obvious water damage on the ceiling in the halls on the second floor that was patched, but not fixed correctly. The door sticks badly and makes a loud rubbing noise in order to get it open. No way to quietly sneak out while the wife and kids are sleeping in this room! The room has a musty/moldy smell. Lots of marks on the walls. They haven't seen a coat of fresh paint in a long time. Same for the carpet. A very dated design leading me to think it's been there a long time. No free high-speed internet access for Hilton Honors members. Clicking that button takes you to an error page. But I eventually got online by clicking the "complementary" regular-speed access button. That works and the internet speed is fine. The pool and spa have serious calcium deposits on on the tile walls at the water line and on the handrails. All this was noticed after only being here an hour. On the positive side, they include mouthwash and bath gel with the free little toiletry bottles (most Hampton Inns just have shampoo, conditioner and body lotion bottles now days). They also do have fresh cookies available (that's becoming more and more common everywhere). This my 60th night in a Hilton property this year and I've been a Gold or Diamond member every year for the past eight years. This this Hampton Inn is definitely among the bottom 10 Hilton properties I've ever stayed at, and certainly the worst of 2017. Sort of scared at what the breakfast serving will look like read more

I was very disappointed when i checked in. The 2 ladies working the desk were rude, very unhelpful and argumentative. They backed each other up as they gave me misinformation regarding my stay that i had booked online through the app. When i suggested I would find a different hotel, they clearly informed me that i would be billed for the reservation even though they were overbooked. I am a gold member staying an average of 30 nights/year with Hilton and have never been treated as poorly as this time. With that said, i had avoided any interactions with the ladies that checked me in, waiting to ask anyone else when i had questions. I did receive wonderful service from a different lady working at the front desk so i decided on 2 stars. The room was very clear and room the breakfast very basic. In Kingsland you don't have many options, but this is a solid choice. They provide excellent service and have no problem going out of their way to assist. The hotel provides clean rooms, pool, hot tub, free parking and free continential breakfast. The only down side, they actually provide smoking rooms. I've stayed in two smoking rooms (only room available that evening) on seperate occasions. The first time, I couldn't smell anything nor tell any difference from a non-smoking room. However, the second time it was smoke smell throughout and I had to check out early. I'll be going elsewhere if a smoking room is the only room available next time. That literally is only downside to this hotel. read more

Disappointed with management. The room was available for my stay, but not for the local military perdium rate, which was only four dollars difference. It will be available at this rate, but not for two more weeks. This is not the way to treat a military veteran who is also a diamond member! The management absolutely refused to budge, even though I have stayed at this location before at the perdium rate. Sure I can afford a few more dollars, but thats besides the point. I travel a ton for work and stay in lots of hotels. I am a Hilton Diamond member so Hilton brands are always my first choice. That said, this hotel should be named, Hampton Home of the Do Nothing employees. What an incredibly unaccompanying hotel. I stood at the counter for a good 15 minutes waiting for someone to return to the desk to check me in - it wasn't late, around 4:30pm on a Tuesday. I saw a couple of people in Blue shirts walk through the reception and into the kitchen area without even acknowledging I was waiting (with luggage). When a man walked behind the counter he stated to me, 'she's helping you right' and pointed to a lady who was near a chair eating cookies. I recognized her from outside where she had been smoking when I arrived. I replied that no one had offered to help and so he did. The female with the cookies then came behind the counter and helped the other guest who was in line behind me. After checking in, I requested a late checkout (this hotels checkout time was 1100) but I was told they would not accommodate my request because housekeeping was cleaning my floor and they needed to get in the room. I don't think I've ever been denied a late checkout from any Hilton brand hotel or any hotel for that matter. The staff at this hotel don't seem interested in providing any type of service and I would not recommend staying at this property to anyone. There is a Marriott brand property in the area - I will stay there next trip and forego earning any Hilton points in the hope of more hospitable staff. read more

Quality customer service here is lacking. Not only lacking, but unacceptable. Charles and Brittany are both incredibly rude and unhelpful. The desk attendants made my family feel incredibly uncomfortable and had all the other hotels in town not been booked up, we wouldn't have stayed here. We are generally very loyal Marriott members and this experience has shown that Hilton just doesn't hold a candle to the customer service standard that Marriott offers. Typical Hampton is features and fixings. Breakfast is awfully lacking and some parts inedible. In house wifi is terrible. Better luck using your data plan. Employees smoke right outside the door in the evenings. Desk attendants sometimes unfriendly. Sofa beds need mattresses replaced. Calcium buildup in sink. I stayed here for four nights for a work obligation. Hilton is usually my choice of hotels because I travel often. The customer service at this particular hotel is the worst service I have ever received at a Hilton brand hotel. The front desk staff need to be educated on how to provide good service. One evening I walked in and the person at the desk was out smoking and left a sign at the desk that she was away. I asked for different pillows on my first night and the person at the desk said they had none and was very rude to me for requesting foam pillows.
