This is another Hilton property we were guests at that was doing renovation.. and that's always a great investment. Privately housed off the interstate, you'd miss it if you didn't know where it was or follow the directions given by the GPS, but that was needed who wants to be bothered with the hussle and congestion anyway when you are tired....Upon entering the young lady at the front desk was friendly , the lobby was quaint and the room was great. The room was extremely clean, and the bathroom was Awwwwww. Thumbs up to the hospitality staff. The bed was very comfortable, was going to take a quick nap before I submitted an pending homework assignment, but greatrestgreatbed@nohomeworktonite.com kept that from happening..

It's also about a 10 minute drive to the great wolf lodge. There is not a breakfast buffet , but if you pay for. Breakfast add on with your room, you are able to get breakfast. I stayed two nights and got yogurt parfaits both days for $13, which was kind of wild. The room was clean and updated. The only other downside was the train that runs through the night, and cars racing. It was hard to get a good night sleep. Not the hotels fault, but something to keep in mind. One night my tv was glitching, but it ended up fixing itself. Staff was incredibly nice and helpful.

Our last visit we had a minor cleaning issue, however, we were still comfortable. This location is right in the center of LaFayette Square, so shopping, dining, a park, and entertainment are all within 5 mins walking distance. Parking is FREE in a garage attached to the hotel. There is an on-site sports bar, and other amenities such as a pool, and gym. The staff is always helpful and pleasant, which is important to us as a family. We really enjoy visiting this hotel everything we come to LaGrange!

"A Rural Treasure Worth the Detour"…read more If you're looking for a true escape from Atlanta's chaos, the Grand Hotel in Hogansville is the antidote. This place isn't just a hotel -- it's a slow exhale. Nestled in a quiet rural town where the loudest noise is a train in the distance or the cicadas at night, the Grand Hotel feels like stepping back into a calmer era. The building itself, dating back to the late 1800s, has been beautifully restored without losing its soul. Each of the nine rooms has its own private bath and is filled with period antiques that make you feel like you've wandered into a Southern novel. But don't mistake "historic" for "stuffy" -- everything is fresh, clean, and lovingly cared for. My favorite part? The wrap-around porch. Sitting there in the evening, rocking gently in a chair while the sun dips behind the trees, you forget that Atlanta is less than an hour away. Time slows down here, and the world feels very far away -- in the best way possible. The staff radiates small-town warmth, happy to share a story about Hogansville's history or point you to a tucked-away café. You don't just feel like a guest -- you feel like a part of the community, even if just for a night. If you want big-city nightlife, keep heading north. But if you're craving rural charm, history, and a touch of class, the Grand Hotel is where you'll find it.

Quite appropriate I must say. Keep up the good work!

Hallway smelled like weed every night. The room keys would all stop working in the middle of the day without warning, so coming home, you'd have to walk all the way around the parking lot (no walkway or sidewalk) to the only entrance and get a new key). Housekeeping knocks on your door at 7:30 or 8 AM, and if you ask them to come back, they don't. The paint in the bathroom is cracked and peeling. I made a comment about forgetting to bring a bathing suit, and the guy at the front desk, dead serious, shrugs and says, "meh" as if it wouldn't be a problem if I swam naked or something if it was later at night. I have no idea what goes on in that pool, but seeing the clientele, I have no plans to use it. The ice buckets are paper and must be gotten from front desk. Breakfast barely qualified as such. Curdled yogurt, stale cereal, and rotting oranges. Ice machine is moldy. TV didn't work when I arrived and front desk's response, without letting me describe what it was doing was. "You're doing it wrong." Four hours after I talked to her, she came and checked on it, and admitted the receiver needed to be reset on her end. Bad attitudes, smelly hallways, housekeeping that at most replaces towels but no more..after they wake you up or bust in on you in the shower. DO NOT STAY HERE IT IS AWFUL AND WAY OVERPRICED

You won't be able to use the kiosk to check in and depending on how busy it is, you might end up being in line for 30+ minutes to check in at the front desk. If you have an electric car, have a back up plan to charge your car. They have 4 Tesla chargers and two non-Tesla chargers. I've been told the two non-tesla ones does not work. The Tesla ones work half the time and you need to change the charge to 20amp from your car setting or it would stop charging after 5 minutes. I've also been told they plan to remove all the chargers in the near future so call ahead and ask. Sign up for their newsletter. They often have deals throughout the year and special sale on 8/4 every year. It's a fun place but everything inside is overpriced so expect to spend an extra $100 per night there if you plan on dining there as well. I've seen people pack their own lunch and drinks in a cooler and none of the staff members seem to care. There's also a mini fridge in the room and a microwave and ice machine on every floor. Bring a sweater or warm jacket. Walking out of the water park to air conditioned indoor area can be cold. In my opinion, staying on the first floor has been the more convenient. Especially the morning of checkout. You don't have to wait for the elevator and usually the elevator fills up quickly around checkout time. If you are purchasing miniature golf or bowling, buy the family deal if you have four or more people. The arcade Is a money pit, don't stay here too long or try your best to avoid it. My son loves this place and we keep coming back so they must be doing something right lol the staffs here have always been friendly so no complaints there.

The parking lot is huge, but you may have to drive around if you're hoping to get a spot near the entrance. The lockers are priced according to size, and you pay one fee for the entire day. It's worth it if you don't want to leave your valuables out on a chair -- if you're lucky enough to even get a chair or table.

I feel badly even writing this next part about our actual stay/room...but it has to be done. My hope is that improvements can be made so that others don't have to go through what we went through. We walked into our room and here's what we found: The toilet seat was up and there were old pee stains under the rim and old poop stains inside the toilet and a pubic hair on the back of the bowl. The toilet seat was also dirty, as was the tank lid. There was a spider crawling behind the towels. The bedside tables had sticky residue on them. The alarm clock looked like it hadn't been cleaned in years and was covered in dust. The bathroom door looked like it had dripped coffee dried on it. There was old hair in the bathtub. The bathroom countertops and trim were covered in a film of dust and crust. I ended up getting some cleaning supplies from our car and cleaned our room!!!! I almost couldn't stay there but we did not want to cause trouble. Also, we didn't trust that if we asked to change rooms that a new room would be any better. This is not the kind of thing that's random in a hotel; this is major problem kind of thing. We have never, ever, ever endured this type of dirtiness at a hotel and it's going to take a while to get over it.
