The worst Hilton experience I have had in years of travel. These morons cannot even check you in! I got a reservation & checked in on the app, and the "digital key was pending "...surprise, this location holds ALL guests for credit card at check in. No digital key available...had to leave because their card system wasn't functioning properly. Stupid people staring blankly at each other was the result on the Hilton side of the counter. The convenience and location of the hotel from Callaway Gardens was great. The hotel room was clean but the upholstery on the chairs in the hotel room looked very worn. The chairs looked as if, you're visiting at grandma's house. You remember the same faded pilled fabric chairs from a child, but not in a nostalgic way. LOL Breakfast was great, especially, the oatmeal. It was creamy and you could smell it upon entry to the lobby. The staff was pleasant and accommodating. *More snacks (chocolate/chips) are needs in the lobby too. I don't drink sodas and my alternate choices were Powerade and Aquafina. Really? The room APPEARED clean when we entered. The ONLY reason for One Star review: we walked in the locked room and I went straight to the bathroom, lifted the toilet lid, and found myself looking at urine, stool, and TP. I'm at a loss to explain how the room could be cleaned and the toilet overlooked. Was it cleaned and then someone came in and used the toilet, or was the room quickly surface cleaned without any effort to do a good job? I would have normally only knocked off one star because the beds had the thick, heavy, weighted blankets on the beds, and while the weighted blanket is nice, you can't convince me that it gets washed between each guest. read more

This is another Hilton property we were guests at that was doing renovation.. and that's always a great investment. Privately housed off the interstate, you'd miss it if you didn't know where it was or follow the directions given by the GPS, but that was needed who wants to be bothered with the hussle and congestion anyway when you are tired....Upon entering the young lady at the front desk was friendly , the lobby was quaint and the room was great. The room was extremely clean, and the bathroom was Awwwwww. Thumbs up to the hospitality staff. This hotel is pretty gross. Dingy lobby and hallways, multiple strands of hair found in my bed when I pulled the covers back, stains all over the furniture in my room as well. They also charged $170 to my credit card even though I booked the room originally for $145. I was never notified via email nor in person of a price increase. They then proceeded to email me a receipt which says I was only charged the $145 that I originally booked the room for, even though that $170 has stayed on my credit card statement. Pretty sketchy behavior honestly. I would 100% avoid this place, I left after being there for less than an hour. Pay the extra money to stay at the Courtyard by Marriott instead. read more

This is the worst Hampton Inn of all time. Furniture so nasty you don't want to sit on it. Phone so dirty you would not want to pick it up. No switch plate cover over bathroom light switch. Should not have the Hilton name on it. Avoid if at all possible. read more

As a family, we often stay at a Hampton Inn while traveling because there is a decent free breakfast, rooms are consistently nice, and the staff are very friendly. This visit was no different from any other. It was a good place to stay to keep us from driving home when we were exhausted. Pros: Barbara was a delight when checking in after a LONG day at the near by water park. We were all very tired, in need of showers and rest. She got us quickly to our room with extra blankets and pillows. Cons: The bathroom had a couple of spots on the ceiling. Also, the guests on our floor were very noisy. Although, the hotel cannot stop people from yelling the hallway, it was still very distracting to those of us wanting a quiet evening. read more

They overall customer service was not bad however the establishment fails to keep up with maintenance and as a result we were locked out of our room for more then half an hour. In addition prices are subject to change without customer knowledge, original price discussed was $119 and changed to $170. read more

Very friendly here, but use your door chain/latch! At 12:30am, somebody tried to get in my room and that's the only thing that stopped them. The front desk booked somebody else in my room and gave them a key. Very very scary to wake up to your door slamming against the latch. Normally, I love my Hilton stays. This was frightening. Had auto trouble while traveling and booked a room here for the night. Nice room, clean and the staff was friendly but not very attentive. We were awakened a few times during the night by noises from the room above us, someone running down the hallway and knocking on our door and a prank phone call from another room. We were also awakened by several people in the back parking lot obviously having a party sometime after midnight. After seeing the people who were using the pool and the partiers I believe that the staff may allow locals to use the area, (just my assumption/observation) The next morning there was no breakfast other than cereal, oatmeal, or yogurt. Had to request a cup of coffee because they keep the coffee pots behind the check-in counter along with the milk and apparently the plastic utensils as well. Waffle House is just around the corner and had to get our breakfast there. Needless to say, I'll pay a little more and stay somewhere else next time. read more

This hotel has friendly service and good selection of hot breakfast. This is the only reason for my other star. The service lady for breakfast Mrs. Jackie was very friendly and attentive. The low review is due to The rooms being dirty. They had someone else's opened Diet Coke in the refrigerator as well as hair (dark curly, possibly pubic) in the shower. The sink had toothpaste that someone had spit in it that had not been washed out. Clearly not cleaned. read more

Everytime I go to LaGrange - this is my hotel of choice - at least until a Marriott property pops up! The staff at this hotel are the best I've ever seen and they know who I am the minute I walk in - almost feels like coming home! Eats as good as any Hampton gets and it's free, plus I always get a back to go as well! The rooms are all about the same, it's been recently renovated so everything is pretty much clean - cleaner then most! Outdoor pool is nice - though I've never been in it when there was anyone else around - which makes my workouts much easier. The gym is a basic hotel gym - small but able to meet my needs! Parking is ample and easy to find places - but I do miss those chickens that use to run around free - I think they might have been breakfast one of those mornings! 4 stars because of the staff for sure! Really great service here on a Thursday night, June 14. Litunya was the manager on duty and gave fantastic service. We needed to change rooms, and also found a hair on our sheets, and she was extremely attentive and friendly in taking care of us. The staff here are wonderful, attentive, thoughtful, and just everything that you could ask for. Unfortunately the property itself is run down. You don't get that impression from the outside, which is well maintained, but the rooms themselves are very dated and pretty dingy looking. There were stains all over the place, on the carpets, tiles, bedding. The sheets were rough to the touch and not comfortable to sleep on. The fitted sheet was so shrunk it barely stayed on the bed. The duvet was not the Hampton Feather Duvet that you are supposedly going to find in each and every Hampton Inn. I wouldn't be giving a 1-star review if this was priced according to what it offers - as a stop over point at $60 a night - but for the full price that you pay at any Hampton Inn, you expect the same quality and comfort. This location does not have those accommodations. Hopefully management will make the wise decision to renovate, and update the plumbing as well - the water was slow running and toilets, in both the rooms and common spaces, did not always flush. If they do, I'll certainly be back for another stay! read more

A nice and typical Hampton Inn at a convenient location (although the entrance-way might give the more tired patrons a little confusion). One area of excellence was the breakfast, and credit goes to the lady that was running it on this Saturday in late September. I know they used packaged food for efficiency, but unlike the other Hampton Inns, there was an obvious touch of care and diligence in it's preparation which made it much tastier (e.g., potatoes were crisp instead of just heated). read more

Dont get confused and turn into the church next to Hampton Inn. Even though they may have a larger porn-per-view selection. The staff here was incredibly nice and accommodating. The rooms were comfortable, and came equipped with a large (oxymoron) mini fridge and a microwave. Plus, they give you two bags of CHEEZ-IT's and two bottles of water on your nightstand. I think thats just to make up for the sub-par breakfast in the morning. Perhaps it was just an off day, as I have had better free breakfasts at Hampton Inns before. But this was really bad. The sausage gravy looked like a taupe, rabbit-turd stew; only it tasted worse. No hot tub, but theres a small pool outside and across the parking lot. Decent gym, with some cardio and nautilus options. Its a few miles away from the downtown area. I think it was $80 a night, which was quite reasonable, I just wasnt all that blown away. read more

I had a pretty decent stay here Location: 10 mins from where I was working but in an awkward place. To get to it from the non highway side you have to do an u-turn. It is hard to see and easy to miss. Food: Good food for being free. Got the eggs and yogurt everyday, was not disappointed. Business Center: Worked well for my emailing needs, clean and updated Room: It was clean and well taken care of. I wouldnt say it was super updated, it had a grandma feel to it but I ddnt feel gross in it. I had it cleaned everyday and they seemed to do a good job. Wifi: Worked well for my Netflix watching. I usually have issues connected at hotels and I had none here. Overall good experience, I would stay here again if in the area. read more

July 2017: I will try to make it short and sweet! Overall good hotel. We came here for work and it was the only hotel other than the Beaumont that had rooms and we chose wisely... This hotel had some problems but made up for it in customer service. I don't mind places having issues as long as they do their due diligence in fixing them. Before I state the issues please keep in mind that they will do a renovation in the fall that should fix most of them. The Hallways are hot, the room I had only had one water temperature (scolding hot) and the air conditioner was sketchy at best. Side note: they gave me a new room that the water was fine. With that being said Jenna at the front desk was a sweet girl that handled all my issues with poise and professionalism. I like staying at Hampton Inns when we are just passing through as a family. Clean, nice, free breakfast. You really tell how good a business is when things don't go right.... so here it goes - and the bottom line, is the hotel took care of us and exceeded our expectations. We got in around midnight. Checked in and carried kids to the bed. We woke up at 6 and my husband went down to the car to get it ready for our final leg home. The rear passenger window had been smashed and items had been stolen. The hotel helped us call the police, check the security cameras, clean the broken glass, and make sure we had everything we needed to tape up the window and continue. I came in for business. I flew in from Michigan and drove in hour from Atlanta. I got in at 10pm and went to bed. At roughly 1am I noticed that I was being bitten and had large welts swelling on my arms and back. When I got up and turned on the lights I saw BED BUGS crawling in the pillows and in he bed. BED BUGS!!! I was completely disgusted. I got up and snatched up my belongings and ran out of the room. I set my things in the hall came back in took pictures and took them downstairs. I showed the night staff and she said that she could put me in room on the first floor for the night. I asked to have the manager call me at 8am when he got in. For the rest of night I kept the lights on. Stayed Fully dressed and sat in the armchair. At 8:45 I went downstairs to find the manager who never called me. He was very casual with his response and stated that he understood because he had experienced the same thing before :-/ he then told me that as I "courtesy" I would not have to pay for the night. As if I should have to pay for being bitten in this infested room!!! I left and promptly checked into a new hotel to complete the remainder of my business week. This was the worst experience that I have ever had with a hotel!!! I would expect so much more from a Hilton Brand. read more

Spent a great weekend here. The accommodations, staff, and breakfast were equal to all the other Hampton Inns I've stayed at. The best part was the General Manager, John McKinney. His recommendations for dinner each evening were outstanding! Two local restaurants with excellent service and wonderful food. If you ever visit Lagrange this is the place to stay. read more
