We got 2 rooms on a recent weekend. The rooms were quite nice - clean, amply stocked with nice toiletries and coffee. The staff was excellent. The rooms and grounds were quiet. Now, this is a problem that they are aware of, and when I reported my dissatisfaction, they made very positive efforts to reassure me that they were correcting it, and the management reached out personally to apologize and help make amends. Other than that, very comfortable stay - clean rooms, soft sheets on nice beds. Great breakfast buffet in the morning, and hot coffee 24x7. The 'gym' area needs to be Febreezed. It's a clean hotel but... I've stayed here 2x in the past year for multiple nights. On the first time, my teenage daughter left her cell charger. We called the same day we checked out and asked for help and a call back, but had to keep calling until we were told housekeeping "didn't find it." The second time I stayed I also got an additional room for an employee. She left her work shirt and called 30 minutes after checking out describing exactly where it was, that I would pick it up later that day (I was staying an additional night), and gave the desk attendant my phone number. No one called. No one knew about the shirt, the call, or my number. And of course, no shirt. $1200 spent on two visits and they cannot note a phone call, find two items worth $50 when alerted the same day as check out, or call me back. So we shouldn't have left items behind. And I shouldn't ever book this location again. read more

Our first (and last) time staying here. I have been a Hilton Honors member for decades and was disappointed with the front desk greeting we received. Rather than a friendly greeting and two bottles of water, we were just warned about the holds on our credit card for incidentals and potential room damage. Issues with our room included a loud HVAC unit, a buzzing noise in the hallway outside our room that repeated frequently, making falling asleep difficult, a bathroom sink handle that had to be hit with our palm base to get water to flow, and the loss of any internet service on our checkout day. Recommend you stay at the adjacent Homewood Suites where we have been well treated and had a wonderful, quiet room the last time we were in the area. read more

As a Diamond Member for years I have never been treated so horribly by the front desk check in. I asked for an early check in and was told that no rooms were ready. The parking lot was empty. I asked if she could look and was told the policy says 3 PM. BTW it was 1 PM. I said I would find another place. The reply I got was you will be charged anyway. I admit I was angry with the treatment and after five attempts the manager finally called me and said the policy says I will be charged. If management looks at policy as a go no go for customer service then they need to look at their leadership of the staff. Please note Hilton Hotels are great. This one however is so lacking in customer service that one might think twice before booking there. read more

While the lobby reminded me of Flaco's "Rock me Amadeus" video, lots of diamond tufted furniture I left being impressed. The service was top notch, they offered me a bottle of water every single time I walked past the front desk. The fitness center, which is located in it's own building next to the pool, offers cardio and weights. They offered USA Today as well as The Wall Street Journal. The free breakfast was typical "Hampton Inn", nothing to write home about, but like they say, "You get what you pay for". Plenty of great food in a 5 mile radius. In the mood for BBQ - try Jim & Nick's. Italian - head over to Johnny Carino's. A fan of bar food - Marlow's Tavern & Tilted Kilt are all close by. Need a gift, there's an outlet mall across the street. read more

I stayed here with my wife and three kids for a week. The service was absolutely FANTASTIC! Props to Miss T, Regina, and everyone at the front desk. Every interaction (and we had many) was pleasant, helpful, and kind. They went out of their way to make us and especially our kids feel welcomed and cared for. The room was cleaned every day with fresh towels, beds made, etc. Even the toilet paper was neatly folded when we returned every evening. Very impressed. It's rare to find a place that values service as much as this hotel clearly does. We will happily stay here again when we're in the area. read more

Clean, clean, super sparkling clean! Normally I am loyal to another Hilton hotel brand; but they were booked solid. This is a nice hotel. Nothing fancy, basic furnishings and non-posh decor all around but very clean and with friendly and attentive service. Quiet, even during renovations in the lobby they managed to provide great service. My view was of the mall (which I have ironically just discovered is no longer "Discover Mills") There is a Residence Inn in the adjacent parking lot. read more

The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The air condition was working well and everything works, including the bathroom. There was a microwave and a small fridge too. The large screen panel was wonderful with many channels to chose from. There was also an ironing board inside the closet. The towels were nice and clean and room service was excellent. The breakfast was more than just donuts and coffee. It had sausage, bacon, waffles, bagels, eggs, cereal, milk, juice, fruits, coffee and tea. There was a lady who was constantly keeping up with the breakfast area to ensure we have everything we needed. The staff went around our table to pass us some mints. A very nice gesture and it made my day! The wifi was fast and I could do some work as well. Overall, a very clean and comfortable hotel to stay. I love the shuttle service that would take you to the nearby Discover Mill mall and back. The staff was friendly and accommodating. I will definitely return to this quiet location. Clean, comfortable, and a great location. Throw in the modern conveniences, and I'm a fan! The check-in experience was quick. They recognized me as a Hilton HHonors member, which was nice. I was quickly on my way to a nicely appointed room with a nice-sized bathroom, a comfy king-sized bed, a sofa, coffee table and a big desk. The TV is a flat-panel with plenty of channels to choose from. Mini-fridge and microwave (yay!). And of course, speedy wifi make typing this review a breeze. Free breakfast each morning is typical; nothing to write home about, but there are "to go" bags for those on the run, which is a nice touch. There's a mall across the street, and the freeway is a block away, but the room is quiet as can be. Ya gotta love it! read more

I give out the 5 stars for what this hotel is: One of the nicest Hamptons I've ever stayed in (probably top 3).This is still a Hampton though. A solid "A" for effort here. The property is beautiful, with an outdoor pool, seating area, gas grill, tv...the works. It has a small, but efficient separate building for a gym facility with 2 treadmills, a bike, an elyptical (positive that's spelled wrong, by the way), some dumb bells, and a pulley system type cable setup. The equipment, as of late 2013, is in some pretty awesome shape. The rooms were standard issue Hampton rooms with abnormally small closet space and a large-ish bathroom. I would drive out of my way to stay here again. read more

I used to be a consultant. Stayed at this hotel weekly for 4 months. Ironically I am originally from this area so I knew the location left a lot to be desired, however this is a great hotel for a Hampton. Free and fairly reliable Wi-Fi, decent daily breakfast, and super friendly front desk staff. Anytime I requested a room/schedule change - Donna especially was super accommodating. Could use new TVs in some of the rooms I stayed in but maybe they have fixed that by now. They probably do deserve 5 stars, but I just can't give 5 stars to a Hampton. read more

Never thought I would write a review about a hotel but this place is the shizzz... This was our main lodging accommodation for our wedding and they did a wonderful job. The staff was truly amazing and provided us and our guests with everything that we needed. The rooms and hotel as a whole are both very clean and well kept. We had the bridal suite and the room was wonderful and spacious. We had a small kitchenette with a fridge and sink. We were hosting the wedding after party so that came in handy!! I saw of few of the other standard rooms and they were equally impressive. Great pool area. It's a little small but they have an exercise room right next door and a patio area just to relax on next to that. Their breakfast/lobby area is huge! We actually had to move our after party downstairs because of the noise and we hung out in the lobby for hours late into the night. Speaking of that, the staff...WOW! They really set themselves apart from other places I've stayed. The guard stated we couldn't have the party in our room but told us we could go to the lobby and do whatever as long as they didn't have any noise complaints from the 1st floor. We had an absolute blast in the lobby! Also, the front desk were very accommodating to our needs. We arranged shuttles to take our wedding guests to the venue from the hotel and they were able to move pickup/drop off times and take care of us without hesitation. I would recommend this place to anyone staying in the Sugarloaf area! read more

Tarnation that wedding part was a menace. You could hear them yelling in the elevator before they ever made it to the floor. Thankfully security nipped it in the bud. If it would not have been for them the hotel would have been deadly silent. Like a honeydo. They dont talk the just watch and listen. We did not have any fancy uppity bridal sweet. Could be because we were not getting married just shacking. But they room we hd was very nice none the less. Clean and comfortable. Now the hotel was great. I've been staying here weekly now for over a month and I've got to say these folks are pretty good. The hotel is in a great location with lots of areas to walk and get some exercise in. Three are plenty of nearby restaurants in which you can drive or a few within walking distance including a few at the Sugarloaf Mall. Very clean. All amenities in well working order. Easy on/off 85. Bending and pool access a little odd(you have to walk through the lobby) but still a very nice hotel. There is a mini-mall with just about everything you could want to eat, along many other restaurants around including a mall with a huge food court and a Bass Pro Shops. read more

Wonderful hotel. Very clean, free coffee all day. When I checked in the front desk agent originally gave me a room on the ground floor. As soon as I explained that as a single female traveler that didn't make me feel safe she upgraded me to a nicer room on the second floor at no additional cost. Only reason they didn't get 5 stars is because the two front desk agents couldn't figure out how to get me a HHonors card so I could start collecting points starting with that stay. read more
