    Beg bugs!

They have bed bugs! Came for my daughter's birthday sleepover and woke up but up!! Even saw two of them on one of the beds... and the nerve to be charging a $50 damage fee! Very unsatisfied...!

I cannot believe this place is a Hilton. As an Honor Member with Hilton this is by far the worst one I've stayed at. This place is in dire need of an update as the room decor makes you feel like you've stepped back into the 80s. 3 nights in this disaster because I couldn't cancel. I have stayed at worse hotels, but they didn't have Hilton on their names.

Ick! There was dried blood on the comforter. The white sheets were basically yellow. The shower had mold on the soap dish . However the front desk was friends

Bathroom door was broken. The bathroom had red mold. Front desk was friendly, but the rooms were not well.

It was less than $200 and the suite was pretty large (see photos), the kitchen had everything you need, there were 2 tvs one in living room and one in bedroom. Bathroom was huge (see photo). Very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was complete with hot food, although both mornings we were there, small complaint, only sausage no bacon. The people of course very friendly and they kept all the food stocked. The fitness room was pretty good for a hotel, not like the Marriott Marquis but still more than adequate. Also attached to the fitness room is a laundry room and it says it is free. You need your own detergent but that seems like a good deal. All in all very good experience.

Everything was spotless and smelled nice. The kitchenette was stocked with cups plates and bowls. Dove shower products in the shower. I saw a small firepit outside me window which is lovely. The breakfast was hot and not excellent but not bad. Fresh fruit, yogurt, eggs, cereal, sausage, milk, coffee... a little something for everyone. Everything was exceptionally clean and in good shape. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone traveling through.

We took this to the Manager and we have since been informed that they will not reimburse us for our for our room. We left and went to another hotel. They informed Us since they did not locate evidence of other bugs that it was not grounds for reimbursement. SO A ROACH CRAWLING IN YOUR BED IN DAYLIGHT should be evidence enough. We're also Hilton loyalists, so that made the choice easy and Hilton Garden Inn is our favorite of the Hilton brands. Located not far from I-65, this location is relatively easy to get to. It's nestled toward the back of a large retail area and backs up to a large, empty field and some woods. We arrived late afternoon and checked in the day before (room selection) and chose a room on the back side of the hotel, towards the large, empty field and the woods, figuring it'd be quieter than the retail/street facing side (it was). We stopped to check in and get physical room keys (Hilton's digital key is great...when it works). The young lady behind the counter was awesome. She was friendly and didn't mind chatting for a few minutes. She made us feel pretty welcomed. The bar and restaurant were closed (on a Sunday evening), so dinner had to come from somewhere not on the property. Not to worry, there are plenty of chain eateries in the area, but it as far as we could tell lacked local food establishments. Outback did the trick, but we were hoping to stay in after doing an obscene amount of walking throughout the day. Our room was clean and tidy when we got to it. We had to adjust the temperature because it was about 66° when we arrived. The bathroom was a bit dated in its appearance and for some strange, annoying reason the bathroom door automatically closed all the way. Every time. Aggressively. As it it was running a race. The lobby was bright and spacious, as most Hilton Garden Inn lobbies are. We never made it to the pool, but without a hot tub we didn't really have a reason to. Checkout at this location is noon o'clock, which is nice because we like to sleep in. All in all a good stay. If we're in the area again we'd gladly consider staying here again.

Let me start by saying that the staff were amazing, they were just working with what they had. Here is a list of my issues in our 2 bedroom suite ($865.00/ 4 nights) 1. Bathroom sink stopped up 2. Tub in desperate need of replacement 3. Privacy curtain missing in one bedroom so staff pulled the one that was there and thumb tacked it to the wall 4. Privacy curtain in living room area was missing, they offered to put a blanket up to the window, really for $865.00. Furniture in the living room needs to be in the TRASH, I would not sit on that couch. The chairs at the kitchen table were literally coming apart. 5. Ceiling light in kitchen had no cover 6. The refrigerator was dented all over 7. Door handle missing on bedroom door 8. And do not get me started on the condition of the carpet I made 3 calls to Marriot to discuss the matter and was told each time that someone would give me a call, it has been 2 weeks and I have NOT received a return call. I will never stay at this property again.

Two different cars where people were just sitting inside with the car running and smoking. Not exactly the thing I like to see as a female traveling alone. As I walk in, the lobby smells like cigarette smoke and is warm & humid. Even though I checked in in advance on the app, they did not have my room keys or room ready. I still had to check in at the front desk and give all of my information, phone number, credit card, which is weird because when you check in on the app that is not normally required. You are just handed your room keys after they confirm your identity. I get to my first room, and upon walking in I noticed the toilet seat up, black hairs on the toilet seat and black hairs all over the floor in the bathroom. The roll of toilet paper is also dangling almost to the floor. The room also smelled terrible, like dank mold. I immediately walked out back to the front desk to request a different room. The front desk workers were not very friendly or welcoming, and almost seemed annoyed when I asked for another room. She clicked around on the computer for a while and was able to find me another room. Upon arriving in this room, the smell was much better, but it felt so wet and humid in the air. The air in this entire hotel is very moist, to the point where the linens and bedsheets feel wet to the touch. I also found out the carpet feels wet under your feet, so I kept my shoes on the entire time except when sleeping. Every surface in this room just feels grimy and sticky. There are fingerprints and smudges on nearly every light fixture, the remote (which I didn't even touch because I could see the nasty grime on it). There are water stains on the ceiling above the window. For some reason, there are bed skirts on the bed (which are not needed because the wooden frame of the bed goes all the way to the floor as most hotel room beds do these days) which just seems unsanitary in my opinion as they have white stains and tears all over them and are obviously not washed in between guests. They also feel nasty to the touch. When rooms look like this, it makes me nervous for bed bugs. Thank goodness there was no evidence of them that I could see. The first towel I grabbed in the bathroom, had a make up stain on it. At this point, I'm expecting nothing less. At least this bathroom didn't have hair all around. The sheets on the beds were clean. Though the beds were extremely uncomfortable and hard. Let's just say I really didn't sleep, thank goodness I was only staying one night. It just seemed like everywhere you turn there's another problem. I parked at the end of the building because the main parking lot was full by the time I got here, however, by no surprise, the key card scanner at that entrance was broken with wires, just hanging out of the wall. So then I had to walk all the way around the front of the building. The coffee machine at the breakfast area is broken, so you have to make the coffee in your room. This hotel should be ashamed to call itself a Fairfield Inn. Mariott should be ashamed to have this in their portfolio. They need to reconsider. I have stayed at over a dozen Fairfield properties and I've never seen one in this much need of maintenance and updating. I haven't stayed at a hotel this run down in over a decade. As platinum elite (and formerly titanium elite Mariott Bonvoy member up to last year), this is unacceptable. If this was my first experience as a guest at a Fairfield property, I would never come back. I wish I would've read reviews on the Mariott app before I booked this stay. I rarely do for stays of 1 night, or stays at Fairfield properties in general because there is usually no issue. And for $140 for the night, that's a double with this room should cost. I bet the red roof Inn next-door has nicer rooms.

The girl at the front desk was friendly, but doesn't seem to be trained well, or maybe she's new. An alarm went off, and she asked me what it was. I told her it was the fire alarm. When we were outside, a guest said they smelled smoke on the 3rd floor. At that time, she called the fire department. After the fire department cleared the smoke and allowed back in, the staff couldn't find the elevator key. After people waited quite a long time, a firefighter asked about the elevator. She said they were trying to locate the key. The firefighter used his and turned it back on. Our room wasn't very clean. I wiped the bathroom floor to get rid of the dirt. There were 2 hairs in the shower, which I noticed when I was climbing in. There wasn't any shower gel in the pump. I would never stay here again!

We were overcharged for a night, and the staff refused to correct it. They also would not accept our tax-exempt paperwork, because apparently basic hotel administration is an optional amenity here. Housekeeping knocked on our door at 7:44 a.m. on a Sunday, then returned at 8:23 a.m., just in case the first unwanted wake-up call had not fully ruined the morning. The manager appears to live on-site, which somehow makes the condition of the hotel even more confusing. Room 116 had floors so slick and greasy they felt like someone had mopped them with hair conditioner. Walking across the room felt like competing in a low-budget indoor ice-skating competition. The air conditioner was not working properly, so their solution was to attempt to replace the entire unit while we were still sitting in the room watching. Nothing says "relaxing hotel stay" like unexpected live HVAC theater. The shower water smelled like pond water, the bathroom was dirty, and the entire experience made us question whether "Comfort" Inn was intended as a name or an elaborate joke. Save your money. Sleep in your vehicle. Camp in a field. Befriend a local raccoon and ask to stay with its family. All would likely provide cleaner bathrooms, better customer service, and fewer surprise maintenance demonstrations.
