Five nights here and it was great. I have absolutely no complaints at all. This property is one of the dozen or so hotels in the Hilton chain that is offering redemptions at only 10,000 points per night and when you book four nights, you get the fifth free. That was super helpful as I needed the full Monday to Friday for working and that was easily accomplished here. I booked a queen room and was able to spread out my clothes on the second bed. The work desk is on wheels so there was plenty of room for both laptops and both extra screens. Their wifi worked well except for a blip on Friday morning when I had to use my hotspot. The hotel is located on the northern edge of town. A restaurant or two within walking distance but mostly you're driving a short distance. Breakfast in the morning was the usual scrambled eggs or premade omelettes with sausages or bacon, bread for toasting, fruits, yogurt, juices and a waffle maker. It was always there at 6:30 am and I brought it back to the room. This isn't a fancy hotel. Instead, it is a good hotel with friendly folks and clean quiet rooms. This is one of the few Hilton-branded hotels in the U.S. where you can use a "saver" 10,000 points per night award (most other Hampton Inns are 20,000 - 30,000 points per night). Not too surprising, as this place isn't quite up to the standards of a typical Hampton. It is probably still the best place to stay in town, although that's not saying much. The positives - check-in was quick and seamless and the room was mostly clean (though there were a few stains on the walls). A decent hotel if you just need somewhere to crash for the night. However, there were some issues - not a good place if you need to get work done, as the tiny desk is awkwardly small for a laptop. Also, the bed was hard and borderline uncomfortable. Most Hampton Inns are pretty good at providing Goldilocks beds (not too hard and not too soft). Overall, the room had the vibe of a Best Western, not quite a standard Hampton Inn. read more

Let me start off with positive. The breakfast, for what you're paying at this hotel, is good. It will do the trick. Location was convenient. The bed was extremely comfortable. I probably slept better than I have in months. I actually used the hotel's shampoo and conditioner and it was great! I know I took a risk there. Now for my issues... sorry in advance but not sorry at the same time. We stayed at this hotel for 8/4-8/6. We booked the stay about a week in advance directly through the hotel's website and chose the rate option that resulted in the funds for the room to be withdrawn from our bank account immediately. We arrived around 6pm on 8/4 after a 10+ hour calm and pleasant drive from TN. Upon arrival, we were met with a condescending and rude front desk gentleman that proceeded to tell us that he had our reservation but had no record of payment. I showed him proof that the funds were taken from our account with the confirmation email receipt and he said I needed to call a number to "work it out". While I'm calling the number (and wondering why I'm doing the leg work) he proceeds to say I may have been scammed. Ummmmm what!? That doesn't make any sense if you have my reservation but it's still alarming to hear from the professional behind the desk. While I'm on hold, he tells me he's given me a wrong number to call and he's just going to go ahead and "comp the room". The whole thing was weird. He says he needs our credit card for incidentals and it may be charged again for the room and if it is charged again to call and work it out then. I said it better not be charged again. He then backtracks and says "well no it will only be charged if you trash the room. You're not planning to trash the room are you?" This might be a good time to mention that my husband and I are only in this town to attend a funeral for a close family member. We're sad and trying to check in so we can be with our family who is already down the street attending the viewing at the funeral home sooo NO we're not planning on trashing the room. We're a middle aged married couple not a couple roadies for a band. Our entire family was staying there in mourning. Anyways, the entire check-in experience was odd, offensive and somewhat alarming with the mention of being scammed then acting likes he's doing us a favor by comping the room. Anyways, we get up to the room and before we can get ready to head down the street to the funeral viewing, I feel the need to contact Hilton and verify that they in fact have my payment for the room which they did. What a waste of time that check in process was. The room was sufficient but I wouldn't say it was clean. The entertainment center that also held the fridge was actually falling apart and a piece of it was laying on the floor completely separated from it. I took a photo and brought it to the attention of our friend at the front desk to make sure he didn't think it was us "trashing the room" and his response was "ahhhh this looks like infrastructure problems. I've made a note of it and you won't be charged". Ummmm thanks. The bathroom was in major disrepair. The sliding shower doors were not secure on the tracks. They actually weren't on any tracks and swung on the bottom. Major calcium and lime deposits all over. Probably time to have a pow wow with the cleaning staff and give them a refresher course b/c what I witnessed in that bathroom was negligence. The carpet was sticky. Bring slippers. Do not walk barefoot or in socks. Hard soles are required for this experience. I realized I forgot my hairbrush so I went down to see what t was available before heading out to the drug store and our friend was still working (yay). He said yes we have hairbrushes for purchase with an emphasis on PURCHASE (like don't ask for a freebie lol) I said fine I'll take one. He said they're $4.30 and waited for a reaction. I said ok, I'll still take one. He directs me around the corner to the sweet shop and then asks me if it will be cash or card. I'm just not sure if this person is just awkward or intentional. I just don't have interactions like this every day so forgive me if I missed something. This person was literally working the entire time we were staying there. I'm not sure what the story is there but there were a few other interactions where he was completely unhelpful. There's an indoor pool, a family with about 8 kids we're running in and out of the lobby soaking wet and the floor between the lobby and the elevator was extremely slippery. Our elderly aunt, almost slipped in the lobby right in front of him ask I asked him if someone could maybe mop up the water. No response. Just stared. I think you get the picture. It was just weird. While traveling, we chose to stay in Pampa vs. Amarillo as it was closer to our end destination. There really isn't a lot going on in this town and I think that this hotel might actually be the best they have on offer. That said, this Hampton Inn is in serious need of a refresh. Our room managed to catch noise from reception, the elevators and the nearby highway - the trifecta of annoying for any hotel guest. The bathroom was very dated and while the carpet looked new, the room's other furnishings appeared well-worn. One positive is that our checkin was lightning fast. read more

This was our first time staying here but, it will not be the last if we are ever in the area again. We walked in and were greeted with a smile by Brittany. She signed us in and explained the times of everything. our room was very clean, well appointed and had our favorite clean duvet cover. I went down later to get some of the famous Hampton cookies. They were fresh, warm and delicious. They actually had a warmer in the plate. we had a nice relaxing evening and slept very well as it was very quiet. The breakfast area was clean and well stocked with fresh hot and cold selections and of course the famous home made waffles. We will stay here again for sure if we ever travel to this area again. read more

I will NEVER stay here again. In fact, for my next visit to my Pampa client, I will stay an hour away in Amarillo. Here's why I'm giving this place 1 star: #1 the toilet seat had feces on it. No joke. #2 the microwave plate wouldn't turn so my dinner was partially frozen. #3 I found out the next morning that the walls are paper thin ... And I could hear my neighbors as though they were in my bathroom. #4 I was in a handicapped room, which meant that the shower head was below my shoulders - very difficult to wash my hair. #5 there was a dirty, wadded-up washcloth behind the handicapped bench in the tub. #6 subpar breakfast If I hadn't already been exhausted (I got into town after midnight), I would have left and gone somewhere else. read more

This hotel is in a very small city on my way back home. The rooms were nice and clean but had a funky smell to them. the person above me was very loud and i had to call the front desk a few times to get the problem solved. turned out it was a child playing. Bathroom was nice and comfortable. Internet was a little slow but all in all. Would stay again if i'm ever in BFE again. read more

This stay was tough to rate because some things were great and some were dismaying. It was a nice place, clean and comfortable room, friendly staff, pretty good breakfast. But the noise and disruption in the hallways in the morning was awful! We got in late and were very tired after driving all day. The housekeeping staff in the morning were very inconsiderate - banging doors, vacuuming, talking loudly. One even opened our door and tried to come in after knocking loudly while I was sleeping and my husband was in the shower. Restful and relaxing it was not. Also, the coffee in both the breakfast area and by the front desk was lukewarm. Not what we needed after a rough start to the day. Overall a pretty nice place but a few extra considerations by management in terms of keeping it peaceful and quiet for guests, especially in the mornings, would be great. read more

This hotel was awesome! The lady at the front desk was exceptionally nice. I wish I remembered her name so I could tell her manager. The beds were sooooo comfortable. Rooms are spacious and clean. We hung out in the lobby most of the night because there's not much in town to do. And it's right across from Texas Rose steakhouse, which is decent food. I highly recommend if you have to stay here! read more
