They knocked I told them I was inside, do no disturb was on the door. The knocked again. I said I was inside. They came in and were surprised I was in there. They vacuumed the hallways, slamming the vacuum into my door and the walls multiple times. Guests are in the lobby into all hours of the night. Could hear them from my room (not an issue if you stay on the second floor and above I suppose) but my king suite was just down the hallway. Seems crazy that at 12am they let people be down there shouting. One morning the room above me sounded like people were running around and slamming things on the ground. Good luck sleeping past 8 here, it turns into a madhouse between housekeeping and the guests. Stay at the Holiday Inn next door, it's much better.

Having a 6 month old baby, that wasn't going to work. I went to the front desk 3 separate times/days to see if there was any way to switch rooms. Each time, they couldn't help me. The front desk was not familiar with their own rooms & which kind of room had a tub. That was frustrating when I had to correct the staff on their own location. I asked them to please let me know when a room opened up with a tub, at no point did they reach out. Other groups we stayed with had to switch rooms (with bathtubs) due to a moldy odor on the 2nd floor. So for 8 days, I had to bath my baby in the shower. Not the end of the world, but definitely added a layer of inconvenience. Second issue, I had asked for a crib with my room when I reserved it. It was not in the room. I went back to the front desk, asked for a crib. They brought it up to my room, no sheets. I called the front desk asking for sheets for the crib, they then brought up queen sized bed sheets. So, I worked with what I had. 3 days later, I walk into my friends room at this same location who also had a baby & had a crib in their room. Their crib also had fitted crib sheets! So, I walk to the front desk requesting crib sheets (again) as it had been 3 days I had to wrap up the crib mattress with queen sheets. The young girl at the front desk said they don't have crib sheets. I said, I just walked into room xxx & they received the crib with crib sheets. So AGAIN, the staff have no idea about what goes on in this hotel. Another hard no, no help, no customer service. I had to ask for the managers information as this just wasn't acceptable. A few hours later, the same girl lets me know she 'found the crib sheets'. Aside from these issues, 1 elevator was broken during my entire stay. There are only 2 elevators, so you can imagine how inconvenient it is for every guest to share 1 single elevator. I do not recommend this place, I will not stay here again.

To summarize: I am a Bonvoy member who booked directly through Marriott and checked in via the app the day before my stay. This property deliberately overbooked, cancelled my confirmed reservation, admitted it openly, sent a notification to the wrong email address fifteen minutes before I arrived, and left me and my young son to find our own room in a sold-out city. The manager refused to speak with me. I was offered nothing concrete and told to follow up on a day I was flying home. My required resolution is pending with both the property and Marriott corporate: reimbursement of the rate difference, a complimentary stay, and a Bonvoy status upgrade. Day 2. No response. Posting continues.

The only caveat was one of the TV sets didn't work (and no one ever came to fix it while I was here). That really wasn't a big deal to me as I don't watch much TV. But, I learned the microwave ALSO DIDN'T WORK! This was a big deal to me, as I don't like eating out, and I brought food with me in a cooler I'd prepared in advance, to heat in the microwave. I reported this on Monday morning (I arrived Saturday night). NOTHING DONE! I reported again on Wednesday. NOTHING DONE! Just change out the effing microwave (picture taken Monday). So, if you're looking for a decently clean property, where they MAY have given away your reservation, AND you expect ZERO RESPONSE to your issues, this might be the place for you. I am going to be coming back here on business quite frequently, and I can tell you, you WON'T find me here as a guest again.

We loved the pool! So much fun. I also use the gym. The breakfast was top notch. Large variety of fresh and delicious food. I was actually very impressed with it. The coffee though was terrible. However, they serve starbucks at their bar which is also a nice touch. We were able to get some drinks to sip on at the pool. The staff is incredible. Super friendly and helpful. Every time we came in from games they were so welcoming. It was a very memorable. We really liked how close this is to the interstate, and to the lenexa city center. We walked over there twice for food and drinks and to stretch our legs. Definitely would come stay here again.

Managers reception was basic with chips and cheese bites and carrots. But we are all mainly there for the free drinks. Drinks are well drinks and if you tip your server he just might spike your drink more or give you more tickets in appreciation.

Definitely not worth waking up early to eat. If you're looking for a place that is nothing special and will help you get your steps in every day when you go back-and-forth to your car, this is the place for you.

I stayed in a King Sized Bed Accessible room, but I didn't really consider it a handicap room. Yes, the bathroom did have a few handrails, but the shower was a good sized step up. Plus right in front of the tub a puddle of liquid was lurking there? Not sure exactly what the liquid consisted of? Just used a towel to put down and wipe up. I did try the hot tub out, which was excellent. It was just the right temperature and had great compression. Just wish the timer was longer! I wanted to use the computer out in the business center that evening because I had some things that needed to be printed off. I went to use it and it's password protected. The gentleman at the front desk told me the code, but it didn't work. He came over to log in, but couldn't figure the password out. He did call someone else and tried again, but still didn't work. So he said someone would be around in the morning to help me, but mornings are always busy! The breakfast was okay. Everything was up to temperature- hot/cold items. The breakfast staff member was friendly as well. Giving it 3 stars because of the problems. Overall a decent place with a great location to the highway. Just to warn you, construction is going on around the area.
