In addition to the general filth that is all over this apartment, one of the showers doesn't work and when you turn it on, it rains in the living room. The HVAC system doesn't work properly, the washer and dryer leave a disgusting mildewy film all over my clothes, and the filter for the dryer was caked with a solid orange moldy substance. The garbage and recycling bins in the backyard, which I am expected to drag around to the front of the house, are full of someone else's garbage from before I moved in and are also covered with mud, rotten berries from the trees, flies, bees, and bald-faced hornets, and cat urine. According to Denise Winslow, it is my responsibility to risk my health to correct this problem with the trash cans so that I can actually use them, and when I asked to break my lease early because of this problem and the general filth, I was threatened with thousands of dollars of different repairs and cleanings I would need to do. By law, the landlord is responsible for ensuring that the trash receptacles are maintained and in usable condition but Denise Winslow does not care about the law or the health of her tenants. Stay far far away from these people.
