I wandered around to have a look...I never really got anything from her, I lingered for quite a while, enough time to let someone know you would actually like some help...I would have appreciated a "Please let me know if you have any questions" or "I'll be with you in a moment", you know, just simple courtesy. They were busy talking about where their Mosman properties were located and which private schools their kids went to. I walked out, and will never return.

I bought several items from Demir at Auburn and every item had a problem- in fact some of the items provided to me seemed to be second hand. In this review I'm going to describe the quality of my Demir leather sofa. 1) Within 24 hrs of very limited use the leather on the sofa was all stretched and wrinkled. Demir says this is "normal " 2) There was writing and a hole on one arm. Demir has since erased the writing and mended the hole leaving a scar. Demir maintains I caused the hole by pushing my side table into it. The side table is several inches lower than the hole. 3) The other arm is rough and bumpy and lumpy. It looks to me as if the lining is missing or maybe it was stored. N its side during transport. Demir leather says I caused it by putting a soft cuddle rug on it which caused moisture and hence the damage. Funny though that only one arm affected and not all parts of the sofa.

Staff are attentive and interested - they want to chat through your needs at length and propose alternatives and ideas, which is useful if you're not set on a certain path. Lead times are quite long - and can stretch out. Despite enjoying the shopping experience here, we actually bought elsewhere, though paid considerably more than we would have at Dickson Avenue - just a choice we made in favour of higher quality and durability, though Dickson's products were good value for money.
