I LOVE COMING HERE! I went somewhere else for a while and they did a good job but my dog would shake everytime. I know most dogs dont like baths, but I would see little marks on his body sometimes at the previous place. I always felt bad taking him unless it was one person and the other people were nice but there was a language barrier issue..with that said, I looked around and found Hana. Hana put all my previous worries to rest. I love that she is firm on appointment drop off and pickup. I dont like when my baby has to wait a long time and I prefer punctuality because It is less stressful for him and she understands that. I feel Hana really cares about my baby and listens to comments I make about him. He seems very comfortable with her and I love how she devotes her time to each dog. An update- we recently lost Chip to old age. He had been here 3 months ago at the beginning of summer, but has been coming here for years as we trusted only Akiko with this mane. She has the magic touch and an artistic vision that beautifully pans out on each furbaby. We typically opted for a summer cut when Chip became more senior. She was always so careful and gentle wIth him. I cannot expreess enough gratitude for the wonderful person, ethical business person, artistic creator behind this establishment. Lady was very rude, disrespectful in front of my daughter. She had a horrible attitude. I would never step foot in this place again.

We are locals and have been taking my dog here for about 7 years. She may seem like a stern lady, but I love it about her. She's all about punctuality to her business. People judge her, but when she books you for 9am, she expects 9am. She has other clients to attend to and holds her standards very high to avoid keeping dogs in the kennel for too long. My dog always comes out scent free and fresh-looking. Even at a premium cost, you don't see service like this from most groomers. read more

Terrible customer service, very stuffy in facility. Went to inquire about grooming for my two terriers. Entered business, door activated bell went off....no one came to see who entered. Waited 5 more minutes still no one, I rung the bell on counter near sign in sheet...still no one. Finally a Asian lady peeked around wall and quickly disappeared. Still waiting she reappeared and I stated I am here to see what her services for grooming would be costs would be. I stated I live up the street and wanted to support small local business. Akiko, the owner always does an excellent job grooming our little yorkie. She is also always very pleasant and the grooming salon has a calm inviting atmosphere. She doesn't keep our doggie there for 2-3 hours as was our experience at other groomers. Service is usually completed in just over an hour. read more

I've been bringing my two dogs Skittles and Snickers to this groomers for years now and highly recommend this place! This shop is owned and operated by a single person named Akiko and she has a slew of loyal and repeat customers who have their pets on a regimented grooming schedule so I recommend calling in advance to check her availability before you go in. Prices are not the cheapest, but reasonable for the quality of work she does. I pay $105 (not including tip) for a hair cut, wash, anal gland squeeze, teeth brushing, ear cleaning and nail cutting for two 14 lb dogs. As a personal and much appreciated touch, she also always surprises you with a little something extra like a hankerchief, hair bows, or flowers on the dog collar and she has this amazing spray she uses on the dogs that lasts for days afterwards. my dogs may hate going to the groomers/doomers, but I always enjoy it! read more

This is a small business pet groomer shop. I really enjoy this small groomer because they really take care of your pet. You do not feel like a number as other places. Owner takes her time and knows all her customers personally. They take time to groom your dog and I do appreciate supporting small business. I've been calling for days now to try to set up an appointment and get pricing. No answer. Out of coincidence I was driving to Petco to get my puppy groomed and notice what I would assume is the owner walking inside the store. I got off the car was pulling my puppy out and she ran out and said "We're closed! By appointment only!" I said well I have been calling to set up an appointment and no one answers. Akiko does a really good job grooming my baby puppy Leo, it lasts at least 2 months before he becomes a mad man again lol. Make sure to have the full service for your little ones, ear cleaning, teeth cleaning etc. You can immediately tell she really is a dog lover, I feel super confident to leave my dog with her, he wags his tail when he sees her :D very reasonable price! I was unable to take my dogs for a groom. After answering numerous questions, I was hoping to schedule, but I received a call back that she was unable to provide service. Why? Because one of my dog (samoyed) was "too big" and the other dog (shitzhu/maltese mix) was "too old". Are you kidding me? Sounds like dog discrimination to me. read more

We took our grand-dog Madeline (a Miniature Schnauzer) to this groomer last November and had a very good experience so we have been taking her here ever since. The new owner, Akiko, is very patient with her clients and does a very thorough job. We usually schedule a Friday appointment as Akiko can be quite booked on Saturdays. This place is bright and clean and the price is reasonable. I also like the play pan area for clients who do not like to be put in cages while waiting for their mama/papa/grandma/grandpa to pick them up. I highly recommend this place. read more

I took my dog here for a few years but I ended up switching due to poor communication and the owner being terribly rude . I was late a few times to pickup my dog and the last time I left him she looked at me and rudely said "I don't trust you, you're always late ." She never brought it to my attention before and the reason I'm always late is partly because she says two hours and then finishes in about an hour . She also takes a day or two to respond to grooming requests, monitors her calls, etc. Also the last few times I took my dog there the haircut was uneven and the style looked sloppy . I gave her good tips each time for arriving late which is why I also didn't think it was a big deal but after this last time I don't feel comfortable going back . She is very rude and acts like she's doing you a favor by grooming your pet . I found another groomer that is super sweet and welcoming and does not possess the bad attitude and anger this one does . Honestly, there are way too many groomers out there to choose this one . I really wanted to support local business but she's just too rude . read more

So I went on Saturday morning and this RUDE LADY told me she didn't have time to groom my dog.. so I left and then on Wednesday I called her to make an appointment and she asked me about my dogs name and all that. She straight up told me that on Saturday she didn't want to give services to my dog because he had a little bit of tangle hair..and that I should take him somewhere else. But the way she was saying everything was so rude. Like she's suppose to want people to go to her place and be happy. She told me that he had tangle hair and that she didn't want to groom my dogs hair.. like that's your JOB that's why you are getting payed for.. to GROOM DOGS. Every time I call to schedule to get my dog groomed, she monitors her calls and does not pick up my calls nor does she return my calls back! finally she She picked up the phone after two weeks and started yelling at me and telling me that she was busy and could not take my dog. We bring our cocker spaniel to her all the time and she knows exactly how to cut his hair to make him look even more adorable. She's also really fast and usually calls us in an hour or less to pick him up, which is awesome cus I know other places keep your dog for hours sometimes cus they're so busy. Akiko is very quick and sweet. I loved Lilys haircut! Called in the morning of a weekday and was able to squeeze Lily in. Grooming took about 3 hours if I remember correctly. $50 for the grooming not including tip but every penny was worth it when I saw Lily. Definitely give Akiko a shot! read more

Not that great of an experience. I take every aspect into account from availability, price, and customer service. I was happy to be able to schedule my moms dirty dog with fleas, to be groomed here for the first time. Well as available as this groomer was (being able to schedule an appointment for the next day), she was constantly asking if the dog had "a lot" of fleas (which I'm not a vet or an expert so I had no idea) and made it seem like it was such an inconvenience. Every business has a right to refuse service and I hated that I couldn't feel the most confident about getting our dog groomed there because of the constant questioning. If it's an issue then I'd like to be told and go somewhere else instead of going back and forth... So the lady agreed to schedule the appointment anyway. This groomer was only able to take my dog as a last appointment due to the fleas. Totally understandable, so other dogs don't catch fleas too. When I dropped her off, I understood that the pickup time would be 4:45. I left her at 2:30. Groomers typically take this amount of time so I didn't think twice about it being 2 hours. I left and went about running other errands. It's 4:30 and I'm ready to head over when I have several missed calls and voicemails from the groomer saying she said 3:45 and that she was going to charge me an additional $10 for every 20 min I was late. At this point I was already an hour late and so $60 for the grooming/flea spray then an additional $30 added up to a whopping $90. I was beyond frustrated. Not to mention this place is cash only so I had to pass by an ATM and pull out extra cash. When I arrived the groomer was just as agitated, complaining that she closed at 4 and told me at 3:45. I told her I misunderstood (she has a heavy accent) and I paid the full $90 and took responsibility for the time. I just wanted to leave as soon as possible and not take my frustration out on the groomer. But no, she continued to say that the dog was "very dirty!" And again made it seem like doing her job was too much of me to ask for. It's a groomers job to... groom. I will not be back here again. The experience was stressful and unpleasant and I think it's best I go somewhere I feel confident that the groomer is willing to do a job without complaining about the obvious reason I'm taking a dog to a groomer in the first place. read more
