He has fixed my chimney, remodeled an office space, put up thin brick in a stairwell and cut down trees in my yard. I've been very satisfied with all the work Nathan has done. His quality of work makes him stand out, leaving a product that I've always been more than impressed with. With his expertise and knowledge and being able to tailor the product to what the customer wants, I have no doubt that you'll be happy with the service and product too. Nathan told me that he would have the job completed by the end of July. 8/7/23 I reached out to him to find out a timeline. He said it will be another two weeks at most but not to be pushed out beyond that. 8/28/23 he asks if he can set up, I say of course anytime. 8/29/23 he set up a scaffolding around 8am. 10:30am that same day he tells me the bricks needed are a special order and would take another week or two. I agree to wait. 10/13/23 I ask him about the brick order. 10/14/23 He says he forgot about me and will check with the brick supplier. I say ok. 10/15/23 he says he dropped the ball on things with the brick supplier, but will let me know in the morning on the situation. 10/16/23 in the afternoon I ask him what he found out. 10/24/23 I call the brick supplier to find out, they have had no contact with Nathan for a while. I then message Nathan and tell him that due to winter near, I'd just like my deposit back and revisit things in the spring. Nathan then tells me that the brick supplier is able to get the bricks and they are on the way. I call the brick supplier back to find out they still haven't talked to him. I told Nathan I would like my deposit back. He agreed. 11/22/23 I ask for my money again. He said he can only pay half right now. I said I need my full deposit back by 12/1/23 or I will have to contact my lawyer. 11/30/23 Nathan takes down the scaffolding and tells me he will drop off a check in the morning. He never did. 12/3/23 As of current, he has made no contact with me or paid a cent back.

Recently, my family and I decided to renovate our basement instead of moving to a new home. This is something we've never been a part of and were frankly pretty nervous about. After being in our home for 11 years, we'd built enough equity to get a loan, and remodel, but we had a very specific limit on how much we could spend. So when it came time to find a contractor we wanted to make sure we picked someone who was trustworthy first and foremost, reputable, and knowledgeable. We had worked with Rick before on some improvements to windows, doors, siding, etc, through the City of Fargo Renaissance program, and so naturally he was on our short list of contractors to obtain bids from. Rick's bid was the best of the 3 that we received, and given our history with him and his business, we felt best going with him. I CANNOT STRESS ENOUGH HOW GOOD THIS DECISION WAS! The work done by Rick's crew, most notably Ryan Schuette, was so much better than we could have hoped it would be. Anytime a decision needed to be made on how to best do a particular job, it was always done the right way and not the cheapest way. There was never a concern about keeping it cheap, only doing what was best for the house, and for the client. And I can't thank them enough. Add to them their subcontractors, JDP Electric, and Magnell Plumbing. Scott from JDP was awesome, and listened to all my request for power outlet positioning, light switches, smurf tube, data lines, phone lines, everything down to the color temperature in the ceiling lights, and he made sure it was done just right. Mike Magnell from Magnell plumbing went so far above and beyond that I don't even know what to say. Example: he recognized the fact that at some point in the future we might get a fridge with water, and ice maker etc... and noticed that once the bathroom ceiling was in we'd never get a water line in, so he just ran a water line, even though it wasn't part of the bid, and that's just one of the many extra value's he provided. Rick and his team of workers, and subs are thoughtful, courteous, thorough, accurate, and precise with the work they do. Their is no notch higher than them, they are THE TOP NOTCH when it comes to this work! DO NOT hesitate to call them!

They worked hard on a couple of very hot days so I can see how they wanted to get done and out of there. I do like that they replaced a few pieces of facia on the roof which was a huge benefit as it is about 35 feet in the air and I could not do that myself.

I would give 0 stars if I could, so instead I am sharing my experience as a homeowner so others can…read moremake an informed decision when choosing a home repair company I hired ABC Seamless for window installation. Before the installation, I had no issues with my home. After the installation, problems developed and continued for years despite repeated attempts to have them addressed. I sought professional evaluations to determine the cause. My insurance company documented in writing that the damage was due to faulty installation. An independent third-party contractor also provided written documentation reaching the same conclusion. Photos taken during the removal of the windows documented installation issues that were not visible until the windows were removed. During my attempts to resolve this, the explanation for the issues repeatedly changed--from humidity, to caulking (which ABC installed), to house wrap, and then siding. I was eventually presented with a proposed solution involving work estimated near $70,000. I am a single mother, and ABC Seamless was aware of my situation. During one conversation, I recall the production manager comparing my situation to Habitat for Humanity and mentioning the owner's charitable giving. I found that response discouraging because I was asking for accountability regarding my home and documented concerns. After years of trying to resolve this directly, I filed a small claims case. I represented myself because hiring an attorney was not financially realistic, while ABC Seamless had legal representation. They argued spoliation of evidence, claiming they did not have an opportunity to inspect the windows, despite having been to my home multiple times regarding these issues. The case was dismissed without prejudice because the court determined the matter was too complex for small claims court. This was not a ruling that my concerns were unfounded; rather, it left me unable to proceed in small claims without pursuing a more complex legal process. I have spent years documenting this issue, obtaining professional opinions, and trying to find resolution. Based on my experience, the financial burden, stress, and difficulty obtaining accountability have been extremely frustrating. I encourage anyone considering a major home improvement project to research the company carefully, ask questions, and make sure they understand how problems will be handled if they arise. DOCUMENT EVERYTHING AND SCREENSHOT EVERYTHING! No flash tape where it was needed to be fully functional to keep water out, as well as they did not use a nail flange on the insert windows. They also used liquid nail on the outside nearly damaging the exterior of my house during removal. Small claims was dismissed without prejudice due to the complexity and amount of evidence given, I have reached out to them to meet a resolution before moving forward with district court, so far crickets.
