I received their gift card from my daughter. I am an established client and called to make an appointment. I was told that their policy was to get a credit card number over the phone (even though the gift card was the agreed to contractual payment method). I declined to provide them this for no reason and explained that I would come in tomorrow as a walk-in client and see who was available. They agreed. I arrived the next day at 3:00 pm and was told that the next available massage was at 4:00. I was okay with this and presented my gift card. Again, they insisted on getting my credit card information and told me that they would "erase it from their system afterward." Again I declined and walked out. There is no need for them to get card information outside of a payment method, and certainly no need if they are only going to "erase it afterward". This was not for identification purposes as they already had me as an established client. My daughter who purchased it contacted them for a refund and they declined to provide a refund. I recommend not providing card information for illegitimate reasons and don't buy nonrefundable gift cards from this establishment. read more

We started our membership in January and for the first 3 months was great. The front desk staff is very friendly and professional. Very easy to book an appointment. The place is very clean and relaxing atmosphere. Highly recommend booking a massage with Victoria, Rafi or Rayden. Everything was good until today. Stay away from Dawn. She was very rude, bad attitude, never offers to warm up the bed, and her massage was one of the worst massage I ever have in my life. Rubbing my skin doesn't count as a massage. I was very disappointed with the services at this location. I have been using Hand and Stone for years not only in Florida but in New York as well. I had a membership last year in which I had to cancel (moving away, the holdays and not being in town for a month due to an seriously ill with my father in law in Canada in which he ended up passing away) I was unable to utilize the remaining visits on my membership. To be far - I did sign the cancellation which I was advised that I need to use them by December. I had advised the situation and they would not make an exception for this one time. I was very disappointed in that response. I will no longer use thier services and I will no longer recommend them. Not for a one time service and especially a membership! I have been a member at Hand and Stone massage in Trinity, Florida for over the past year and decided to cancel my membership. Their turn over rate for massage therapist is high. I found 2 massage therapist that were great but they both left Hand and Stone in Trinity within a short period of time. Every time I go I get a different massage therapist and 50 percent of the time the massage is not worth the money! I definitely do not recommend Hand and Stone in Trinity!!! read more

I've been a member of Hand and Stone for many years. I've visited multiple locations from St. Pete to Lakeland to Trinity and in between. Trinity is hands down the best location I've been to when it comes to face to face interactions and level of service for massage and facials. I've had a hard time reaching them by phone. I would suggest a reminder phone call more than 24 hours in advance. The last reminder call I received was 2 hours before my appointment. Lori and Johnny are AMAZING therapists who always go above and beyond! Theresa is the BEST esthetician and knowledgeable. After slacking on my skin care for too many months, she has my skin looking better in just ONE visit. I will continue to see all three of them once a month. Thank you all! read more

Today was my first experience at this location. It was fantastic! Between the Covid pandemic and moving, I haven't had a message since March, and I wasn't sure what to expect at a new location. The ladies at the front desk were friendly and knowledgeable. They explained all of the safety precautions being implemented and made me feel at ease. Additionally, I have contact allergies to some ingredients that are fairly common in health/beauty products. They were able to confirm that the lotion used was safe for me, and even brought a jug out for me to see the list of ingredients, just in case. When I scheduled my appointment I picked a therapist based on who was available at the day/time I wanted. Although I'm sure all of the therapists are good, I couldn't have been more happy with April. She was a perfect fit for me and provided me with 80 minutes of heavenly relaxation. I highly recommend her! read more

My membership was originally set up at the Carrollwood location way back in 2013. I've been a loyal member ever since. They have excellent customer service and I am well pleased with my MT- Dana. Unfortunately she graduated nursing and no longer working with them. I have also used the Wesley Chapel location because I followed my MT- Rachel from Carrollwood but unfortunately she's no longer working there either. Now, we moved to NPR in June 2020. And that is why I thought I'll give Hand and Stone in Trinity a try. What a mistake! I was told by your front desk that I wouldn't be able to use my gift cards I purchased from Wesley Chapel location. Then, the girl yesterday says I couldn't use my membership yet because it was too early still. I've never been questioned of this from Carrollwood even once the whole time I was a member. If I come in early, they would ask my permission if I want to use my membership in advance. You never, ever use the words "NO" "CANT DO" to your customers no matter what the situation is. That is bad customer service. You want to keep them, not loose them. Then, I received an email saying, I have completed my points for a free hot stone massage. Great! So, I called Trinity location to ask if I can upgrade it to a trigger point with Rayne since I already made the appointment with her in two weeks. Again, another words "CANT DO" is being used. I would think you would be concern about your customers needs. I've used hot stone massage once and never again since I have very sensitive skin and burn easily. What is the point of having a free massage if I couldn't use it? I love Rayne and I wish her the best. Hand and Stone in Trinity? I will not be coming back to your location ever again. I have had a lousy customer experience with your business since day 1. I will be telling all my family and friends about you. read more
