My mother and I have been great customers for this establishment for over a year. We go every two weeks for Gel manicures and pedicures. We always tip each professional $20 on the individual service. My mother has always seen Kim who is exceptional, kind, and courteous. This was the first time I have seen, Lily. One week ago I received a gel manicure with Lily. It looked beautiful. I went home, went about my normal business and five days later, 6 of my 10 nails had ridges at the cuticle with the gel polish, lifting and shipping away. I called and made an appointment and went to see Lily. I explained very clearly before I sat down and showed her that the gel was over my cuticles and lifting and peeling back. I assumed she would remedy the situation at no charge. Nobody said a word. Lily repaired the issue and as I rebooked my next appointment for my mother and I. She proceeded to charge me $40. I looked at her and said "this was your mistake...the gel was lifting and chipping. I showed you before I sat down. It has only been 5 days." Rather than making a scene, I paid $40 as I realize it is not her fault,but the policy of the business, to charge customers for crap workmanship. For this, we unfortunately we will not be back. This is not good business practice. There are many options for good services elsewhere. When your product fails, a good business remedies the situation, or at the very least makes you aware that you will be charged for a service the business should absorb if their craft is not up to par. read more

The nail techs here are so rude. 2 times ago I had the guy at the end tell me that I'm not lady-like because my nails are so short and he called over other techs to look at them throughout my service. I just shrugged it off. This last time a lady did the same thing. The entire appt she just couldn't get over my nails being short. I am just a person who doesn't enjoy the feeling of fake nails but like them looking nice. It's very uncomfortable to sit through appts here and just get harassed the entire time considering you are paying for the service and expected to tip. I was in the shop during the incident mentioned in the previous review where the gift card expired. Jennifer, the owner tried very politely to explain that the gift card was well over a year old and that the shop had only been closed for a total of six weeks so the gift card which was purchased in December 2019 could have been used prior to now. She also stated that if it had only expired by a few day or a week or even month she could've honored it. the system would absolutely not accept it. The customer was fairly aggressive in her approach and refused to listen to reason. Thus shop was only closed for 6 weeks in April snd May of last year, so there plenty of opportunities to use the card within the allotted time. BUYER BEWARE! I would give this place zero stars if I could. I purchased a $60 gift card for my mother's birthday early last year (pre COVID), which I have done for several years now. NOWHERE on the gift card does it say that it's only valid for one year from the date of purchase. My mother went to use the gift card today (May 2021), and was told by an extremely rude employee claiming to be the owner that the gift card was no longer valid because it expires after a year. She tried to explain that there has been a GLOBAL PANDEMIC the past year that impaired her ability to use it, but no exceptions. I have attached a photo of the gift card, showing no such notation or warning that the value would expire. Just want to warn people regarding how this business operates. I will never purchase another gift card or service from this business, and we will take our business elsewhere. So not the best experience. It was clean, but outside of that I was disappointed in the sloppy work. I chose the dip powder. It was darker than test strip. Employee said she'd pick a close complimentary color from gel for toes... as you can see in the picture it was NOT close. Toe color was nice, but not matching. My daughter's nails were ok, but lacking a shine... wondering if they forgot last coat? Waxed lip and sideburn area and that was a positive experience. Wouldn't go back. Not worth the money for the marginal service and lack of sharp eye. read more

Sorry for late post, this is for the visit 2 month ago. I got my nails done at Famous Nails & Spa on my Florida trip while walking by. Even though I was walk-in, the wait time was acceptable. The technician are friendly and have performed a great work on the nail form and shape. They are passionate in their job and give the best advice to their clients. This was the first time I got a full set, but it was wonderful. The set and its color lasted longer than what I have expected. I definitely come back whenever I visit the area. read more

I've been to this salon before twice to get my acrylics done and I've liked the nails but the staff is horrible to you, the vibe was awkward and not relaxing. i went with my sister today to get pedis and they were rude form the start to end. calling my sister ugly,trying to upsell us 4 times and my last straw was when the total came out to 150! I asked for the price and she told me 55$ each but didn't even mention the extra 20$ for gel! we just got pedis. and not even an hour later my sisters toes started chipping! We payed extra for gel and 1 hour later they started chipping. -3/10 I can't even read more

If zero stars were an option, this place would get it. I've came to this salon twice. The first visit, I thought I just got a bad apple to do my pedicure but the second visit was the same. They are EXTREMELY rough and do not listen when you tell them to be gentle. My pedicure water was ice cold. I asked them to either make it warmer or turn it off, the person didn't do either. The service is just horrible. The nail polish is also old and the gel machines are disturbingly dirty. The woman with tattoos who answers calls has an unbelievably rude attitude, she walks around giving dirty looks, taking badly about customers and is selective with who she takes based off of appearance. I noticed this last time they added add-ons that did not apply to me. They tried to add a "long nail" add... And charged me 10 dollars more than I normally spend just for a dip set. my nail is no more than 1 cm long past the bed. I paid 45 when I usually pay that with additional tips and gems.... I was a new customer and went in for a Gel color change on my feet. I was talked into getting a Pedicure. She didn't explain what type of Pedicure's she offered, she just started doing a Pedicure. She did not scrub the bottom of my feet to remove the calluses, I did point out which foot had rough spots and she said ok. She only scrubbed my feet with the purple scrub thing but didn't use the metal thing, didn't get a foot massage but did put lotion on my feet and sent me on my way $57 later..... I was very unhappy and went back that Monday and spoke with an employee who wanted to know who did my feet,I tried to describe her the best way could. I showed her the calluses and very dry cracks parts of my feet that were not scrubbed. She said to use the metal thing was $5 extra... ok I didn't mind that nor was I asked if I wanted that. I asked if someone could scrap the bottom of my right foot it looks really bad. She said the person who did my feet would have to redo, so I said it's just this one feet Noone can help me? I can wait, she said the other lady would have to do it and she was off and I would have to schedule an appointment. WOW...... What customer service..... I am NOT from this area, it was my first visit there and I went with my God mom was goes there all the time and spends almost if not $200 every 3weeks. I immediately called her out on it and she told me she blew on the wax before she put it on my eye. She did not apologize or take ownership. When I complained to the manager, I was told that they were probably going to let her go because she had injured someone before me.
