She got to run and play with the other dogs and had her own little place to sleep at night where we could watch her on my phone. They even had young people that went out and played with the dogs to keep them entertained! The problem was, when we picked her up after about 5 days, she had a cough (I didn't even know that dogs coughed) that I would later learn, from my vet, is know as "kennel cough" had to start antibiotics to finally recover! Was too bad because I really wanted to like this place and continue with them. Thinking about giving them another chance but I'm scared. She's an old dog now and probably couldn't survive this again.

I asked many questions, called numerous times and left strict information about the needs of my pup and very little if any of the information I gave them was utilized in making her stay the least bit pleasant or comfortable for her. She was scared out of her wits. They put the small dogs in the same rooms as the large dogs, regardless of whether you request or explain that your pup cannot handle that. They give you a trial half day in which you're able to see you dog during the time they are in the play area. However, what I noticed and mentioned was that my pup never took her eye off of the human, in fact was on their tail if not right on their heels. She was trying to tell them she was not comfortable around all these dogs. But they did nothing, not even after my 4 or 5 calls to the staff while I was boarding her during her stay. Afterward, my vet said she was so traumatized that we're are still having to monitor her for Addison's disease. It's now 4 months later and she's still struggling with anxiety. I'm going to have to take her to a behaviorist to try to get her back to the fun loving puppy she was before this experience. It may be very clean, but that's where the Good ends! While they repeatedly stated she received individual hugs, cuddles and pets. I never saw once until the last day I called which was the days before I was picking her up and it happened 3 times that day, but who knows what happened once she was off the video cameras. DO NOT LEAVE YOU LITTLE DOGS HERE!!! I spent my entire vacation watching the camera's at all times I was allowed to watch because I did not like what I was seeing and I called just about every day or other day. The day I picked her up they had to drag her across the floor on the leash because she was so depressed she wouldn't even stand up and then even after she got in where she could have seen me. Her face was plastered to the ground because she was so scared and until I went over and reached down to pick her up she hadn't even looked up. That is simply unacceptable and appalling that in one weeks time by sweet active puppy went from what she looks like in the second photo to what she looks like in the first photo. There is simply NO ACCEPTABLE EXCUSE. IF I COULD RATE THEM A ZERO I WOULD. The 1st photo they took of her at the boarders when she was there, the website won't allow me to use a photo of Gracie looking the way she was before this place had her for a week. If you want to see that you can click on my name above and it's the profile photo. Finally after 8 months she's beginning to get back to her puppy self of before her time at this place. However, she's still not out of the woods for Addison's as he anxiety about being left is still extreme. Warning unless they made a change to separating small dogs and big dogs, I don't recommend leaving your little dogs at this boarder. And if you do make sure you pay for the highest Suite package so that you have 24 hour viewing. I was told that was what I was booked for, until we got there and then they said sorry we don't have one available for all your dates, as apparently one of their regular came in and wanted the top suite so Gracie was tossed a bone and asked if we would be ok with the next highest which is only watch during the playtime feed. That is not good enough.

To keep it simple, we were brought a baby that fit right into my hands--only a few days old. We bottle-fed him while he grew and grew. We picked up the basics pretty fast: sit, roll over, and don't eat until we say "go." But ol' buddy just kept getting bigger and bigger. His tail has a personality of its own... and the slobber! I weigh 115 pounds, and he's already up to 135. He's a big ol' Corso. Once he hit a certain point I wasnt comfortable walking him alone outside of my privacy fence. He HAS to be ran out daily and all the fetch and hide and seek wasnt enough. It didnt feel right and the less we got to do each day, the more wrestless he is. Nobody but me could go around him because he wants to jump all over everyone. He drug my 7 yr old around by his hood once... another time he pulled his shirt off by his sleeve. I taught him "between" so he comes and sits and that turned into him going between my 7 year olds legs and picking him up and flipping him off. Walks turned me into a flag. He busted out a window wanting in and the back door. Our new neighbor kids couldnt go outside without hearing him bark nonstop and his bark is scary. I reviewed all the bootcamps around and went into a few for a visual to help. When I went in here I was greeted by pets being picked up by their owner after a day at daycare and being dropped off for an afternoon! I couldnt stop smiling bc there wasnt one dog that didnt look excited about being there! After reviewing and questioning i booked for him to go while I went out of state for almost 2 weeks. I called to check up on him bc like I said its a love hate thing and I know I have no business having this breed, Ive only had Boston terriers and a pug! But it happend and im trying to make it work and I missed him. Hank got on and got me caught up on where they were and asked me questions to help them to keep succeeding. I never ever felt rushed or like I was annoying anyone with questions. And When I got back to my Gigantor, He was a brand new boy! No jumping! Ive only been home 3 days and ive walked morning, as soon as it cools off and then again for a night walk. Ive passed other humans and animals! We also got to go in for a one on one and when we pulled into their parking lot he started squeeling with excitement in the backseat! If I even expected that, I would have recorded it. Then as soon as he seen Hank, (his trainor) he got even more excited and ran to him ready to work! Thats how you know its a good place!!! Not just bc my boy acts like hes been doing this well the entire time but a dog like him does NOT react happily to someone that didnt treat him right. Heck I think Bant would love to live there too. I was so worried my heart was going to be broken because I couldnt do what he NEEDED, to help him be more confident. Keep in mind Ive been going threw some health things during important stages. But I tried and sometimes it just takes that village. So if your in a situation that you need help with like how mine was beyond too much for me, this is the perfect one! I cant stop talking about it. He finally got to meet all the neighbors!! It was so relieving I was about in tears. We now have a furrever pup sitter!

Super unprofessional employees and management…read more My friend drove an hour with her two small children to visit a kitten they had seen online. She and her kids immediately fell in love with the kitten, but were told they couldn't adopt. When I emailed some concerns to management, it took them three weeks to reply with an email that I was never intended to see. Their response to my complaint was that it was "farfefched" ... as if my friend would drive an hour one direction to adopt a kitten only to opt out of the adoption after seeing how much her kids and the kitten loved each other. This was my email complaint (shorteded) A male employee in his late twenties/ early thirties with light brown hair, glasses and white plugs in his earlobes "helped" my friend's family out with their desired adoption. My friend went in to adopt Mitzi around closing time today (6/25) with her two sons who are five and seven. They saw Mitzi online and went to visit her, but also saw two other kittens just in case - they knew immediately Mitzi was the kitten for their family. Mitzi obviously felt the same as she was running across the youngest child's lap and was very playful during their time with her. Unfortunately, my friend was unable to adopt Mitzi due to two employees. They made passive aggressive remarks about the kids not being able to handle kittens and were very rude to her and her children. While the boys were trying to get the kittens to play with the toys, one of the employees said "they are street cats, they don't like toys, they don't like you, and they don't like kids". When Mitzi ran across the youngest child's lap he got excited and squirmed a little - one of the employees criticized the child for moving and my friend for bringing the child. They said that she needs an adult cat instead of a kitten. They even said at one point to her "maybe if we left the room they would actually want to play with you guys more" then wouldn't leave the room to allow the family to play with the kittens. When my friend expressed interest in adopting Mitzi, one employee said to her "she is my favorite and I won't let her go home with just anyone". They also told her that she needs to adopt an adult cat as her kids shouldn't be allowed around kittens. This is highly disappointing as these children have grown up around dogs and have been around cats their entire lives.

When I took her to the Lazy P, I was nervous at first because I had never boarded Lola before. All of my fears subsided when I met Gloria, the owner. She showed me where Lola would be staying (in her own deluxe suite) and I saw the large play area where the dogs play together. When I left Lola, I felt completely reassured that my pup would be treated like one of Gloria's own. Lola was supplied with a dog bed since I forgot to bring hers. She had plenty of toys to play with in her pen and outside in the turf area! When I returned to get Lola she was so happy and hardly wanted to leave Gloria's side! I HIGHLY recommended this faculty for all of your pet boarding needs!
