I have to say.....I have been literally blown away by this place. We started going about a year ago when we got our new puppy. We had a terrible time with him and his allergies. He has some crazy food allergies, and these people were so nice in helping us figure out what worked for him. They even let us try food....and if it didn't work, we could bring back the partial bag for a full refund......I was shocked! We finally got him.....with the help of the great staff....on a good food that works for him. They are priced competitively with the bigger stores, but what you get here that you won't at other places is the service. Also, they have a program that if you buy 12 bags of food, the 13th is free. Dog Days of Sommer…read more  I am the 'perfect candidate' to write this review. Of course, you can see my rating as a five star immediately so that so can choose whether to read on.  The reason that I say that I am the 'perfect candidate' is because I, as most people, love their pets as family or even as their children. I have loved my dogs over the decades and have sadly had to put several down from old age. To have to put your pet down is a terribly emotional time. I grew tired of it and decided that I would leave the hard stuff for my wife.  You might think, as a Police Officer, I would be a bit more stoic than that. My dogs become my shadow and my best friend. I'll train and love them, but my wife gets to do all the serious stuff. For example, if they have to go somewhere overnight, she handles it. When I used to take them, they would look into my eyes waiting to go out the door with me. Now, my wife doesn't mind doing what I can't do.  When my wife dropped my dogs off for an overnight at Dog Days of Sommer, she came out to the car telling me that my dogs were going to love it. She put my mind at ease letting me know that the staff loves the dogs, they were friendly and helpful. She assured me that the dogs are in good hands. The interior was clean, well kept, and open. There are large play areas.

The day camp has taught our newest puppy, a rescue, how to get along and play with others. In the beginning she didn't want to be there, now is so excited to go.
