I wear a 7.5 shoe and the boot was for 10.5 and bigger. The boot was heavy and hard to avoid hitting furniture and other obstructions. This placed a torque on the ankle and probably hindered the ankle healing. Also upon leaving they asked me if i wanted a disk of the x-rays. I asked them to be emailed in which they replied ok. After not receiving I called and they said they cannot email. Overall the PA appeared competent, but then it digressed.

To whom it may concern,…read more I visited the Massapequa office and saw Dr. Lippe on March 6, 2026,because of pain in my left wrist. They took X-rays and found nothing so I was sent for an MRI which I had done On March 11, 2026. No one in the office was able to confirm whether or not an authorization was needed so my wife and I spent two days coordinating phone calls between the office, insurance company and Wantagh MRI to finally get this straightened out. This begins a world of frustration with this practice. I retuned for my follow up visit March 12, 2026, only to find that that was no concrete issue as to why I am experiencing the pain in my wrist so Dr. Lippe suggested a follow-up visit with the hand specialist and suggested that he call in an Rx for an anti-inflammatory to help me get some immediate relief. When I followed up with my CVS pharmacy Thursday afternoon I was told there was no Rx called in. After several phone calls with the office and being told that they would get back to, it is now Friday, March 13, at 1 PM and still no Rx or relief as I sit here in pain. My wife just called again and was told - "Yes we see the message and will get back to you" now 24 hours later. This was my first time at this practice and I would never return again not for a hand specialist or any doctor for that matter. I have been to many Doctors in my time and never experience such non- compassion or complete incompetence. I will make sure this is posted on every media channel can post it on as I sit here in pain with no relief after spend a week dealing with this incompetent practice. I returned to have my right knee x rayed to determine a solution to my discomfort. This review only references Dr. Robert Lippe, an orthopedic surgery specialist, who examined my injury. From what I read prior to my visit, Dr. Lippe specializes in hip and knee replacements, trauma, and osteoporosis care. Dr. Lippe was knowledgeable, thorough, and quite pleasant. I felt confident that he would provide me with the right choice medical attention for my knee.

That Dr. Shah personally reached out to me shows me she really cares . She is an excellent Dr. with a good bedside manner and deserves another chance. I'm now confident future experiences with her staff will be better . I would have given zero stars if possible, Dr. Shah is a fine Dr. but her office is rude, unprofessional and make her practice unworthy of my time. Recently I asked her office to help me fill out paperwork for FMLA, a chronic pain condition I have. Never have encountered such uncaring and unprofessional desk staff. I literally wasted 2 paid sick days and numerous phone calls which no one even bothered to return. I was simply attempting to ascertain if they can assist with filling this paper work out. Every single girl from the front desk to the medical assistants to the Nurse Practitioner were so warm and welcoming. They listened to my needs and how to manage all the neck and back pain. They were so professional and so absolutely friendly. They got me in so quickly. They also care about their staff during the COVID-19 issues and practice perfect protocol. We have had this appointment scheduled for a month. Her insurance hasn't changed. The office has had her insurance information since she made the appointment. They could have called us at any point prior to 9:25am today and we could seek care elsewhere. The front desk staff are completely incompetent and unprofessional. This is a practice that needs to be absorbed by a bigger hospital organization and ensure competent patient care. We wasted our time and my girlfriend now has delay of care in tending to her active medical issues. Completely unacceptable. Do not go here.
