R and M's owner Nick immediately responded with the names, addresses, phone numbers, and emails of 4 homeowners who had the same work done. The other companies would not do so. After contacting each reference, I got the same response from each one: Nick and R and M are the most professional, reliable, careful and responsive contractor they had ever dealt with. Nick and nis crew of Emilio, Ivan, Alex, Luis, Dario and Juan started on the date promised. They worked for a total of 6 days to replace the underlayment, broken tiles, all new metal valleys and flashings, new powder coated bird stops and drip edges. Additionally, I had them wrap the wood fascia in color matched metal. Every day the crew worked efficiently and the site was cleaned before they left each day. The soffit repairs were extensive, but done very well, including painting. The roof is water tight, looks great, and should last way beyond the full warranty given. The work was thorough, like, surgical precision but make it roof tiles kind of thorough. I watched as old, worn-out tiles gave way to clean underlayment, like a snake shedding its skin to become a much better-insulated, leak-proof version of itself. They navigated tricky valleys, ventilation pipes, and multiple pitches with a kind of grace I didn't think was possible for construction.
