They required over $50k to even start the job. The way they applied the payment was crediting that money towards future work that was not even started. So you were constantly paying for work that was not even started yet. I also learned that they were also EXTREMELY overpriced. More than double what some other companies would have charged for flooring, painting, drywall, etc. On top of that their work was absolute crap. A lot 3/4 finished work that was already paid for and zero attention to detail. And they just kept asking for more money knowing I was unhappy with the quality of work they were producing. They also never met a single deadline they set. After 2 years of this and $200,000 paid to this company I finally fired them. I feel as if I got seriously ripped off. And to top it all off Mike L with this company proceeded to curse at me and raise his voice when I brought up these concerns.

Please know that this is not about the quality of the work. My ceiling looks amazing. The lower rating is more about having to cleanup. And that may not be important to you but it's very important to me. 1. My place was spotless as it had just been professionally cleaned. Now, I'm still finding residue here and there and usually at the top of the walls. With my furniture in place and too heavy to move, I don't know how I'll ever get to these areas. 2. I have a very busy, full life. In this case, I was moving the next day and had even more to do than usual. Sure didn't expect or want the added work of scrubbing walls and floors and even my front door. It comes down to customer service-the cleanup would've taken GTW 15 minutes or less.
