We needed to move furniture from two separate locations to one 3,600 sq ft home. The logistics of which items went to which room was challenging as many boxes were unmarked or had older labels from a previous move. Review We recently…read moreused Box Turtle to move our 1600 sq ft home. The estimate was 400 for 3 hours and 250 for every hour after that. It took them 11+ hours and cost us over 2100. (The amount of stuff was underestimated and an extra trip to the house and back was necessary.) No tack cloth was used on our carpet so our carpet was filthy when they were done. Not helpful when trying to sell a house. The guys worked hard on a really hot day. Some knobs got sheared off a dresser but that was all the damage -- until the next night when we got broken into at our new place, but that's a whole different story!

Two guys showed up in the morning to prep kitchen island lighting. They left after an hour to "get…read moresupplies." They were gone for several hours and I finally called the office to inquire and request to cancel the job since the guys disappeared for the day. I ran out quickly and when I got back my husband told me the guys had come and gone. I called the office and asked and the woman on the phone told me...as though it was perfectly normal...that they had simply gone back to my house to collect their tools. They left tarp out, wires hanging out of the ceiling, my designer lights for install tossed in a pile on a side table. Absolutely awful experience all around. Completely unprofessional.
