I am a contractor that had to do work after handyman for all came in and did their work. I was not capable of completing my work correctly because "handyman for all" cut so many corners and did such sloppy work that I refused to complete my work because I did not want to tarnish my own reputation by installing a new product on the work of "handyman for all". The poor customer did not have any idea of what kind of sloppy work they did so I set them straight on that. I called the owner of the company so we could straighten this out and I could get my work done correctly, and all she did was chew me out and hang up the phone on me, and kept on repeating herself by saying "it's not my problem". Unfortunately, it was all her fault and now there is a customer of a major account of mine that is stuck with bad workmanship from her company. They are the kind of company that gives all contractors a bad reputation. I strongly advise anybody needing any kind of work done to their home or business stay far and clear of this company. They are unreasonable and not willing to follow up with any kind of issue that comes up. read more

The owner of Handymen For All is very rude. She knows nothing about customer service. She would not give me an opportunity to speak, only stating what she thought was the answer...she wouldn't let me elaborate on any details. She tries to be intimidating on the phone to get what she wants, but what it boils down to is she is simply disrespectful. In this industry, customer service is key!! If you don't have it, there are a ton of places that do and will provide better service. Her attitude is tantamount to her level of service and after reading the other reviews, it's clear that this is not a company you'd want to do business with. BEWARE!!! PLEASE DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE OF HIRING THEM!!!!! Not surprised at the bad reviews for Handymen For All. Let me be the first to admit that we did not do our research and trusted a realtor who referred them. BIG MISTAKE AND LESSON LEARNED!!! A project that should have taken 2-3 days ended up taking 2 months because they had NO CLUE they needed a permit to redo an entire porch structure. UM HELLO??? My husband had to call the City and confirm when Julie told us we did not need a permit. She was WRONG. We found her to be a little unprofessional with the whole process and she would get very rude when discussing this. In the end, she had to get a permit and we waited weeks for this to get approved before we would give her any final payment. We feel as if we got completely ripped off with the price, but that is no one's fault but ours for not shopping around. Also, the materials were cheap, most supplies you get at Home Depot - but charged for premium products!!!! All I am saying is do your research before selecting a company! read more

Do not let this business hang a photo on your wall. The owner and her employees have cost me tens of thousands of dollars in repairs to their work. This woman has a contractor's license to steal. Any other layman would be arrested for obtaining money under false pretenses but because she is licensed in Florida, she can make promises, take your money, present a contract and do work that must all be ripped out and replaced with out any sanctions. BEWARE! U NEED to read this! My review shares the exact same sentiments as all others on Yelp. It's unbelievable they are still in business?! Work they do is sloppy, unsafe, incomplete & downright lazy. woman who owns this co. is shady & takes advantage of ppl. She charges outrageous prices & uses CHEAP materials cutting corners every way she can. She has absolutely no conscience about it. We relied on her to fix problems at our property & the only way to put it honestly is we got ripped off! I was SHOCKED & APPALLED at what I found after an exterior job. She charged us for a "hauling debri fee" yet her worker had dumped ALL the old wood into the woodpile for the fire pit & had sharp rusty nails & screws poking out! This is an EXTREME safety hazard & liability for our tenants too! I almost punctured my hand when I picked one up. It was so much debri that it filled the entire bed of a full size pickup truck. Not only did they dump in the woodpile but also just threw pieces around the yard & patio like the worker had just tossed the stuff to the ground with no regard to safety or respect for our property. But the list of travesties does not end there! They installed the shower handle where u turn the water on upside down, broke several of our patio lights when a worker just walked right on top of them, fixed a gate half assed with new boards that split less than a month after replaced, charged us for other repairs that didn't need to be done or were never done at all. Over the span of 6 years we probably paid close to $9000 more than we should have. There was always "some issue" with the jobs too. Extremely unreliable!!!! We were naive for putting our faith in her for so long but lesson learned. I should've written this review long ago. I hope this helps potential customers. I'm not a hateful, vengeful person nor am I picky or high maintenance. I simply expect to pay a fair price & have the JOB DONE RIGHT! Is that too much to ask for? In an industry that already has a bad rap for unprofessionalism & con artists this is absolutely the WORST I've seen in 25 years of hiring contractors in the construction industry. Stay away from these people. They are horrible, horrendous, and not qualified. Just like has been said, we did not do due diligence. They have an ad in the newspaper of the Condominium which we have a unit needing remodeling. They began work on July 5 and had a decent start which lasted three or four days. On July 24th, we called the owner and GC (Julie), telling her they were fired. (Sorry to sound like Trump!) This group accomplished nothing without a problem. Incomplete remodeling of a shower area (no new concrete board and no new shower pan), the first tile they put up was not according to our specifications, they replaced that, and then used the wrong color grout. The tile is uneven (both wall and floor in the shower bathroom) and the second BR was worse. They added some concrete (fortunately it was a concrete company doing the work, but when they had to grind the new floor to make it even, they DID NOT USE any sheeting to protect the rest of the house. There was concrete dust everywhere. To add to this, their foreman was sick two Friday's, so no work was done. No permits were pulled for the work they were to do,no 'Notice of Commencement' was posted. Stay away from them. read more
