Haneefa’s Travel Treasures was founded from a deeply personal journey. After a career with several organizations within the United Nations system—including UNHCR, WHO, UNICEF, the World Food Programme, The Global Fund, and UN Peacekeeping Operations—I developed a global perspective, cultural awareness, and a strong commitment to service that now shapes my work as a travel advisor. The true inspiration behind my business comes from my role as a mother and caregiver to two children with Microcephaly and Autism. Through this experience, I saw how overwhelming travel planning can be for families with special needs. In 2024, I created Haneefa’s Travel Treasures to bridge that gap—combining professional expertise with personal insight to design inclusive, thoughtful travel experiences. Today, based in Georgia, I serve clients locally and worldwide with personalized, well-supported itineraries.
