I would not recommend the one in East Hartford Connecticut for…read moreanyone who lives in New York State as the boss only cares about the distance and will decide for you whether or not it is feasible to drive back and forth for multiple appointments. I even had my insurance company call them and Monica, office manager kept diverting away from the conversation and referring back to the fact the boss won't take patients from New York State even though they accept NYS insurance. Deciding for you what is feasible is highly inappropriate and unprofessional for anyone when patients can't get someone in their state who makes the kind of orthotics that are needed. If your website says that you accept all patients than you have an obligation. I hope they see this and realize that because of their ignorance they have lost a long time customer.

After only 3 attempts he discharged the patient from the office & subsequently had the patient banned from all Neops! With Dave it's basically 1-2-3 & if he encounters any difficulty with your case he'll boot you quickly. You've been warned. Better off going to another Neops location or another company. If anyone has any questions feel free to contact me & I'll supply documentation of experience @ Neops, E. Hartford, Ct.

I spent about six months working on getting custom compression garments through them before giving up, as they seemed to be one of the only local suppliers of custom garments. I knew I might be between insurance plans by the time I could get garments and anticipated that getting custom garments approved by insurance would be difficult regardless. Because of this, I confirmed by phone that I could pay out of pocket for custom compression garments and was told there were even options for payment plans. After spending many hours reviewing all of the available premade garments and their measurements, I knew I would need custom garments. I was informed that I needed to have measurements taken by someone with the company to get the compression garments, so I took time off work to go in and have measurements done. My experience with the person taking the measurements (Kim) was not good. I explained to Kim that I needed measurements to get custom compression garments and understood I would likely pay out of pocket. Measurements were only taken for standard garments. I felt my questions and concerns were not well addressed during the appointment. Kim did not inform me that she was not taking measurements for custom garments, which I understood to be the purpose of the appointment, until I returned with follow-up questions. At that point, she advised that she only took measurements for standard garments to go through insurance, despite my having already concluded that the premade garments would not work due to my measurements and the joints I needed the garments to cover, and that I was okay with paying out of pocket. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this company.

Back in September of 2021 I went to a podiatrist before Dr. Wagner for heel/foot pain AFTER doing a month of stretches and cold therapy. The doctor said I needed to stretch more do more P/T and buy orthotics from a place she recommended. I asked about an injection and she said the area was too big of an area where I indicated my pain was. I spent the next month in pain before calling Dr. Wagner's office in near tears because of the pain. Every morning until I got into bed at night the foot was so painful. One of my dogs jumped on the bed and grazed my foot I thought I was going to pass out. I call his office the next day and I'm given a SAME day appointment because I'm almost in tears. I'm a big guy, there's no hiding that fact. Dr Wagner never once said he couldn't help me because of my size/weight which is what some practitioners utter first before anything. A full set of X-rays, a diabetic foot check, a nail trim, and then doc says you're gonna walk outta here without a problem. A 30 second injection into my foot in a couple of areas and I'm finished. He has me wait a couple of minutes before putting my shoes and socks on, which he politely offered to help with. I start to hovel out of the exam room because I have been so used to walking like I'm wearing high heels because pressure on the middle and her have hurt so much. I get into the car to start my drive home and realize that I just walked out of the doctors office with my foot fully touching the ground. I start to think, did I just imagine myself walking like that? I am really not in pain or did I just create an alternate reality to block out the pain? I get home, take a deep breathe as I place my foot on the ground and step down from the truck. There's no pain. No. Pain. At. All. I'm walking. Not wincing, not walking on my tippy toes, not thinking about cutting my foot off. Dr. Wagner and his team are amazing!! Besides my other half he's the only person I will allow to touch my feet. This man is an amazing podiatrist and if you need help go see him!
