The barrier to entry was super low. I used their first time patient special, which included an x-ray, an adjustment, and a one hour massage, all for just $21. That is an amazing value, especially considering the level of care and time they have already given me. They also work with my insurance provider, and I believe most others, which makes continuing care that much easier. I have not had my massage yet, but I am confident Cara will do a great job. Dr. Kaufman is an incredibly talented professional and understands the word 'communication.' He talks in a way the common person can understand, but more importantly, he listens. He never interrupts anyone including his staff or the patient. He is great with the knowledge of his talents and his hands compare to the first chair violinist at the Philharmonic. It is hard to put into words of this talented doctor. Some words would be incredible, amazing, extraordinary and phenomenal. Dr. Kaufman has hired an incredible staff. His nurse's and receptionists are friendly, energetic and extremely confident with the tasks they perform. The Ultrasound Technician, which is critical for the procedures, knows the anatomy of the vein structures and communicates to Dr. Kaufman for the successful operation. Dr. Kaufman listens to the Ultrasound Technician and trusts her direction for him to move the surgical instruments to the correct placement. Again, this where Dr. Kaufman displays great leadership skills. He has assigned his staff their duties and he has the confidence that they will perform them without having to 'hover over' them to be sure it is done. Last night, I was experiencing such excruciating lower back pain that I very seriously considered…read moregoing to the emergency room. To avoid spending a few hundred dollars and waiting in the ER for hours only to receive minimal relief in the form of a few pain killers, I decided to bite the bullet and try to make it through the night. This morning, I spoke with a relative for advice, and they referred me to Elevate Sport and Spine Center based on their experiences with Dr. John Kuruc. Despite initial skepticism because of my poor experiences with a different chiropractor earlier in the week, I decided to call Elevate. Dr. John and Dr. Jessi were extremely friendly and made accommodations to get me into the office within an hour of my call. I spoke with Dr. John one-on-one, uninterrupted for 30-45 minutes as he took the time to really inspect my back and explain to me his thought process on my injury and recommendations for treatment. He was very engaging and was sure to listen and answer any questions that I had regarding my injury and what I could do to expedite my recovery. He didn't just give me an x-ray, adjust my back, and tell me to come back 3x per week for the next 3 months as many chiropractors would do. He spent the time required to understand and treat my pain, and as a result, I feel so much better from a physical standpoint. I firmly believe that Dr. John knows what is wrong with my back and plans on treating me in the most optimal way for MY health, not for his financial benefit. Dr. John and Dr. Jessi are not the chiropractors who put you on an extended 6-month treatment plan so they can collect your payments.
