PTs are booked out 5-6weeks in advance, so if you're new or if your PT leaves and you get shuffled to another, be prepared to wait and wait or get shuffled to another PT, not ideal for consistency. I think it's reasonable that if you're an established patient with a PT, there should be an opening within 2 weeks to see them. It shouldn't be, get an eval, and then we'll put you on a cancellation list and if not, we'll see you in a month or more for treatment. If I hadn't already started with them, I'd go somewhere else. Wouldn't recommend until they can hire more staff or get a better system of being able to balance their patient loads.

He told me that he typically had "80% improvement for 80% of the people he treated. My first session of stem cell injections, with stem cells (he said) taken from my blood, along with hyaluronic acid as I recall, cost me $6,260. My next session, on June 30th, cost me another $6, 250. On July 7, I paid $1,300 for a "Plasma Rich Protein" injection, supposedly to stimulate cellular production. I continued regular treatments over the next 10 months, with payments totaling $ 18,493.00. When I was last in his office about a month ago, I stood at his receptionist's window waiting patiently while four chattering women chattered at a back desk, ignoring me. I finally got their attention, apparently making them mad, because one of them told the Dr. that I had "touched her shoulder". Well, that's possible . . . when I am talking with people, men or women, I will often touch them during the conversation. So, I can not dispute that. But I say "big deal". Anyway, after that session (for which he dinged me ANOTHER $1,625), he told me that although "he liked me" (I guess so!), he wouldn't see me again because I had "touched his employee's shoulder". I call BS! He had done all he could with his bogus stem cell injections (STILL not FDA approved, because "the cells may mutate which could cause tumors") Gulp! But he does them anyway. And now I see his method: Milk the poor sap with the hurting knees, shoulder, whatever, for all he can get, then kick him loose with any bogus excuse he can come up with. A few days ago I had a hyaluronic acid injection in my shoulder from a Humana doctor. I have had immediate relief, with absolutely NO cost to me . . . it was covered under my insurance. My advice to you, should you be seeking this opportunist's services, is to not. Do your research, then try something that is FDA approved, because that means it is tried and true!

It was 11:46 and she told me that they were no longer able to see me, and they would need to reschedule. Needless to say I had already left work early and was standing in front of them ready for my appt. I asked that she ask the dr again if they would be able to see me since they didn't rescheduled my appointment and she said no. The only time they would be able to get me in was a week later at 10... overall I left and will find a new orthopedic surgeon if that is how they treat customers that are in the office ready for a appointment and they won't take 5 second to just add my name back into the schedule.

This doctor saved my life not once...but twice!…read more I had neck surgery done several years ago by a local orthopedic surgeon, who accidentally ripped my esophagus during the procedure. A week later, I had 13 post surgical infections. Luckily Dr. Peskind was on call the night I came into the ER. Yeah, he was a little doom and gloomy when I first met him, but in all reality it WAS that serious, and he was concerned. Like a night in shining armor, he helped clean the infection up with a few more surgeries and repaired the rip and put me on a life saving antibiotic regimen, then sent me home to recover for a few more months. Remember I have this huge hole in my throat, with no way to eat...so they had to put a picc line in to get me nutrition. Well, one day my neck starts to hurt pretty bad, so I return to my orthopedic surgeon. He looked me over and couldn't find anything. The pain was pretty unbearable and was warm and tender to the touch and I wasn't willing to ignore it. I didn't know exactly what was going on, but I did know enough to trust my gut which was telling me to go directly to Dr. Peskind's office. He evaluated me and concluded that I most likely had a blood clot as a result of some sort of problem with my picc line. He called the hospital and got me set up with an overnight stay with all the tests I needed. I didn't even have to wait in the stupid ER. True VIP service. It turns out he was right. I did have a blood clot. So there you have it. A man who saved my life twice. Maybe he wasn't as touchy feely as I am. After, the whole save-my-life-thing-twice occurred, I went in to give him a heartfelt "thank you" and reached my arms out in an embracing fashion. He completely froze up and a little terrified said, "Oh God, you're going to hug me now aren't you?" "Yep, that's what you get for saving my life. Deal with it!"
