It wasn't until I was walking home that I realized I had had no blood work done. I called back to inquire why and the receptionist check with the doctor who said he wanted to wait until I had my new insurance. Not that I hold alot of sway to offices, but this one was kind of like a rental car waiting room, in the basement. And while I was waiting some guy was listening to language tapes loudly w/o earphones. In my opinion the receptionist should have told him to take it outside. After about 20 min. of that I had to ask him to put earphones in or take it outside. Kind of a waste of 2 hrs. of my time all around. Certainly a useless apt.

I had worked out since I was a teen to manage chronic pain, fibromyalgia, muscle spasms and nerve damage. I was told after a long and extensive open abdominal surgery, that I should never exercise again for the rest of my life, except for walking or risk an abdominal hernia. Thankfully my PCP gave me a script for PT and I made an appointment with Strive after explaining my history and questioning them if they could help design a safe workout for me.
