If I could give Justyna from Hanging on a Moment Photography 10 stars, I would! We have used Justyna twice, for our family portraits and for my sons first birthday pictures. This review includes both of those experiences... which were fabulous! We met with Justyna initially do to our family portraits. When we initially spoke with her, she took the time to really get to know what we were looking for out of the photographs. She asked the right questions and really made us feel like she knew what she was talking about. Justyna suggested a few places to take our portraits and we decided to take them on the beach. When we arrived at the beach on Saturday morning, she was dressed professionally and had all of her equipment set up and ready to go. She had come early to scope out the area, and had several suggestions of where we could take pictures along the shore line. You could see that she was very excited about getting started, and truly loved and cared about what she was doing. Her excitement spilled over into us, and we were ready to go. Justyna really let us do our thing and interact as a family, only suggesting a few minor changes on our part to get a great picture. Never once did we feel uncomfortable our under a microscope, as can often happen with a photographer. Through our session, she really impressed us with her eye and her ability to see a picture before we even got there, and by the time we left we were very excited for our pictures. When we received our pictures back, we could have not been happier! They came in a very timely manner, and look stunning framed throughout our house. Our favorite pictures though are not only those that we took in a "portrait" pose, but those that she took while we weren't looking. Some of those candids are priceless! Once we had received the photos from the family session, we knew Justyna was the one to take my sons first birthday pictures. Again, after carefully listening to what we wanted, she suggested a unique "tub" session on a bridge by the beach, followed by a little cake smashing! When we met her there, she had all of the props set up and ready to go (which anyone with a baby can greatly appreciate). Zach took an immediate liking to Justyna's calm and engaging personalilty. She didn't fuss over him, allowing his personality to shine through. When the pictures came back this time, they were some of the absolute best pictures I've ever seen, period. She did an amazing job. The pictures should speak for themselves. Justyna has developed lifelong clients in our family, and we look forward to many years ahead with her! She's fantastic! read more

An incredibly talented photographer, and one of the sweetest people you will meet, Justyna will truly give you photos that you cherish forever. Our family has booked half a dozen sessions with her over the years, through both my pregnancies, and I couldn't ask for a more creative, patient, just truly talented photographer. We have done both outdoor and in-studio sessions with her, and she is superb with both. She has been sweet and patient with my creative demands, guiding me gently to an even better option. She has been just an angel with my newborns, and my hellion of a toddler who brought mayhem to her studio. But most importantly, she is a wonderfully knowledgeable and professional photographer. Her work speaks for itself. I didn't really appreciate how big a role editing can play until one session when my child made it very difficult to capture any family shots. To my amazement, Justyna was still able to deliver wonderful family photos to us. I'm sure it required hours of editing on her part, but she was able to pull it off. She is very hard working, and she will accommodate your tastes and requests. Our family will surely be returning to her for years to come. I recommend you do the same. Professionalism, creativity and artistry are three words that come to mind when thinking of Justyna from Hanging on a Moment. My first experience working with Justyna involved her taking maternity pictures of me with my son. Sometimes pregnant women don't feel confident and beautiful-this was not the case when Justyna phootgraphed me! Her use of creative posing and natural light gave my maternity pictures an amazing glow. The second time I worked with Justyna she photographed my newborn, as well as my 2 1/2 year old. From the moment my photo shoot started, Justyna handled my two children with patience and kindness. Not even a temper tantrum or two from my son could wipe the smile and sunny disposition from Justyna. She was confident and loving while posing my newborn, getting just the right shots. She was joking and funny while shooting my 2 1/2 year old, winning him over with her sweet personality. For both photo sessions, Justyna arrived promptly, armed with several props and background options. It was obvious that she thought about our photo shoots ahead of time. She had several pose ideas in mind, but also asked for my feedback and input. Justyna sent me the photos very promptly; in fact she sent me the photos earlier than she promised them. Her editing work is truly amazing! My husband and I had a difficult time narrowing down the photos to purchase-they were all so gorgeous. I cannot recommend Justyna from Hanging on a Moment enough. Whether taking newborn shots, family shots or everyday shots, she has a unique git for finding the perfect shots. She has given us a truly wonderful gift-pictures of our children to treasure forever. She is able to take the perfect blend of posed photos as well as candids. She took the time to really get to know the style of photography that my husband and I like.
