DON'T THINK TWICE - HIRE PAR LA MER PHOTOGRAPHY. Photography was one of the last things I booked, because I was struggling in this department. Struggling with cost, with editing techniques, and hiring a person who would pose us, make us laugh, and want to have fun with us. She set up an initial zoom call to over the thoughts of my day, and we instantly connected, and I knew she was going to be amazing. Super personable, easy to relate to, a mom and wife, who just wants to capture the best for her clients, and have the most fun while doing it, while being their most authentic self. I LOVED that she includes engagement sessions in her packages (even though I was indifferent to an engagement shoot - which made me feel less pressure about) - I felt even more comfortable and confident with her, after our amazing engagement session. She made an hour go by so quickly, and got amazing shots. Fast forward to our wedding day and just WOW! I have no words to describe how great Tonya was. My husband and I had our dream wedding in April 2019, however our photos did not reflect that. We liked the photos but didn't love it. After a few months of disappointment, I decided to re take my wedding photos. I thoroughly looked for a photographer who's portfolio I liked. I spoke with 4 or 5 photographers, and while I liked them all, I ultimately picked working with Parlamer because of her warm personality and understanding demeanor. I also chose to go with her because of her portfolio had exactly what my first set of wedding photos lacked. She had warmth and soft romantic shots that to me were exquisite. Her photos housed chemistry, and I could feel the true passion between the couples and the camera. I was so obsessed with her work that we booked her right away. We had planned on taking the photos at a park about an hour away from our house but the Labor Day weekend traffic on i95 said otherwise. We quickly changed the setting of the photos to a park in Old Greenwich that Tonya had never been to. She got there 30 minutes early and scoped out the area. Our shoot was fun, organic, and easy! We had a blast and I was able to get all of the shots that I wish I had gotten on my actual wedding day. The stress free atmosphere, relaxed photographer and no pressure from our families made for beautiful wedding pictures. We got a new sneak peaks within a few days and we got the entire gallery 3 weeks later. The photos are breathtaking. I thought they would come out good but these photos came out amazing. We couldn't stop looking them. They had the exact soft, romantic look that we wanted. The photos werent super edited or over airbrushed at all and she had a quick response rate which I liked.
