The insertion itself was quick, but when I left the facility, my [arm/hand] at the IV site was already noticeably swollen and felt tight. It was obvious the needle had infiltrated (fluid leaked into the surrounding tissue instead of staying in the vein), which is a basic complication that should be caught and addressed before discharging a client. No one thoroughly checked the site or monitored for signs of infiltration during or right before I left. I wasn't given any specific aftercare warnings about watching for swelling, pain, or what to do if it happened. This is a medical procedure, not just a spa treatment--proper technique, monitoring, and post-IV assessment are essential to prevent exactly this kind of issue. Sending someone out with an obvious swollen site is unacceptable and feels negligent. Decided to try an NAD treatment with hydration as I was feeling drained. Read a lot of good reviews for Hangover Heaven and luckily they had an availability at the time that I needed. The clinic was easy to find, right off Spring Mountain. We were greeted warmly by the team, Chrisa and Kat. The clinic was warm and inviting. Decor was classic Vegas, made you feel you were In the right place. The team discussed the treatment and process at length making sure I was comfortable with everything. After agreeing on the treatment plan they proceeded to prepare as we chose which seats to get comfortable in as the infusion would take about 1hr and 30min, depending on your tolerance. All the reclining chairs were super comfortable, swivels, and we had chairs that had a heated massage. The infusion went very well, Kat got an IV in me in one try. She took her time explaining every step of the process before it happens. She made me feel very confident in her skills. After the treatment I felt very refreshed. I hope my experience was an isolated incident, but it was not great. They were very kind when I walked in and super helpful, but the actual service was pretty bad. The nurse first tried to put the IV in my right arm (where I always get blood drawn, IVs, etc.) and could not find my vein. So she moved the needle around (which when you're already a little nauseous is not exactly pleasant). She said she found it and started the fluid. I immediately felt the worst burning sensation and looked down at my arm and there was a golf ball sized lump under my skin. She pulled the IV out moved on to the other arm. She had a hard time in my other arm too but finally found the vein. After the treatment I didn't really feel that much better and I wasn't really that hungover. What made me more nauseous than anything was the feeling around in my arm. My arms were both so badly bruised. They still are and it has been a few days since the treatment and I never bruise from IVs. I probably wouldn't come back to this place, there are a lot of other options in Las Vegas. read more

So my husband and I were heading up to Brianhead for a ski weekend and decided to drop in for a Myers cocktail (I may have misspelled that) that we heard rave reviews about.
