It was raining, we needed everything she come in you make the first left and you're in a produce department and everybody is so nice found what we needed. I forgot to get the ice. They sent a guy to go get the ice for me. He was so nice and polite may be gone a minute or two and here he comes with a big smile on his face with a bag of ice. Pretty standard Hannaford. Sushi bar is good for grocery store sushi. They occasional have dr pepper zero bottles in stock so they get my grocery money just on the chance they might have some in stock while I am. Staff is always helpful and lines tend to move quickly. Their produce tends to be in good shape. read more

I'm not in San Fran first of all. The reason why I'm giving this Concord, NH store is a. it's super clean b. the workers are really nice c. the sushi guy is my main reason for giving this review. I wish I knew his name. But that guy is number one in my book. I've lived in many states, and no one is nicer or more respectful of his ingredients than this man was. The quality of produce and stocked shelves makes it worth the trip. Customers are also more courteous than at Market Basket on Fort Eddy Rd. because at Hannaford, most wear masks, keep distance, and follow directions. MB atmosphere is less welcoming and less safe. Knuckle dragging butchers really turn this mediocre grocery store into a place that should be passed up. If it's not in the display case that they can point out, they won't do it. Want a steak cut a bit thinner? Nope. Want a custom cut of an existing meat? Nope. Want them to Split up a large chunk for your family? No way. Want them to patronizingly tell you how to do it yourself while standing under a sign that explicitly states "Custom Cuts"? Oh they can do that and less. With everything going on I fully expected to enter absolute chaos when I went grocery shopping yesterday. What I found at this Hannaford was a huge sigh of relief for me -- the store was clean and nearly fully stocked, employees were working to disinfect carts between customers, and everyone I interacted with was so upbeat and kind. VERY disappointed to find out that Hannaford doesn't sell gluten free bread. Had to make a separate trip to Market Basket to do so. The only thing however that I do love about Hannaford is the Daiya cheesecakes. read more

After the *red slime * became public on the news I began asking my grocer to grind roasts for me right there in the store. Well I went to the Concord NH Hannafords last week and was informed that it now their POLICY not to grind meat fresh for customers any longer. ( I was actually given several *excuses * from the manager ranging from they needed a new table to they couldn't grind meat they weren't sure of ( ummm.. HOW CAN they NOT BE SURE of a ROAST that THEY are SELLING ???) If it's questionable for purchase as ground meat won't it be questionable to sell as a roast too? Anyway.. I had to call the corporate office to get the full story. Well I jumped in my car & went 250 feet down the road to Market Basket ( their prices are better anyway) THEY ground my meat for me WITH A SMILE! THANK YOU MARKET BASKET! read more

Home for the holidays, and went to buy a turkey and all the trimmings the day before Thanksgiving. During the first snowstorm of the year. Nevertheless, the store was efficiently and the staff were friendly and helpful. There was actually a staff member just hanging around the meat department answering questions about turkey prep. Cart boys were all smiles. Also, huge kudos to Hannaford for employing people with disabilities. Disabled staff members are always visible, active members of the team. Definitely something the management and staff should be proud of. read more

I have shopped there since it first opened. They have now changed the entire store around for the 4th time. They do not have a lot of the healthy things I used to get there. I have now changed to shopping at Hannaford in Manchester and to Whole Foods. Not worth the drive to in Concord. read more

i love their selection of cheese and dietary selections, but don't go early in the morning ,they have only one register open and that is for 15 items or less, i asked if they cold open another lane , because of the upset customers needing to check out quickly. i was checking out with a full cart, but the woman at the register said no, no one around at that time to operate another register. this happened every time i tried to shop in the early hours, when i need to do my shopping. usually ok later in the AM, Very unhappy with this system they started in the earlier am. If you order from Hannaford to Go do not leave the lot until you check everything that you ordered. Just got our grocery order and for whatever reason we got none of the meat products we ordered and were missing most of the produce we ordered. Very disappointing when you pick it up after work and get home to find you have to order pizza because so much is missing you can't make dinner! read more

First let me say that I have shopped in the Concord, NH Hannaford for many years and have always been treated well and like the store. My recent issue concerns the Hannaford Rewards Program. I joined shortly after it started and had problems with it taking my coupons off my bill the first couple of times but figured that would be worked out in time and it was for the most part. About three and a half weeks ago I spent over ninety dollars to get the nine dollar coupon off an eighty dollar bill. When the teller totaled the bill there was a dollar off another item from the rewards program but did not take the nine dollars off. The checkout person although nice was not helpful and gave me a phone number to call since he said corporate had to deal with it. The manager was not available he said after I asked to speak to him. I called the number and a disinterested person on the other end said I would get a gift card in about a week. Three weeks later I called and got another person that was bordering on rude and she said I had to be patient. Not the right response. I'm still waiting for that card. I am very disappointed in Hannaford's response to what I feel should have been an easy fix. Like maybe giving me a gift card in the store. I did use the rewards coupons last week with no problem so obviously was a Hannaford issue. Even an apology would have been nice since I have always been a loyal customer. read more

About a decade ago, I wouldn't go to Hannafords because I felt they were a bit pricey and I was a Market Basket shopper anyways, still am. However, throughout the past few years I started visiting Hannaford again and was pleasantly surprised the prices were more competitive. They have a good variety of brands and fresh meat and seafood. I still feel the meat and seafood is a bit pricey even taken the market price in consideration. I still like going through and grabbing things on sale. Customer service seems good as well. Again though, I do not do 100% of my shopping there. read more

I wish I could rate the customers of a store instead of the store itself, because that is truly the one problem with this store. Yeah, this hannaford doesn't have all the products that other hannafords do. But the people that I see shop here are some of the mean spirited, snobby no good fucks I've ever come in contact with. The parking lot is full of incompetent drivers year round, and the people will cut you in line and complain about you, just because they think they're the shit because they shop at hannaford. Most of the customers consist of either grouchy old ass people who care too much about the 33 fucking cents they're getting on rewards, or 27-35 year old parents who give you attitude when you politely say excuse me, and give you a dirty look as they move their mindless spoiled child in the middle of the aside. There are good customers too, and the ones who are good are amazing local people, always make my day when I see them. But they definitely are outnumbered by all the incompetent people who shop here. read more
