As she gravitated toward the Balsamic vinegars, he approached my cousin offering her a sample. Lemon infused, I could tell by the look on her face she was underwhelmed. Clearly peeved at the lack of enthusiasm on her part, he asked in a rather supercilious tone where she bought her vinegar. " Not the grocery store I hope." As he proceeded to mansplain vinegar to her, I quietly return to the shelves the several items I had picked up to purchase. She looked over her shoulder at me and gave me that look that people do, which says., "Help me get away from this fool!" I was in total agreement that we could both happily do without overpriced pasta, Maine-branded tchotchkes, and less-than stellar bottles of vinegar, unsurprisingly priced at some ungodly amount that would feed a family of four dinner. A dinner that would include salad, dressed with balsamic vinegar from the (Oh Horrors!) grocery store.

They have a weird selection of store brands from other stores, small produce selection, pre-cut deli, and lots of baked goods, chips, vacation snacks and more. They have a good beer selection and the UFO next door has even more beer. They also have an entire aisle dedicated to Naples clothing where we got t-shirts for the kids and sweatshirts. The clothing is cheaper than buying it at one of the gift shops down on the causeway. The negatives are that the parking lot gets very crowded on Saturdays in the summer and it can be tough to park a big truck in there. The check out lines can also get long especially on the far side of the store where they sell the cigarettes. Avoid that line if you can!

I was surprised by the renovations but seeming as I haven't set foot in here in over 15 years, I'm not sure why. I was definitely confused by the new layout however felt that it gave a fresh and clean look to the store. The true reason behind my review today is due to the two nice individuals who helped me at self-checkout, one who simply just helped me remove an item that I have double-scanned and the other was one of the managers who helped adjust the price for an item that was scanning in more expensive than the price label indicated it was. They were so understanding and fixed the problem with ease-- I really appreciated it! As I mentioned above, I typically choose to use my Walmart+ for delivery over going to the store so do not have many experiences to speak on but I do know that if I ever do need to step foot in a Walmart again, I will be choosing the Walmart location over Auburn any day.

She said she could take some off the shelf, however, they turned out to be Potato sub rolls, and not that fresh, and only 8 to a package.
