The first one had no openings and Annabelle said she could fit me in. Unfortunately, nobody could squeeze me in the day of but Annabelle said, "if you can't find someone... let me know!" So, without hesitation I told her I'd book with her, plus I wanted to help her build her clientele since she was new to the fallbrook area. I was now on the books! As the days got closer to Wednesday, I got more and more giddy about my Appt! Massages are a good part of my life since I work a very physically demanding job on Camp Pendleton. Finally, Wednesday rolled around and I had texted Annabelle if I could bump my Appt earlier and she was able to accommodate the request. I arrived 15 min early and I finally got to meet Annabelle in person. In was great with a friendly smile and she definitely has great energy flowing from her presence. She started chatting away about expectations and about personal topics like life and family. Now, the main reason I was there! I was searching for a local masseuse in fallbrook who could take care of my stressors from work which causes me to have anxiety, tense and achy muscles and other such symptoms. I already had an expectation in my mind about Annabelle and her massage expertise... she has great energy and seemed very down to earth. She was easy to talk to and was a very good listener. Her voice is soft, sweet and soothing to listen to. At this point, I felt it was going to be a great Massage. Her techniques happen to help me in what I needed. At one point, I was thinking maybe my pain tolerance isn't as high as I thought but based on my breathing and groans she adjusted accordingly. I was very pleasantly surprised with her techniques and her "bedside" manners...she is very knowledgeable about her craft! I was 100% satisfied with my massage therapy appointment. But not just that.... Annabelle is the real deal full package. Mind, body and soul we're all aligned. She's definitely a keeper! After, Annabelle did a reading on me and my wife! I took a reiki 1 certification course and on the second day, she got weird. To me she felt a little paranoid of "bad energy" and even stopped the class to provide my sister and I a "reiki cleanse" as in her own word she needed "to detach" from the energy. I didnt think much of it at first and respected her judgement since I thought, "she must know what she's talking about" but after reflecting more on it and allowing time and my own search, I see it as unprofessional and almost borderline paranoid. Her anxiety got projected onto mine. Even my sister felt the same. The reason I went along with it was because I didn't know what to expect, I've never had an experience like that one as I was hoping to seek a more holistic humanistic one. Its been a year so maybe she's worked through that fear of her, who knows. But this was my experience when attending a year ago. Lots of "do and don't". Weird.
