Fresh serves high quality food, both Asian and English, and attention to detail is given for both cuisines respectively. The menu is exquisite and well-presented, and the 'Hong Kong style' offers a different take on regular dishes. Unlike other takeaways, Fresh is open from 11.30am till 8pm. This is a unique idea but unfortunately means the place is closed when most people choose to order a Chinese to eat with their weekly dose of Skins, Peep Show or Mock the Week. However, it does mean that a picnic in the local park could be a bit different - a selection of Chinese bites at lunchtime doesn't sound like a bad idea to me!

They have lots of lovely food here, that you wouldn't find in a typical chinese restaurant (because it is Malaysian food), like Nasi Lemak, Curry Mee and desserts like Bubur Cha Cha and Red Bean soup. If you aren't already familiar with Malaysian cuisine, those names won't mean much to you, but if you are, you will know they are fantastically tasty - and this place makes it well. They also serve bubble tea here (a hot or cold tea with tapioca pearls), which is the only place in Bristol that I know of that does it. I would highly recommend this place for those of you that haven't tried it out yet and are bored of typical chinese restaurant food. A real treat, two thumbs up.
