The campground itself is just fine; many wooded sites and lots of grass. Has a play area for kids also. Very close to ORV trails as well. The owners are very pleasant. HOWEVER, none of that was enough to offset the conditions of the bath house. Firstly, the shower area (separated from the toilet area by a partial door) has no private space for drying off and changing. There are 3 shower stalls and just one big open area with a bench. The only way to have privacy would be to dry off and get dressed inside the shower stall. No thanks! There are also huge areas of peeling paint with mildew growing beneath. The last straw was the multitude of dead insects clearly visible inside the soap dispenser in the sink area. That is simply unacceptable. Much better accommodations can be found for the price of these sites ($26.50/night). If you have your own bathroom facilities in your camper, this would not be an issue for you, so if you are looking to be close to the trails, this place would be fine. read more
