Then they said they'd have a refund check at the counter. There was no check and then they said they'd put it on my credit card and it'd post in about 5-8 days that never happened either. Then I cancelled my membership on July 1st and asked for an email confirmation. That email never came. Now I have another month's dues coming out. I super love wasting my time fighting them with my bank. I'm much happier at California Family Fitness, it's more money, but they have FAR nicer facilities.

I have been taking spinning classes under the instruction of Davidjon for a couple months now, and would probably look a little different if I attended regularly. But, hey it's my summer right now and I have vacations to go on and mornings to sleep away. Davidjon is an awesome, motivating instructor that came from a bigger gym chain before he opened this business. There are spinning classes 2 times a day all week and one on Saturday. He also does private personal training sessions as well. See his website for more details! He also gives quite an incentive if you are signing up for classes for the first time. Also, if you want to check out a spin class the first class is FREE! So, what have you got to lose? As for spinning itself, it's an amazing workout! If you haven't tried it you are seriously missing out! The music selection is awesome and gets me going and motivated to work out hard during the 6am hour, which is normally when I attend. The 6pm classes are pretty crowded, which is why I avoid them. Plus, the traffic on Sunrise is a disaster at that time. What's also cool is that on my way there in the morning, I get to drive through the cute town of Fair Oaks and I can hear the roosters crowing to greet me and wake me up! I am totally an advocate of local businesses and I am so glad I found this place. I was just exploring the neighborhood and saw the big sign outside that read SPINNING. I would name some but I have had such awesome hospitality every time and every part of the day when I come. The gym floor layout is smooth and functional. The all tracks the peak levels so you can see if you want to deal with the crowds or not. They also have mini functional workout area in the back which is nice. The smoothies are really well made and great for after a workout. There is room where you can watch movies and walk or run, I don't even have to elaborate on how awesome that is. The recovery room !! The recovery room !! Yes that's the truth !! I hold memberships all over the city so I choose to come here first a lot. Last sad note they aren't in Texas , so that sucks but great while it lasted.

I got to say I loved this gym for what it was but in January 2025 I had hurt myself and became…read moredisabled. In February 2025 I had called the club to ask to cancel my account. Letting her know I couldn't even walk to come in and cancel. She explained they would handle everything and if I would like to come back I would be allowed to re-instate without having to re-sign up and pay another fee. She said if not it would stay canceled. In June I noticed it was still being charged. I called and spoke with someone that stated they saw my notation on my account and they would work on cancelling my account. In October I noticed I was still being charged for the membership so I spoke to Blake on the 10th who told me he would cancel it however in order to get any sort of refund I would have to speak with Emily. He stated she was on vacation however she was coming back the next day and he would leave a note for her to call me. Assuming he was going to live up to his word I didn't think anything of it. I even thought I would forgo asking for compensation or a refund. Today January 9th 2026 nearly a year later from the original call I finally got ahold of Emily after speaking with Seth and Brianna. All I wanted was an apology and for my account to finally be cancelled. She stated she looked over my account and found no cancellation requests. She stated I would have had to come in but how in the world was I supposed to do that at the time if I was disabled and I was told over the phone it had been canceled. I asked her why her staff never informed me. She insisted on the ways to cancel yet she confirmed she cancelled it today. Apparently they had to the option to do it. I asked her why she never called me back after all the times I've called. She insisted she was "now going to hang up on me". This girl is awful to speak to carrying no remorse. I told her this is why Amazon was sued because they made it so hard to cancel. She had a reason for everything and did a very good job at making me upset rather than helping. If she only just took a moment to listen and help rather than rudely rush me off the phone. There was not a single ounce of happiness in her voice and I still have no idea what's going on. All I wanted is to be compensated from the time I asked to cancel in February 2025 to January 2026.
