County Line Animal Hospital - My sweet little guy, he is missed so very much. He deserved so much better.

They also had him on a medication that I found out causes severe liver damage with long term use. I knew I had to find a new vet and I was familiar with Dr Bowman so I have been taking the dog there and I just want to say that it is so refreshing to find a vet that truly cares about the animals, has a passion for healing these pets and it is so affordable. Every visit there is a great experience and all the staff is so kind. Thank you County Line for being a trusted place to bring our pets.

I wish I'd never found this place. They doubble charged me for services, with an expectation of a refund in about 5 days; these are services that jumpped up by the hundreds every time i spoke to them. And when the vet finally showed up for the emergency visit, several hours late, he did everything that the textbooks adamently state must not be done for this animal. My 5 year old baby was put under full sedation (which notoriously kills this type of animal). To preform a procedure that due to the physical anatomy of this animal is IMPOSSIBLE. Every single text/study/training/guide says DO NOT DO THIS, YOU WILL SEVIERLY INJURE THE ANIMAL AND CAUSE HORRIFIC PAIN. even under full sedation my sweet baby was screaming in pain while the "profesional" was torturing him. After poking and proding my pet for two hours, needlessly stabbing him with needels around his abdomen numerous times, just to prove a point; he did not wake up from the sedation. He aspirated around midnight that night, suffocating in his own vomit because he was not capable of purging it from his airway. The vet was told that my animal was a pet, not livestock, yet took no regard as to what that meant. The vet was questioned every step along the way, because what he was doing had been researched fully and contridickted with anything that the experts advised. My pet should have still had 20 years to be a happy little addition to my family, but instead we had to burry him the next morning with his favorite toys and his softest blankey. Please be cautious if you end up needing emergency services for a pet, look elsewhere. These people did not have my pets best interest in mind, they simply thought about the dollar signs they would get for the alloted time.

The Russell Inn Rescue & Retire - This is too much fun! Right at the start of sunset, a mutt can't decide which tennis ball that he wants to retrieve.

Dogs always know when they've been saved from a Kennel environment and brought into a HOME as a new welcome to the entire family as a furry family member. They are not just man's best friend. They are everyone's best friend even with all sorts of breeds of dogs and humans. If I were a dog and needed boarding, I highly recommend The Russell Inn if your dog loves nature walks, community living and get togethers for play time, and live in a much more open-environment than a standard concrete room and occasional 15 minute potty breaks. This place promotes healthy exercise which is great for the mental, physical, and fat burning that dogs should be getting at all kennels. There is not another "kennel" like this one. Nothing compares to the quality of attention, affection, music therapy, and a sense of indoor and outdoor living throughout the day. When Brooke shows up, my mother's dog does not care about anything except for getting inside Brooke's vehicle. Her dog is purely focused on going back to The Russell Inn ASAP when he hears Brooke's Kia pull up to the house. He acts like an 8 year old boy doing to Disney World for Dogs as soon as he sees Brooke in person when she goes out of her way to pick up and to drop off customer's dogs. And the best part of a dog that has been exercising a lot and having fun will come home and be worn out and very relaxed for almost a full week. Dogs have to unleash their anxiety too, and The Russell Inn is the perfect environment for some holistic naturopathy healing and self-reflection for all dogs there plus all of the new friends they make for a lifetime and see often especially for loyal clients during holidays. Make sure for holidays that you book your pet in advance as The Russell Inn can sell out of room quickly for major holidays that encourage air travel and vacations. If your dog is not a dog-person, then this is not the place to book your dog. It's about a dog filled community of friendship and mutual respect, a world humans wished they could also live in with other humans. Never know how a "kennel" experience is unless you try a new place. The owner even wrote a book on dogs. If you want your dog to get love and attention, the owner has decades of experience doing exactly that for all that live there, for those that need homes, and for her client's boarding their dog or multiple dogs. There is also a time when no visitors are welcome in the middle of the day, so that the pack of all dogs can have Siesta or Nap Time or "Me Time". Visitors during off-hours can wake up the entire "kennel", so please respect the hours and just visit by text or phone call with the owner, the Patron Saint of Animal Welfare & Rescue. Your dog is your life. Any dogs with her are immediately part of her home and her life too. It's a very warm and welcoming place to let your dog be on vacation while you are off on your own vacation. The owner is an incredible dog whisperer. She even gets same day leftovers from a barbecue place nearby and makes homemade meals. It's not your typical dog kennel by any definition. Dogs are her life just like for you. Visit sometime. Ask when the next nature walk with the kennel is going to happen and join Brooke on the nature walk and ball throwing activity! It's very entertaining to watch them. We love watching our dogs; don't we? Only people who love dogs truly understand what I just said. They are off-leash (they form their own packs, being dogs), get home- cooked meals, can go on numerous walks/swims a day ( or snooze in the kennels, if they prefer) & are carefully watched over. All of my dogs are excited to go there--& they sleep soundly after they come home after all the doggie spa treatment. Brooke loves dogs & takes a personal interest in all of them. I'd give The Russell Inn 10 stars, if I could!
