Hostess is nonexistent, we watched others wait for 10 minutes all night unfortunately. That is the first step in the playbook for restaurant owners, immediate greeting. Right up there with having drinks to the table in the first few minutes. The server was very nice, just quiet and not talkative. Again, simple training skills for an easy fix. The food was good for the most part, we liked the elevated and unique menu and tastes. The queso is extremely good along with the Guac and chicken tostada. The salsa's were not good and you have to pay for them. No complimentary salsa or chips! The place was wide open so very loud, but that never bothers us! We may try it again if they address the glaring issues they have.

It's been a few years since I've been to what was previously named Mission Taco (but it's the same…read morerestaurant still) and I used to enjoy their food and drinks. This time, however, was not a great experience. The service was slow (we were literally the first table I noticed in the restaurant at 4:45pm) and our queso was cold, my margarita was super sweet and weak, and I was just overall not impressed. I am usually so easy to please but this was a miss for me. I am honestly wondering if they may be going out of business because of the lack of attention everything seemed to have.

I have worked with one of the photographers that came before and she is amazing, as was Janae. It was nice not to have to drag my newborn to a studio and they had more props and adorable things to put the baby in and on than I could have imagined. This is the perfect way to capture my sweet baby and I cannot wait to see all of the great pics!

This business is good and the pictures shown are a good representation of the finished product…read more However, they are a newer company as of 2016 and you can feel the learning curve from the initial set up to the photo session. I'm located near Kansas City, my photographer was at my house for nearly 5 hours. She got some good shots but it was a very long day for being 7 days postpartum. The company trains each photographer so each session is like the last. The pro is that their photos seem consistent, the con is that my photos were almost the exact same as the ones on their advertisement and likely the same if my neighbor were to order a session. Furthermore, I didn't get to choose my photographer, she was assigned based on my location and the company said they could not send me examples of her work because all the photographers are trained the same and their work is indistinguishable. During my session I missed the spontaneity of finding props or locations within my home that would make the photo shoot special and unique to me. My dog was also not allowed which was sad as she was present in my previous newborn session with my eldest. Lastly, the company only gives you 7 days to choose your pictures (a selection of only 29-30, which didn't seem like enough for 5 hours of picture taking). Then once you receive them you have 7 days to download them. This seems like a tight schedule for a mom juggling a newborn and a toddler. With all this said, if you like the pictures shown in their Yelp profile and you don't mind any of the above critique, then go for it.

Of course nothing can replace Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in my life, but I already train regularly where both advanced kickboxing and BJJ are taught. Title is not that gym. However, recently my grown kids have shown an interest in the cardio and training from a boxing class like Title, and honestly there are few places in the Kansas City area that can provide a consistent training experience with plenty of space and bags to handle a mixed class of beginners to advanced boxers. The location is also very convenient to at least half of us. Two of my adult children asked me to take them, so I passed out gear, showed them how to wrap up and stand and hit, and dragged them in for a few intro classes. It was not a disappointing experience! I'm not in the shape I was when I was younger, and I've been down with injuries and unable to train hard at my regular gyms, so the classes we took at Title kicked my butt nicely. My girls both enjoyed the experience as well, and it turned out there was no need for me to help them (they don't want to listen to me anyway) because the friendly staff was prepped with everything from teaching basic stances and foot movement to proper strikes and technique. They even could have provided loaner equipment and they showed them how to wrap their hands. Now... I don't wrap because I'm old and calloused and set in my ways - and in my day we used to punch bare fisted until we bled out our weakness. I don't like that they don't throw out combinations by number (naming the strikes throws me off), and I don't like that there are no kicks. I'm thinking, in my grumpy old man way, that I'm the wrong student to have in class. However, I'll tell you that treating the class like a 45 or 60 minute boot camp (time depends on which class), you can push yourself pretty hard. For me it takes getting past calling out the strike names instead of numbers, overcoming my old deaf ears trying to follow the instructions over the music, and then I got a great sweat on! Lots of ab work! Burpees rock! Lots of time to focus on basic technique! And I got to do something fun with my grown kids! I'm just gonna give this place 5 stars, because *yes*, I signed up for the unlimited plan so I can keep dropping in with my oldest two kids for some bonding, and a hard workout tailored to where my body is. If I was going to take away a star it would be because the Title membership does not transfer between locations. That's disappointing. One of my girls lives right next to another location, and she decided not to make it a regular thing because she couldn't go to the closer place without asking me to add a second membership.

I usually like to try something for the first time with a friend but this time I just went on my own. It wasn't intimidating at all. I felt welcomed by all.
