The Djudju Beer was not special, just a bottled beer with a fruit aroma. Disorganised customer service, long waiting time. PS: You can't pay with a card unless it's 20€ or more.

Wow, what a nice surprise this place was! We were in the area and walked into Pan Africa in a…read moresearch of dinner, but without any idea what to expect. The sign outside read "Nigerian" and "vegan options", so we got curious. The interior is cozy and well laid out, with lots of space for groups. There were plenty of vegan options on the menu, and although not indicated - most items are also glutenfree. However, meat eaters will find an array of interesting dishes as well, from chicken to ostrich and even crocodile steak. I can highly recommend to get several dishes to share, to get a taste of everything, but also for clearing your palette in between the well-spiced dishes. We ordered fried tofu masala with veggis and potatoe wedges, a mango-avocado salad, and a side order of cassava with a mint dip. Everything tasted amazing! It was plenty of food for us two, well spiced but not too spicy for us - although that's a personal evaluation. If you want to try something very typical for many African and Indian regions, try a Palm Drink (Ghana). It is fermented palm juice with a very low percentage of alcohol. I found it a required taste and decided after three sips that I'm not a fan, but my partner thought it was refreshing and sweet. Besides palm wine, there are a number of African beers on the menu, including Nigerian Guinness. All around Pan Africa is a lovely, unexpected gem in the middle of Rixdorf - Neukölln. I will for sure come back with friends!

It could tasted better. But it's really worth it with the price I paid. The menu 1 tasted good, as I heard. Maybe I will give it a try later. At the lunch time, the restaurant is usually really full. If you want to come and have a try, then try to avoid to come here at lunch break. But even so, they also offer seats outside the restaurant or simply just wait patiently, it usually won't take that long.

Food always comes quickly, and it's fresh and tasty. I don't like cilantro so they leave it off when I ask, which is nice. I always order a lime juice to drink, and unlike other places where it's too sour, this one has the right amount of sugar (though the fellow thinks it's too sweet, but Germans tend to feel that way about a lot of things). All together, the meal usually comes to around €7.50. When the weather's warmer, they open up the front windows/doors for a nice cross-breeze, and the people watching is always interesting.
