I have had so many massages all over the place and this was the worst and I paid to be relaxed but instead left in pain and more frazzled. I needed foot massage because I hurt my foot and also my hip... so I booked the treatment. The guy had me put my feet in and soaked while he did my shoulder massage. Maybe this is the way they do it but he only did shoulder and not back/hip area. He pushed so hard on my shoulders that it put heavy stress on my hip because he basically put his body weight with his elbow into my shoulder. Ahhh the pain... 3 days later I'm still in pain. My feet to feel better though which was the only plus. When he had me do my foot massage I waited to replace then. Normally foot massage give you a blanket but they do not. There was a lady at the reception desk and I kid you not ...the entire time she ate and apple crunching the apple and eating loudly and smacking like a cow while watching her video on the phone! So loud and annoying To top it all off, some other customer came and he wanted foot massage too and they allowed him to talk on his phone while so many people were getting massage - it was so inconsiderate of him and no worker told him to be quiet. Even there are signs to be quiet. He talked on the phone for 20 min! The the owner or maybe head lady named Jassy ( i saw her name tag)came out and she was so loud talking to all the other workers...I don't know what she said but she looked mad and seemed to be complaining to the other workers. What should have left me feeling better after a one hour session, left me feeling nothing but "need" for a better massage after. --- early bird special here is a really sweet deal ($39 before 3pm). I felt like the rooms are perfectly fine. I can see why some people think it resembles a hospital room, but I was perfectly fine with it and the songs they played downstairs. I like how the noise level was kept to a minimal and there's the option of a room on the second floor where you can have your massage in the same room with a friend. However, I prefer downstairs over upstairs. It's a lot less quiet upstairs. My masseuse Tracy wasn't too good....in the sense that I hardly felt anything after the massage. However, I wouldn't mind trying a different masseur/ masseuse next time. Luna's not bad as a masseuse. Favourite so far would be Kelly :) (non RMT) And New favourite, but he's an RMT.... Pricier, but well worth it if you're covered :) Phillip's the name. I was 10 minutes late but he was very chill about everything and gave me my full hour of massage therapy. My shoulders feel so much better/ relaxed now. You definitely feel an obvious difference. He also explained a lot of stuff in Chinese to me and showed me some stretches to improve my problem areas. He speaks English rather well, I just prefer using Chinese. On a side note, they have 3 registered RMT's here that work from Monday to Sunday with different availabilities. I suggest you call in to make an appointment beforehand :) I think this place deserves 4.5 stars :)
