Row of recliners.. ready for our foot reflexology sessions!

Correction! This review is for the Langley location!!! It's located inside the mall near Customer Service outside of the Bay They were able to accommodate a group of 4 which was great! I sat nearest to the entrance, a bit noisy from the mall chaos, would be best if they had a swinging door to muffle the outside noise, especially for relaxing The pressure was u real! Like no other massage They started with my arms and worked on my thighs calves and feet! It was such a good pain, something I needed especially being 31 weeks pregnant! My calves were soooo swollen I walked out walking on clouds! It was such a great feeling, I would highly recommend coming in for a session, I forsure will be coming back!

Unfortunately, today wasn't the best experience at ToeToSoul. This is my absolute favourite place to go to for a relaxing massage but today was horrible. The lady that gave me my massage was nice enough and really believed she was doing a great job. She kept asking me how is the pressure. I kept telling her more, more. Apparently she didn't understand or just didn't have energy. I left no different than when I went in. I didn't feel like I had a 110 minute massage. It was truly disappointing experience. What's worse I feel as though I was not valued as a customer. I was advised by the receptionist that next time I should advise I need someone that can administer a deeper massage. A baby could have given me a deeper more satisfying massage

I had a wonderful experience at ToetoSoul Relax Lounge. My mom and I planned on getting a full body massage for weeks now and we finally did it. We decided to get a well-deserved Combo Bliss B - 60 min Body Massage + 50 min Foot Reflexology which costs $109 (tax & tip not included). As soon as we arrived the place, we were greeted by the friendly receptionist and asked if we needed anything before we proceed to our massage room. Calvin, my masseur, was very attentive and thoughtful. He always asked if the pressure he was giving was fine. He even gave me pillows for my back while we were doing the foot reflexology because he noticed that I looked uncomfortable because I couldn't reach the foot soak. He's kind and warm. He sort of reminded me of Mr. Bates from the series Downtown Abbey, kidding aside. Key points: - The place was clean and the ambiance was nice. - The price for their services is affordable compared to other day spas. - They offer jasmine green tea and two dark chocolate bars while you enjoy your massage. - They have two washrooms and a number of private rooms for your massage. I wish they would offer more services in the future like full body exfoliation/scrub etc. But I would definitely go back again because I felt relaxed and rejuvenated after their services.

A bit pricier at first glance: 48 min for $50, but when you lay back in these leather, super comfy lounge chairs that also recline, this is a bonus. I caught myself snoozing twice in the later part of the session ;) Angel sure knows her pressure point around the feet: under, sides, top, and especially the heels. You do the amount of shopping and eating as I do, a weekly foot session is definitely a must ;) She did start off with a arm/shoulder massage for about 5 min. Near the end, when they bring out the wet hot towel to wipe off the oil, she still gave a 5-min chopping motion along the legs, a nice bonus. Nice touch they provide 2 chocolate snacks with your tea or water. Free parking in the back, but what's weird is that there's no back entrance so you have to walk all the way around. No amex. But still highly recommended, given its proximity to DT nor do I have to go the Big Foot ones, which may be cheaper, but look like dumps. ps. come here during the lunch break before 2pm, they have a 20% off special.

As most other reviewers had commented, the place is very clean, spacious with a nice tranquil atmosphere. There is meditative music playing throughout, and though the cars from Broadway can be distracting when it's really quiet (if you're the only one there as I was), it's a really relaxing lounge. I'm not sure if the receptionist was new, but he didn't know the process of signing in people with vouchers from Groupon - even though there were pages and pages of other customers, so I knew I was not the only one. I had bought a voucher for 3 appointments of either 45-minute upper-body massage with herbal pad placement and essential oil or a 50-minute foot-reflexology. I went all three times for the upper-body massage. For my first appointment, I had an older Chinese man, and though I was in pain most of the time since he was pressing too hard, I forced myself through it since I thought it would 'unwind' my tightly knotted muscles. Bad mistake. Even after 3 days, I was sore. I decided that for next time, I would ask to have a gentler massage. Near the end, the hot pack was placed on my shoulders. A bit hot at the beginning, but soothing afterwards. When the man came to pick it up, he said it's done and "go drink water." was all he said as he carried away the hot pack and that was that. The abrupt ending was kind of a turn-off. He came by to clean out the garbage can at the cashier as I paid, so I guess he was preparing for the end of his shift? Though it was only 8:30pm, and they're open till 10. But he didn't say thank you and avoided any eye contact. If you're there with the voucher, you'll be asked to pay for all three sessions' taxes after the first session. Remember to know how much tip you want to give before hand as the % on the taxes (on the machine) doesn't give you the right amount of tip for the service! (because it's calculating a percentage on the taxes only, not on the service) Second Time My second upper body massage was a much better experience. A different receptionist greeted me who seemed new to the job again, but otherwise, I was served tea with 2 pieces of chocolate. Very nice! Perhaps they forgot it the first time I went? This time, it was still 6:30pm on a Tuesday evening, and the staff were busy with 3-4 other customers, but I didn't have to wait too long. The masseuse was a lady this time, and for most of it, I believe it was well done. I don't like the slapping part as I am just skin and bones, so it wasn't all too pleasant. Third, Final Time The receptionist this time was what seemed like the manager, whom I'd seen the previous two times. He greeted me and offered me tea and chocolates. This time, it was a different Chinese man. From the moment I saw how he looked at me, I could sense something. There was a lot more direct physical contact (the other two used towels as much as possible to minimize skin contact - not that I am against skin contact in the first place), and it could be my imagination, but he worked on the lower end of my body the more than other two, though nothing that crossed the line. He was more curious about me, asking where I worked and if it was close by to this spa and such. Nothing terrible, but I don't think I'd come back if he was the only one that worked there. Overall, I like this place. Neat, peaceful, pretty good service and fair prices.

Beautiful decor! Music is soothing. Love the ambiance. Perfect setting for a massage. There is just enough privacy if coming alone but also able to have massages together if wanted. Charles was a great masseur; I love hard pressure and he was able to provide that for me! I had the 60 minute body massage and my mom had the 75 minute foot reflexology. It's even better that it was buy one and get the second half off! Now that's a deal! Most definitely will be back!

Amazing treatments. Highly recommend the body massage & reflexology combo! They're open late, too. Perfect for after-work self care.

Went here 3 times because the first two foot massages were so great. Last one was 3/5 - just seemed more random and rough.

Most of our go-to spots were already fully booked for the weekend, so we were open to trying somewhere new. There is a parking garage directly beneath the massage studio, but be aware of nearby events, especially at Rogers Arena. We ended up paying a steep flat rate of $50 for all-day parking because of an event, so I recommend allowing extra time to find more affordable options if you're visiting on a busy day. The space itself is fairly small. As you walk in, there is a station for foot massages on the right, and a couple small private rooms toward the back. We were shown to one of those private rooms for our session. My husband and I both enjoy deep tissue massages with strong pressure, and this place delivered. The massage was excellent. In fact, it was one of the best we've had. The pressure was exactly what we were looking for (we like "it hurts so good" pressure), and the price was incredibly reasonable. We were glad we brought cash for tipping, as the credit card system didn't include a tip option. Overall, I would highly recommend this spot for a deep tissue massage. The value was fantastic, and we were really impressed with the experience. $314 for a 90-minute couples massage felt like a great deal, especially for the level of care we received.

I have had many foot massages in my past but never at this place. I phoned and booked an appt. for 3pm - they quoted me $58 for 50 minutes for foot reflexology - good price. As I walked there, I live close by, I realized I was 15 minutes early 2:45--and that was when I was half a block away I saw my watch---they took me in set me up in the back area. It had a slight funky smell I couldn't quite place but comfortable recliner vinyl chairs with nice, dark lighting. They brought me black tea which I don't drink -- I said I'd do Green tea though? No, they don't have that and then they brought me water--water is good. I tell you all this because time is ticking by... I took off shoes and socks they brought foot bath as per norm had me turn around and move to the ottoman and the woman started to rub my shoulders--it was nice but I was there for my feet. Places often do this though to start as a complimentary service as your feet soak. That done, I moved back to the chair while she took the tub away I looked at my watch and it was 2:58 pm. She returned and thankfully moved onto my foot reflexology--it was a nice massage but not the best -- wasn't bad, kinda' just ok, but the woman was nice and friendly. Then very quickly it was over she got a hot towel to clean the oil off my feet and I looked at my watch and it was 3:34pm---whaaa? This was supposed to be a 50 minute massage for $58. So I said that it was not long enough--the very nice masseuse said 'oh the shoulder rub was part of it and the foot soak.' I noted I did not ask for a shoulder rub--I wanted a foot massage--she then had to talk with 'her boss' who proceeded to arrive and argue with me ruining any relaxation I had previously achieved saying basically -- 'too bad that was what they did there'. Now if I had wanted a combination massage I would have booked a combination massage, they have that available too for purchase---I wanted simply a 50 min foot massage--but now I just wanted to leave! What they should have done is just add another minimum 10 minutes as it was pretty obviously a lean service. I had said what time it was when the foot massage begun--not to mention what time I had actually arrived thru the front door---so it should have at least gone on for another 13 minutes. I had had enough arguing I put my shoes on as the 'boss' angily left the back area. I still gave my masseuse a $10 cash tip--was not her fault for the nastiness of her boss and their ridiculous policy. The nasty 'boss' was conveniently on the phone when I went up to pay. So I paid $60.90 (+$10 tip) for a nice but not great 36 minute foot massage--with a side helping of stress afterwards from the mean, non customer service friendly 'boss'. I wish I had asked if she was the owner? I write this to let others know what they may experience, and be forewarned of their practises as well as if this 'boss' does not own the establishment - the one who does own it knows what is actually going on there. I was the only customer there for the duration---which now makes a lot of sense.

One thing I respect is they always give you your full time too, not like other places where you pay for a 60 minute massage but the first 10 minutes are them asking you questions or getting dressed and it's really only a 45 minute massage. No, they literally look at the clock once they start massaging and that's when your time starts. And everyone is great, I go to Hilary when I can, Miyako is great too, but honestly I've never had a bad massage there by anyone. The traditional thai massages are really nice, they give you clothing to wear and basically guide you into different stretches and push your body in ways that really stretch you out in the best way. Their aromatherapy massages are great too. If it's your first time I recommend the East to West as it includes a little bit of everything.
