So if the staff eat at the same palce they work, got to have something about the place. ALWAYS BOOK!!!!! Can't fault the food nor the service. You have to get the attention of the staff sometimes, but that's only because they are so busy. Once you have they are very attentive. Air Conditioned, Children's Menu, Disabled Facilities, Limited Parking, but street parking normally OK, if not competing with the church. Highly recommend the fillet steak, and the spare ribs. The children's menu is equally good. One of the young chefs came out to talk to us on our second visit.

We were served by David, who was very patient with us trying out our very limited Spanish vocab skills. He was constantly smiling and didn't seem to resent speaking to us in English. We ordered a variety of tapas between 4 of us, including flavoursome anchovies, super-fresh calamari, a local octopus stew and some very brave patatas bravas! We particularly enjoyed the albondigas (scrumptious meatballs) and the capresi salad, ordering two portions of each. I had some tapas, which were all seasoned amazingly. As a main dish I shared a seafood platter, again really tasty and of good quality. They gave us little refreshers through meals that were on the house, such as shots of gazpacho and mango sorbet and liquor for the grownups at the end of our dining. 10/10, would recommend.

Overall it was a great experience! The staff was very friendly and helpful and the food was excellent. The prices are a bit high but the overall experience is one to remember. I will be back the next time I make it to this part of Spain.

Tip: The starter we chose (with advice from our server) was the steamed mussels. As our server had said, we found that a single portion was more than enough for two to share. We also enjoyed several cocktails with our meal that day; my favorite by far was the Pumpkin amuse - delicious! For our main, we shared the fillet of ray (tronco rodaballo). This dish was beautiful to look at, with a taste profile that bordered on distilled awesomeness :-) Bottom line: Fabulous views, excellent service, and wonderful food made our experience here one that I look forward to repeating. So, essentially, it was supposed to be a kind of deposit. After barely two hours, it suddenly started pouring with rain -- something, of course, that nobody could have predicted. The large number of people who were there all rushed to the restaurant to take shelter. It was very chaotic, and it took quite a while before we were offered a table. At first, I could understand the situation, but apparently it was very difficult to figure out which table to give us. Keep in mind that the restaurant wasn't even half full. We then patiently waited for someone to take our order. Again, this took quite some time, but given the chaos, I was still willing to understand. Our food arrived fairly quickly, followed shortly afterwards by the bill -- even though we had not asked for it. When I asked whether this meant we were expected to leave, I was literally told: "If you're not eating or drinking anything else, yes." Our drinks weren't even finished, and I had literally just put my knife and fork down after finishing my meal. We were simply told to leave and sent out into the pouring rain. I honestly cannot accept this. This is not how you treat paying customers. When you pay this kind of price, you expect at least some friendliness, hospitality and decent service. And then, when we went outside, we were also told that the €15 towel deposit would not be refunded after all. This was clearly stated differently in the information we had found online. So the information provided on their website is misleading. In the end, it turned out to be a very expensive day. Of course, we cannot blame the beach club for the rain -- that is something nobody can control. But the way we were treated afterwards was completely unacceptable. Needless to say, they will not be seeing us again.

Longer if you are in the heart of Valencia, but it is worth it for the award winning paella and seafood. You are surrounded by rice paddies and you know it is a great local spot when there are other spanish folks and the servers speak a little english. Luckily the menu is in spanish and english. Service is great, nice and laid back, enjoy your food, don't rush through it style. The white wine sangria was delicious and refreshing. We had langostine and prawns and the special paella with iberico ham. Every grain of rice was very flavorfull! If you plan to take a taxi back, they staff are kind enough to call a taxi for you, keep in mind it will take 30-40min for the taxi to get to the restaurant. Your alternative option is to take the #24 bus at the center of town back to Valencia which leaves once per hour, check apple or google maps for the time.
