This is a small FAMILY business - the kinds of businesses we should continue to support, not only in these times, but always. So if they don't pick up the phone on the first try, or respond to an email in a few minutes, be patient. They WILL respond and they (Marvin and Amber) are two of the nicest, most genuine people I've ever had the pleasure of working with. This is their livelihood, their reputation, their family's future and you can tell that they take that seriously. In fact, two months before we were scheduled to have the tree removed, we noticed a pretty concerning crack in the trunk (down to the root) on one of the trunks. Afraid the tree was compromised and there was a significant risk of it falling on the house, we called Kingdom and they came out within a couple of days with a lift and removed the canopy from the affected tree. They saved us a lot of anxiety and a LOT of potential damage! A few weeks later, they were able to bump us up in the schedule and got to work removing the entire tree. The work? AMAZING! When I say my tree was massive, I mean MASSIVE!! 5 trunks clustered into one and taller than our two story house! Each morning Marvin and his crew showed up at 8:00 AM on the dot, worked through the day and cleaned up after themselves before they left. Some minor hiccups (honestly I can't believe there weren't more with this kind of work), but these people are solid and made sure everything was handled immediately and professionally. I'm currently waiting on them to return to complete the stump grinding, but I'm sure that will go off without a hitch as well :) I will recommend Kingdom Landscaping - and Marvin and Amber - to anyone I know needing tree trimming, tree removal, landscaping or snow services...in fact, I already have!!

I understand, based on the employer's voicemail message, that they have 5 kids and are busy; but, I have a life too that I am trying to balance, you are a business, and a prospective client is seeking your services - we at least need communication back somehow - even if if the job may be too big or you are not able to do it now... The motto noted of treating others the way you would like to be treated - with care, respect, and a personal connection? I'm strongly questioning that. I wouldn't waste your time if even a quote is all your waiting for to get a job done...

Nothing fancy just needed regular cuts. I should have listened to the alarm bells that you never could get a live person on the phone and always had to leave a message, however, I have busy days myself and understand as long as I receive a callback. It wasn't until I left a message at 4 pm (their message claims to be open till 5 pm) about requesting to skip a cut the following day and to review some invoicing concerns that the problem started. I never received a callback but wasn't concerned since I was sure that they received the message and would call back to cover my concern. It wasn't until my security cameras alerted me that they had conducted service when I called back, was forwarded again to voicemail, that I became a little irritated. I left a second voicemail and emailed advising about my previous voicemail and that I was not expecting to pay for the that day's service since I had requested the cancel in enough notice. I was contacted back by John (I assume the owner) who was extremely combative, " I don't see what you don't understand about the invoices.", proceeding to cut me off, and said I would be required to pay for that day's service even though he admitted that he was busy the day before and didn't get around to it. This all could have been avoided by just a simple tone of voice change, customer service skills, and a simple invoice break down. Unfortunately, Top Cut Lawn Care has lost out on a faithful customer. In addition they go above and beyond the call of duty to make sure things are done well. I have been so impressed with there service that I referred them to my parents, my in laws and my best friend. Definitely a great company to do your yard work. They also do snow plowing for my house as well. In addition they are also reasonably priced considering the service that you are getting.
